• Eleanor (6/5): - Room & amenities: spacious room and bathroom; comfortable bed; air-conditioning was fine. Water dispenser on my room floor was sometimes empty, but overall useful. Lobby had close to zero air-conditioning. The room was not ready by the check-in time stated - we waited at the lobby for approximately 45 minutes for the room to be ready, but it wasn't ideal due to a lack of plug points and stuffiness/heat in the lobby. Lifts were slow. Traffic was audible even after 11pm (our room was on the 7th floor). Shower drainage was slow, and there was no ledge/rack to put our own toiletries/spectacles in the shower area. Duvet/comforter smelled unpleasant, and the side tables were too far away from the bed.

• Hanifa (7/5): - Great location in the center of Bandung. Easy to get around to the touristy places such as Jl. Asia Afrika or Jl. Braga. Rooftop swimming pool was small but was nice enough. I liked that there’s water dispenser in the hallways of the room so I can easily refill my water bottles. The bed was very hard that I had difficult time sleeping. On the first day our towels smelled like cigarette smokes even though we had a non smoking room so the turndown service could use some work. Rooftop bar ambiance was a bit meh.

Having said that it a great place to stay with everything more expensive hotels have but they have kept costs below average and kept superior quantity. Staff is truly one of a kind, menu and food was incredible and large menu options. Pool is unbelievable rooftop infinity pool with restaurant and bar beside the pool.

Room : We should move room from 823 to 1023 Problem : Room AC is broken and can not sleep and we paid high rate because high season for the room Solution : We moved room by re-arrange our luggages 2. Breakfast : Staff not manage well for Customers due to unconsistency service from staff for charging additional cost Solution : We paid for last breakfast from total 3 nights stay after we did direct hard complain to the Manager in charge PIC restaurant Manager : Mr Yogi Even we stayed not as 1st time at this hotel, but having bad experience at this time made us so dissapointed for what the staff did to my family which we always stay at Accor hotels in Indonesia : Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis & All Seasons. I hope by writing this complaint to Accor Group can have a fast feedback from anyone who in charge and urgently need to do evaluation for the hotel perfomance to remind them for service still be prioritize to focus with the Customers especially to the loyal Accor member like us to keep stay at Accor hotel. • erwinelias1975 (6/5): Fundamentals things to improve - I stayed at Mercure City Center for two nights in December 2025. The hotel is situated near Alun Alun Bandung. Being a 4 star hotel and comparing to other Mercure hotels I have visited, Mercure City Center have some fundamentals gap to 4 star hotel standard. Hotel lobby and other public area seems to be very cluttered. Parking space is limited with not enough room for vehicles to manuever in the lobby drop off area. Room size and interior quality is inferior even compared to many 3 star hotels in Bandung I've visited. Hot water is not stable. The worst thing is that most of the staff seems to be clueless about their job. The receptionists, security, concierge. All the confusions on checking in, online food delivery, parking. The positive side of the hotel is room cleanliness, breakfast buffet selection which offers a wide variety of local food, and the rooftop bar and pool view, impressive view both at night and morning. I hope the hotel management can work on some improvement plan.

The room was pretty spacious, with big windows framing views of the city and the mountain. The atmosphere was warm, despite the rain outside. The only problem was slow drainage in the bathroom’s shower area, resulting in water overflowing into the closet area. The brekkie was nice. Traditional dishes and snacks like seblak were also served, which was fun. Anung helped me recommend drinks and dishes to try, and I really appreciated it. (Thank you so much, Kang Anung). And, of course, a stay at Mercure Bandung City Centre was incomplete without a dip into the hotel’s infinity pool. A must-do activity, especially in the morning. (The cold didn’t bother me).

• Agung (8/5): I’d still consider coming back - I really liked staying at this hotel. The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Lengkong Kecil. The room was clean and comfortable, and I got a really nice view from my window. The staff were all friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, even got a welcome drink. There’s also a kids’ pool with a great view, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. The parking area is quite limited. The elevator was also a bit unpredictable, sometimes it came quickly, but other times it took forever. Other than that, the place was fine.

If you are a non smoker do not book a balcony room as the room fills with the smell of cigarette smoke. We found smokers were leaving balcony doors & room doors open & smoke was being sucked into the passage area
• Carolyn (8/5): - Goodish property with nice staff. Probably not ideal if you’re a bule. Roof top pool is lovely but closes at 7pm. It’s adjacent to the bar which is a bit uncomfortable to swim in when there a lot of fully clothed non-bule locals sitting there… $9.50 AUD for one stubbie of local beer. Breakfast offerings were ok but we skipped the second morning as it was dominated by local food and not that appealing to kids. Interestingly initially they didn’t want to honour the part of the booking through Expedia that included breakfast for two rooms but they did in the end (after taking a photo of the booking confirmation from Expedia on my phone). Tried to book a massage in the early afternoon but was told they were full (the advertising in the room says it’s a 24 hour service - either in the hotel or on your room). Might have been a language barrier there? The drain in my shower was open (not sure where the cover went?). Soundproofing needed too. Was quite noisy with the traffic. All of this was in a ‘privilege’ room (on the third floor) too. Beds were comfy (two singles but only one bath robe?). Cute gift shop in the lobby. Purportedly waking distance to the famous Braga Street but the streets are not safely walkable (heavy traffic, uneven footpaths that stop suddenly). Our checkout was at midday and sure enough at 1201pm as we were exiting our room reception was calling to remind us to check out…. Management need to probably chat to the team to ensure things are more seamless.

• 224agusa (10/5): Great location - Stay at Mercure Bandung City Center on July 5–7, 2025 On Saturday, July 5th, although it was the weekend and the reception area was very crowded, the check-in process went smoothly and quickly. The room assigned to us was exactly as we had booked. We were given a room on the 10th floor, and it was clean, tidy, and in excellent condition. Breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, including traditional, national, and international options, with taste quality that met standard hotel expectations. Some notes about this hotel: 1. There are only two elevators, which caused long waits during peak hours such as check-out and breakfast time. 2. The parking space is very limited, making it difficult to find parking—especially if returning late at night. Guests must leave their car keys and use the hotel’s valet service to park. I would stay at this hotel again if I visit Bandung on a weekday, as it would be more comfortable. The location is right in the city center, near Braga, and surrounded by many dining options.

The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again. 👍👍👍🙏🏻🙏🏻

The hotel has friendly staff and good facilities for business and leisure. The breakfast buffet is the highlight offering western and Indonesian breakfast dishes and street food.

• Naif (3/5): Bad experience with the very bad smell - Nice staff 1- they allocated me in a smoking 🚬 level where every single bit smells very bad. They asked me to see the room before i check in but when i did not like it, they told me that they are fully booked so i did not know what the point was! It was executive room. There was no bathrobe. 2- very old carpets at the lobby, lifts, and hallways. They smell very bad. 3- i will definitely not come back here.
• rendyd2025 (10/5): Overall good hotel with few improvements - Nice and cozy room, although i find it odd that handsoap and hand towel are only provided by request (i thought it’s basic hygiene that we wash our hands with soap and dry them with hand towel). I was only provided with 2 toothbrush pack (no shower caps etc). 1 light and mini bar was not working, they fixed it upon request. 2 pillows on the bed + 1 extra in wardrobe. Breakfast was excellent with wide selection, although not enough selection for diabetics. Yogi is friendly and helpful, making sure tables are clean and customers are taken care of

Breakfast offered a good variety, and everything was fresh and tasty. What stood out most was the friendly and attentive service throughout the hotel, from check-in to housekeeping, everyone made me feel welcome. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and excellent value.
