- Connie (8/5): Recommend Staying - The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Not a lot of extras like cups, phone, coffee pot or hair dryer. Overall, it was very nice for the price and I would stay again. The only downside was the construction guys in the surrounding rooms were extremely loud.

Room stank of cigarettes. Marks on the sheets and bed cover was filthy. General area outside of hotels was run down and overgrown.

- Verified traveler (4/5): At least the staff was friendly - The door didn't sit in the frame tightly. The lock took 20 minutes to get to work correctly. A giant spider was in the room, but we had no other hotel nearby to switch to. At least the staff was friendly.

- Spencer (4/5): Won't stay there again - Hotel was scary. People on gambling machines in the lobby. Aside from people that seemed to be living there the place seemed abandoned. A strange man followed our movements to our room that made us very uncomfortable. We felt unsafe. Had to walk down a dark alley around the back of the hotel to the room. Pool was filled in with gravel.

- Mark (6/5): Fine, but nothing to brag about. - It was what we needed for a two night’s stay in the area for our son’s wedding. The room was comfortable but the bare floor could use better cleaning. The TV remote did not work well so our channel selection was very limited. Though only three rooms were being used our first night, other guests with a crying child were put in the room right next to us. I am sure that this was a nice place back in its day.

They put us in the room RIGHT next to the office while the other guests were at the far end of the complex. Smoking/nonsmoking was NOT an option while reserving on expedia nor was it mentioned at checkin but the owner complained we were smoking.. no swimmingpool. Wifi was not mentioned at checkin and when we requested the sign in credentials we didnt even have 1 bar of reception. Couldnt connect. I would NOT rent from this hotelagain.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and AC worked. They are renovating the hotel so construction started early in the morning, probably to beat the heat. A comfortable bed and shower was all we needed.

There was no cold water so taking a shower was not a pleasant experience, in fact I had to wait until one of my employees was done and go to their room to shower. The shower had spiders and cob webs in it. Beds were comfortable. Nothing special about this place. It was the only choice for us being here for work, or we wouldn't have stayed here.

- Cory (2/5): Warning!!!!!Do NOT Stay here. Keep driving!!!! - Open the door, met with mirror on floor, huge hole in wall above sink with extension cord wrapped with electric tape going behind wall. Beds have to jump up to get into with sheets felt like sandpaper. topped off with TV remote doesn’t work. Zero cups for water. Sleeping in my truck would of been a more comfortable option.

The ice in the bucket was brought to us... I was a bit uncomfortable with not knowing where it came from etc. I just went to a gas station and bought ice.
- Wayne (6/5): OK for a budget overnight stay. - Bring your own ice, coffee/coffee maker, hair dryer if you need one and snacks/breakfast. I expect an ice maker at every hotel, they had none. Wi-Fi OK, bed was comfortable, it was quiet, a few sketchy guest, but overall it was a safe place. Adequate for a place to sleep on your way through. Not a reflection of the hotel but I expected better dining options in Lexington. What could be a charming town, wasn't.

There were also dead insects in the light fixture above the sink. As for amenities, there were none. But the bed was clean and comfortable and it was a quiet place to spend the night.

We reserved a double queen non smoking room and all they had was a smoking room and when we let them know that was not acceptable and booked another hotel, they still charged me! This place had gun shots through the walls, locked lobby, and super gross. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

- Carolyn J (8/5): Comfy and clean! - Everything looked newly refurbished or new - the bed was amazingly comfortable (but ask for one of their step stools if you're short!). The room and bathroom had hardwood floors, which I prefer over "who knows where it's been" carpeting. New management was very pleasant and helpful. For the price, it was a great deal!

- Drew (4/5): There are better places to stay in Lexington. - There are better places to stay in Lexington. It appeared as though the second floor of this aging hotel was under construction. The whole floor was chained off. The beds were comfortable, but the smoking room reeked of tobacco. There were an inadequate supply of towels for our party of six and no drinking glasses whatsoever.

- Angela (10/5): Better than a high priced bed n breakfast - Favorite hotel in 45 states of travel. Lexihill was cozy and romantic. Amenities worked. Accommodating and friendly owners/staff. Comfy linens, pillows, beds and temperature. Clean. It was what you might find in a nice bed n breakfast place for high dollar. They pay attention to little details that other hotels miss. I was very happy, and I will definitely be back to stay longer! This international bestselling author n company highly recommends Lexihill over the franchise brands, by far.

- Jeff (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable room. It got off to a slow start when I arrived to check in. I had to ring the bell at the front desk three times, then call the hotel from the lobby to get someone to help me. The room was very clean and comfortable. One down side - the hotel doesn’t subscribe to ESPN on its satellite service, so I had to rely on WiFi and connect my laptop to the TV to see the Chiefs-Rams game on Monday Night Football. The hotel offered few amenities, but I needed a bed and a shower while traveling in a out of the way place for business. This hotel provided that nicely.
