Péter (10/5): Bájos szálláshely, csodás folyóparti kilátással! - 2 szobás (suite) apartmant választottunk, ami kissé puritán volt, de tágas és jól felszerelt. (Hűtőszekrény, hajszárító, 2 légkondi, TV). A reggeliző-rész, a medence és a folyóparti terület fantasztikus. Órákig tudtunk gyönyörködni a kilátásban! Korlátlanul áll a vendégek rendelkezésére hűtött, üveges víz, hideg cola, banán, kekszek és finom kávé. A reggeli változatos, finom, hideg és meleg ételekkel. Nincs hatalmas választék, de nekünk tökéletes volt. A személyzet hihetetlenül kedves és segítőkész. A városközpont a közeli hídon keresztül egy könnyű séta. Bármikor visszamennénk. A tágas apartmanban nem volt egyetlen szekrény sem, így csak kis asztalkákra, pultokra tudtunk kipakolni. Az erkély nagyon kicsi, nem lehet kiülni. Ezért mi mindig lesétáltunk a folyóparti asztalokhoz, ami viszont mindenért kárpótolt! :)

Marta (10/5): Elección perfecta!!! - La ubicación es muy buena estás a pocos minutos del centro. El lugar es muy tranquilo. Y la habitación es amplia, decoración moderna y sencilla. Tienes café y agua en modo selfservice todo el día. Y las vistas para el desayuno son fabulosas Estaban de obras en el río y había ruido. Más variedad de fruta en el desayuno eché en falta.

Guest (7/5): Hôtel correct mais très bruyant - La piscine est effectivement agréable après une bonne journée d'activité. Les lits sont confortables (les coussins trop épais mais ça c'est une affaire de goût personnel). L'accueil n'a pas été aussi chaleureux que ceux a quoi nous avons été habitué tout au long de notre voyage. Mais ils répondent aux questions sans problème. Il faut vraiment prendre en compte que l'hôtel est situé a côté d'un bar avec de la musique extrêmement fort jusqu'à plus de 1h du matin. L'insonorisation est inexistante. On entends beaucoup les voisins et les voitures. Le petit dejeuné est correct. La salle de bain senté très mauvais les égouts mais avec la porte fermé on ne le sentait pas dans la chambre.
huug (8/5): Goed, maar minder gezellig als andere locaties in de omgeving. - Kamers waren schoon met goede bedden en lekkere douche. Personeel was behulpzaam maar niet overdreven vriendelijk. Ontbijt was voldoende aanwezig. Ligt op 10 min lopen van nightmarket Anusarn. Wat top is. Ontbijtruimte is bij regen wat klein als het druk is in het hotel. En het gebrek aan een restaurant merkte wij ook. Wij waren er tijdens het regenseizoen en het is 1 avond echt tekeer gegaan. Dan moet je er toch uit voor het diner.

Chris (7/5): Good - It's location for us was great, the nightly markets were an easy walk away and the train station for the next morning was 10-15 minutes in traffic. The property comes across a little more upmarket than it is. the rooms were ok and the rear of the property backs on to the river but it is not a quiet street or area.

Not many sunbeds available as pool area is small but we made it work. Free chilled bottled water and fruit available all day. Hotel are happy for guests to bring in food and alcohol to consume in their eating area which helped us to keep costs down. Loved our stay here.

Mateusz (9/5): Great place to stay in Chiang Mai - A super cute small hotel with incredibly friendly staff! It has a charming modern-Thai vibe, perfectly reflecting the neighborhood's atmosphere. The garden is lovely, the pool is spotless, and having breakfast in such beautiful surroundings is a real treat. Even the windowless room was cozy and inviting, with a spacious, comfortable bathroom and a fantastic shower! There may be some sounds of live music from the bars across the street and near the riverside, but they usually stop around midnight. If that bothers you while you're in Chiang Mai, you might just be missing out on the fun - go check out the night market instead!

Evan (1/5): Families, avoid. - The grounds are nice, which is what sells this space on booking.com. The rooms are smaller than expected, which would have been fine if they weren’t so run down. Wallpaper peeling, dingy, etc… even that might have been okay if they had installed a p-trap in the sink, which they didn’t, so sewer gasses filled the room. Might have been able to tolerate that, but on a Tuesday night the surrounding bars were loud until 3am. Loud enough that it was difficult to sleep. Okay…We have gladly stayed in loud, dingy, smelly places before, but the icing on the cake is that the exterior doors to courtyard didn’t close or lock. Not sure how they seemed not to notice this, but the solution that was offered the first night was to drive a couple of screws into the jams and permanently close the doors. We got what sleep we could and found other accommodations, despite pre paying a non-refundable, well over $100usd/night for our time there.

Jacklin (8/5): Small but Beautiful i.River Hotel - Petfectly well situated on the border of Ping River, this hotel has everything a holiday maker needs:- Groceries, Restaurant less than 100 mts. One feels like Home with excellent service. Thumbs Up 👍to Yean, the young lady at the Reception. Even was spared the pain to walk & look for reasonably good & cheap Laundry service. I was surprised to know that there was a company for pick up & drop off at a good price. The stay would have certainly been Excellent if the sad flooding occurred long before my stay. Traces of its havoc are still visible all along Loi kroh and the streets around. I was even granted free shower facilities after I checked out and catch the night coach. Some guests enjoying their legal "medical cannabis" . Luckily they were checking out. This should definitely be prohibited in the common space even if that is in the open air. A small tag under the Thai snacks and other food items would help foreigners to appreciate better their Pa Tongo and ors.

The rooms were clean, shower was spot on, good wi-fi and comfy sun loungers! Towels provided for those, the pool is decent, I have no complaints about the hotel. It is located on the other side of the river which for us was ideal. The previous night we stayed right on the night bazaar and could not get to sleep for the sound of karaoke and really, really loud music. They have fresh coffee and water available and included in the stay, the breakfast selection is small but fresh and tasty. On one evening we got our own food and a bottle of wine to sit on the terrace bit they have near the pool, it was lovely. Would definitely stay again.
Youri (7/5): Decent stay nearby the river - Great location, 10min from the night market but also on the edge of the city and next to the river. We had the streetside upper room which was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is okay for a day or two, nothing special and would personally recommend to eat out in one of the cafes nearby. It's not the newest, although for this price the room was very pleasant. Some flaws yes but also this is Thailand. Free coffee, tea and water is a plus! During the day it's very relaxing and calm but especially on weekends don't expect to sleep before midnight as the multiple bars and restaurants find it a great idea to all host live music gigs (not even good ones). That being said not sure where else inside the city it's quiet. When it rains, the roof makes a lot of noise as this was built as an additional part.

David (10/5): Exceptional - Family room with river and pool view was perfect for us. Free breakfast was convenient. The rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful and always available. Two pillow options for all and the beds were comfortable. Restaurant overlooking river, local bar, convenience store and grocery store, all a shirt walk away.
Marc (7/5): Nice location and great river view, but not calm ... - Location is good, near the river. The swimming pool area has a really nice view, but should be renovated. Breakfast is ok, enjoying the view on the river while having a coffee is amazing. Don't come here if you enjoy quiet nights ... You have a choice between the noise of the street for some rooms, or the noise from the concerts on the river for the other ones. The rooms are nice but some equipment could be renovated.
Frederic (10/5): Great stay in I-River Chiang Mai - We spent 4 wonderful nights in this hotel in July 2024. We particularly enjoyed the calmness and the friendliness of the hotel. The location in town is perfect. We are less than 10 minutes far from the daily night bazaar on foot. We have 2 supermarkets less than 5 minutes far from the hotel. Great restaurants in the neighborhood. And it’s safe, even at night. The hotel staff is friendly. I want to thank Yean in particular. This beautiful lady at the reception was key to the success of our stay in Chiang Mai. She was very patient and gave us a lot of information about the different places we could visit, and about how to easily get there. I highly recommend this hotel!
Lani (8/5): Will book again when we come again next year. - Great location in a quiet side of town close to Kalare Night Bazaar and Stadium. Walkable to markets if you don’t have a motorbike/scooter licence. Nice pool to chill by. No restaurant on site but there’s heaps around so it doesn’t need one. Family room is big and opens out to the pool area, but it’s pretty old and worn through but it’s ok. Staff aren’t super happy to see you but they are fine.
Maciej (8/5): Overally would return, good value for money, great location. - Location, a bit aside, along the river, but in the same time just a 5min walk from busy night life street with market. Thats a super plus. Good breakfest, very nice garden & pool area. Room from the street a bit loudy so if you have problems sleeping, take one from the riverside. Also, room might use a little renovation, especially toilet. Being super sensitive i would never say i had a problem using it but some freshness would do.

Modern, super clean, very comfortable, coffee (real coffee from the machine, no instant stuff), tea and water the whole day Long available. Perfect Location at the River, very relaxing. Bridge over the River very near. So you only Walk like 10 Minuten to the nightmarket. We stayed for 5 days and will definitely Book iriver again the next time we are in Chiang Mai.

Enjoyed being away from the loud old town streets We stayed in the suite for some extra space and it needs abit of an update. It’s quite shack like. Didn’t bother us as much but the outside areas are so good so would be great if the room matched abit! The air con was amazing though and great value for money!

Granita (10/5): Great place to stay - This hotel is really a hidden gem! It looks unassuming from the front, but once we get in and walk straight to the garden, it's a WOW moment! Neat, calming, and intimate. This is the place I have spent zen moment in the quiet morning and the late evening. Just sitting on the deck by the river watching the sky changes colors was so contemplative. Their breakfast is excellent! They change the variety every day, so there's something to be expected every morning. Their egg fried rice is the best I ever tasted throughout my 1 week journey in Thailand. The staffs hospitality were EXCELLENT! Double thumbs up! The pillow. It could be better.
