Guest Reviews
- Chad (2/5): - Dead bugs all over the bathroom floor and sink. Blood stains on the sheets in both beds. Had it booked for 2 nights but only stayed one and was told I was getting charged regardless.
- Karl (4/5): - What...a....dump. Internet did not work. Towel (1) was gray and worn. Door barely closed. Toilet paper holder was broken. Everything painted over. Wow...
- russell (10/5): - Front desk lady awesome

- Yaya (10/5): - Google
- Yaya Joseph (10/5): - Acroßsfrm Dollars Store ñ fast food .
- ERIKA (2/5): - This was the most terrible place I ever had that misfortune to stay in. It was filthy, to say the least. There was dogfood on the floor, the tub was disgusting, one of the bedspreads had a big hole in it, and worst of all there was drug perephenalia behind the nightstand. I had already paid and they refused a refund. I am certainly disappointed that you would even represent a business of that kind. My trust in your company is gone. I will not book with you again.
Sincerely,
Erika Ferstl
- Yantika (10/5): - Very helpful n polite workers.was provided with any thing I needed at no extra costs .was really helpful nkindto my son.
- Wendy (2/5): - I guess for the price it was ok. Only 2 small towels to and 2 pillows on a king size bed
- Bert (2/5): - Got scabies
- MILDRED (10/5): - I booked this room for my son an daughter in law and they said they had a good stay this time and the daughter check them in was very friendly and sweet to them thank you making there stay very good
- William (8/5): - Great night very quite
- Hiep (2/5): - roaches and mold
- Isidro (2/5): - Poor quality the bed was nasty with a lot Stains On the mattresses very bad i will never go back to the location.
- Roy (2/5): - The room looked like trash.
- HILLARY (10/5): - the check-in process was quick. and I was given an extension for my check-out. the receptionist and management at large were courteous.
- Iola (2/5): - I was suppose to get a no smoking room and didn't. The room was filthy.
The sheets were dirty, cigarette burns all in the top sheet. The bedspread was old as dirt, bleach stains, holes, smelled of sweat. I asked for a new sheets and only got a new top sheet and they said they had no more bedspreads.
The peep hole had some kind of screw through it and what ever they covered it with made it look like a turd was stuck to the door.
There was no toilet paper and when I went and asked for some they acted like I was trying to steal it.
I had a main breaker box with no cover on it in my room.
The carpet was filthy and stained all up.
There is no wifi like it said on expedia. The pictures they use are of a room they redone, but the rest of the rooms are not like that.
The fron deak is not open 24/7 line it stated on Expedia. The desk closes down at 8:30/9:30.
I never seen an ice machine.
I had a connecting room and either the owners or family lived in the other room and they were not quite, the man smoked and the smoke would come in my room.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
- Tina (8/5): - The property is older but is clean. THe only issue I have was lack of plug-in in the room to charge phone.
- Vickie (2/5): - The room was in ill repair. There were bugs in the bed. I actually turned in the key after being in the room about 15 minutes and went to stay at a different hotel. It was awful.
- Tony (8/5): - Quiet
- John (6/5): - Not for a family. I stayed a quick, cheap one night stay. The shower water was excellent .
- Joshua (6/5): - none
- Verified traveler (2/5): Cheap place to get off the road for the night. - The bed was terrible. Had to try to get some sleep in a chair. The shower control was either hot or cold. But it was cheap, it was clean, and it was only for one night.
- raymond (10/5): - Wall to Wall carpeting, shampoo, good wifi.
- Autumn (2/5): TERRIBLE STAY - Bed bugs not clean poop on the towels and wash cloths hair in the tub poop stains on blankets
- David (10/5): - Great
- Tara (10/5): Lost in love - Definitely an amazing stay
- Richard (6/5): - Staff looked like they were very tired
took 15 minutes for clerk to check me out
mold on bottom of shower curtain
door hard to close
very limit tv channels
wifi not reliable
- Anthony (8/5): - It's a good place to stay if you're on a budget. Which explains the name lol but I thought it was a pretty good stay.
- Anthony (10/5): - It's quiet and calm
- Ed (2/5): - Wouldn’t stay there because manager was on drugs/drunk. Room had bed bugs.
- Marcia (2/5): - Problem with crickets in the room. Front door was warped had to bang it shut. We wanted a no smoking room & got a smoking room.
- Clyde (4/5): - The room wasn’t like the picture. First room the sheets wasn’t clean then the deadbolt didn’t unlock. So we had to climb out of windows. They finally moved us to a different room
- Tony (8/5): - Nice staff
- Jana (8/5): Convenient location - Front desk clerk was super friendly. Website simply stated non-smoking so I assumed it was a smoke free facility. It was not. Clerk upgraded me to a non-smoking room for $10. Room was nice enough for the amount paid. Fridge and microwave in the room. No ice machine. Seemed to be a lot of foot traffic around the motel parking lot.
- gary (4/5): - Many things within the room didn't work. Minimal bath linens present. Looking for non-smoking room, given smokers room instead.
- charla (8/5): - Had to turn in a complaint on a neighbor. Music so loud it was shaking the walls. Manager handled the situation quickly.
- Shawna (4/5): - I booked room for 4 nights, I had emergency after 2 nights. I had to leave unexpected when I followed up about refund on 2 nights not used. Was told sorry no refund. Seriously things happen that are out of a person control. With this type of service, I will not be booking my next week long stay here.
- Nikki (4/5): - I chose it for its convenience, it worked for that purpose only. Room was hot, smelled horrible, even in a non smoking room. Could hear everything outside of the room. Building do for a remodel. I provided my own towel. Did have a few channels on the tv, good working mini frig and microwave. Overpriced for what’s provided
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible! - Worst experience ever.
- Robert (2/5): - They only had one towel no soap no cups no towel holders had to ask for a remote for tv and had a bad smell.Only thing was the price that was the lowest but you get what pay for
- Jamie Brummett (2/5): Unsafe - This hotel was very unsafe! Gang members and others coming through the parking lot! Can’t see your vehicle from rooms in most places. All phones were down in the rooms. Plus when I went to the office no one would come help me.
- Mike Althaus (6/5): - One night stay. Just needed a place to sleep and shower. Close to downtown amnenities
- Robin (8/5): - Clean smoking room right by door parking
- John (8/5): Best price in town but a decent place - Nothing fancy, but clean and the best price in town.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay at your own risk!! - First of all, I can’t believe this is even an option. It is NOT SAFE to stay here. When the front desk guy makes you sign a paper that says it’s non refundable, make them show you the room first!! The room was scary. It smelled terrible. The deadbolt didn’t work because the door had been kicked in several times! There was no remote for the tv. The place is so dingy and dirty that I didn’t use the toilet. I didn’t even sit on the bed because it didn’t look clean and I wasn’t sure what might be crawling on there. I was there for about 20 minutes before I decided to cut my loses and leave. As I was leaving, 2 guys were circling my car. I don’t drive anything unusual. That was another reason I left. Too many unsavory characters just hanging out in the parking lot. I actually didn’t think my car would have made it through the night untouched. Also, during that short time I probably saw about 7-8 police cars drive by watching the place.
- Kimberly (6/5): - Old, outdated, unsafe, cheap though.
- Caitlin (2/5): - There was nothing about the place that I liked. The rooms were terrible, they had 2 police officers there the people running the place couldn't see what was wrong. Needless to say,we stayed at a different hotel
- Monica (2/5): Scam site an hotel - I got robbed by this site aj hotel even though I booked a room the said they didn't have a room an kicked us off property. With no place to go s
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Was given wrong room. Next room door would not ooen
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The picture you show is not even close. We had only three lights and they may have been 40 watt. One in the bath, over vanity and one for the main room. The bed lights had no bulbs and they were not even wired.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No refund on early check out due to family emergency
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The place was just not clean looking. There were cigarette holes in my comforter. I didn't even want to take my socks off
- Verified traveler (10/5): They were great and amazing people - The people here that checked us in and check out we're great if we had any questions or any complaints they listened and understood and helped us with anything that we needed thank you guys we appreciate it
- Dana (2/5): The hotel was dirty the room was dirty sheets dirt - The hotel was dirty the room was dirty sheets dirty the room smell bad due to smoking
- Kelly (6/5): Get what you pay for... - Not a good property....not friendly...rude....
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very sketchy with suspicious activity. Not somewhere to take children or family. Located in a bad part of town. Door would barely close and didn’t seem secure.
- Aaron (2/5): - Bed was filthy. Sheets were dirty with cigarette burns. I got a room at a different hotel for the second night of my stay, even though there were no refunds. I could not and would not attempt to sleep there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It was ok. - Nice help at the front desk for check-in, but no one came to the window for check-out the next morning. I just left the key in the room. The facility is aging. My non-smoking room was right next to a smoking room. That doesn't work. The room smelled of smoke anyway. The room seemed clean, but could use updating or at least touch-up of the '70s color scheme (pink and green). The room was fine for me, but I wouldn't have brought my wife there.
- Dusty (2/5): - This was the worst horrible. Hotel stay I've ever had the room was dirty the employees were rude and I got robbed I would like a hotel credit for a different hotel for one night
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The staff there are rude and not helpful. Even though check-out time is 11 am we were forcefully told we had to leave at 10:30. This motel is in a bad part of town. I would not recommend the motel to anyone.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Door wouldn't shut and latch, looked like it had been kicked in. Old tv, and the cable had weak signal so the channels kept blocking out.
- Donna (2/5): - No housekeeping service at all, towels had yellow stains on them which was ok because we had to have something to dry the bathroom floor with the leaking toilet. But worst of all BED BUGS.
- Russell up (4/5): Not so budget friendly - I've stayed here before and really have had no reason to complain but this night i was advised the rate would have been $10 cheaper had i booked through the hotel.
The heater was Soo noisey it was impossible to sleep. And the doors ability to secure and lock had recently been tested and failed yet I'm laying or a cash deposit as incentive to return to office before 11am. Towels that once we're white now coffee brown. Remote to tv was Soo abused it was changed up only but you had to go to tv to power on or off. I'll stop there but could easily continue. The office should have offered to honor the discount in price cause they had to know how nasty it would be to shower knowing what was available to wash and dry with.
Never Budget Inn again.
- Babydoll (4/5): - The door to my room was broken, it was really hard to get open and closed. Sub par room. Will not stay here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I didn’t like anything at that place. It was nasty dirty and cockroaches everywhere
- Sandra (10/5): My stay - Great room with fridge and microwave
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It’s a little run down this place needs work and when you walk in the place has a musty stinky odor. It was a convenient location to what we wanted to do yesterday afternoon
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was not clean but staff was very nice I think they need new housekeeping staff
- Jason (2/5): Worst hotel ever - Of the hundreds of hotels I have stayed in the last 10 years this is by far the worst I have ever booked. Hotels falsely led me to believe this was a 2.5 star hotel but it does not even deserve even one star. This is the kind of hotel that rents rooms by the hour.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I’m good. It fit my bare bones requirements. Nothing fancy but quite adequate.
- Marlin (6/5): - Old but acceptable. What more can one say. It was what it was. And the price was right.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - A big concern was the obvious drug dealings that were occurring out of rooms and in the parking lot at the Budget Inn. The surrounding neighborhood seems to lend to this activity. Many of the rooms were seemed to be rented to 'permanent' residents and the activity at these doors was very suspicious and lent to a feeling of concern. Many individuals on foot, bicycles and cars has brief encounters in the parking lot. When I asked management if I were safe at the location, being an alone women, I was told that crime downtown was zero percent, problem was Budget Inn is located 'across the tracts' from downtown and in a completely different atmosphere. Management was telling me this from behind their doors covered in burglar bars and a glass separation from customers at the count with about a 5"x5" window opening to speak with them. Management was nice and polite and have their hands full operating in a very questionable market. My room had no smoke alarm or other means of alert for hazards. The sheets and floor appeared to be very clean, pillows didn't smell but I quickly removed the bedspread that was covered in cigarette burns and I questioned how often it was washed. The refrigerator in the room was top notch with a freezer and cooling section but the shower curtain hung onto the floor of the bathtub and was covered in mold and who knows what else if other customers peed or blew their nose in the shower. Nasty! and all it would take is a pair of scissors to trim it.
