We arrived early and the personnel told us the room was not ready at that time (which ia reasonable). However, we arrived three hours later at the check-in time and the room still was not ready.

Gissell (10/5): - Our stay at Laurentia was everything we needed and more. The location was great because it was walkable, there were plenty of convenience stores, pharmacies, places to eat and places to shop nearby. The National Hospital is also a 20 minute walk and super easy to get to (we were visiting family). The room itself was beautiful, a little on the small side and it had what we needed. Our room did not have a hair-dryer or clothing iron but we were able to get it from our concierge without an issue. The breakfast was delicious - the presentation and taste were on point. A special shoutout to our concierge and do it all man, Alejandro. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible and was super knowledgeable about the area. He was also super helpful whenever we reached out for help and he was always ready with a kind word when we saw him on the grounds - he is a star and Laurentia is lucky to have him.

Cristian (6/5): - Cuando se llegó al chekeo no encontraban la reservación que se hizo y se había pagado, nos tuvieron 20 minutos en la recepción ya que no tenían registro de la reserva ni del pag, le tuvimos que enseñar del celular del pago de la tarjeta del mensaje de dónde habíamos reservado y los preguntaban cuando habíamos hecho la compra, un poco mala recepción, al final a los 20 minutos después y después de hacerlos varias preguntas nos dieron las llaves. Kyung Hoon (2/5): - Spiders and cockroach in the room. Rarely there's someone at the front desk. Hotel tried to charge extra for having some visitors come over just during the day. We had to even call the police bc the hotel was trying to kick us when we explained the situation that they are just visiting for a moment and not staying to sleep. This hotel tries to scam foreigners so if you are not able to speak spanish fluently and solve the situations with the the local law enforcements, I strongly suggest you to look for another hotel.

Irvin (2/5): - I stayed at this property a couple months ago over and I loved it, I re-booked it thinking I would feel that same cozy magic I felt this time. When I got to my check in, there was no one upfront and someone told me to just have a sit until the main person came in, they gave me the key and went into the room. Room was okay, you could hear everyone, employees laugh on the hallway and talk, the next door family was very loud. Hot water did not work at all but I didn't make a big deal out of it. On my last day when I woke up, there was 2 beg bugs crawling on me and I saw there was 2 dots of blood in the bed, I knew I had been bitten. The little 2 bugs were crawling down my arm and at that point I just wanted to get up and leave. Went to the shower and to my surprise there was no running water, went to the front office and told them and they looked at me crazy and the only explanation I got was we will check but feel free to have breakfast. The breakfast crew and the meal itself was actually very nice. Came back to the front and asked if the issue was resolved and the gentlemen at the front said "not sure because the water works in every room" and I mentioned about the water not being hot all he said was "oh im sorry" so came back to the room, water was coming out but with low pressure going in and out and I just showered and let it go, didn't want to continue any conversation with no one there because I felt they didn't care. Sadly I won't be back.

Cons - Everything else. To start with, picture on Orbitz or misleading. In real life it does not reassemble the pictures at all. Regardless of cleaning, the furniture are very basic. Bed side cabinets are just simple plywood painted in white. Walls need urgent painting. Shower head is old, shower basin tap was wobbling all over the place and need maintenance. Air condition was good but super noisy - That much I couldn't sleep with it on. Main door is old and (again) need maintenance - closed only with some decent force. And finally, breakfast was just tasteless :( If feel sorry to write those comments as the people there are super friendly, but for my next visit I will pick another hotel.

Excellent location, especially if you want to have a nice gastronomic experience or visit the famous Cadejo brewery, just across the street.The breakfast area has nice views in the backyard garden.

Location is really good, it’s safe and nice restaurants around 2. The staff are friendly 3. The food is pretty good 4. The back yard area is pretty with a good view 5. The price is what you expect for what the rooms ACTUALLY look like (not in the pictures) Now the Bad: 1. The cleaning staff went through our luggage more than once. 2. Front desk security at night is pointless because they were sleeping behind the counter 3. Door security to your room is basically nothing 4. We only got one hot shower, one warm shower and the rest were cold as hell 5. Toilets don’t flush, had to flush 3-4 times (no joke) 6. Had them wash our cloths, a lot of them came back with grease streaks on them P.S. when we arrived it was dark out so we weren’t able to get a feel of our surroundings. So when we walked past the basically sleeping front staff, given a key to a $9.00 door lock you wouldn’t even put on a shed, walk into a room that looks NOTHING like the pictures…you get kinda scared. P.S.S With all that said, after being there for two solid weeks, it is a very safe place and Zona Rosa is very ritzy for El Salvador. After climatizing for a couple days…we had no worries

Paul (10/5): Great choice in a great neighbirhood - This property has seen some upgrades since my last visit and all for the better. Property overall is very clean, the checkin is fast and accommodated our arrival six hours before normal checkin with no problem, and is in a great safe location with an excellent choice of restaurants and bars in the immediate area.. We had arranged with the hotel for a 3am ride to the airport and it was perfect. Overall a great hotel choice in San Salvador. The only thing needing improvement is the wifi. No problem connecting to the wifi and it worked well but too slow for streaming. Overall a great place to stay. .
Valentin (4/5): - There is a disco nearby, so we cannot sleep very well. Staff is asking money for the breakfast although was included. You have to beg for towels...The finishings in the room and bathroom are 1* and not 3.5* as advertised. If you can avoid do it, it is worth paying a bit more and not staying here. Beds were good !

Oscar (2/5): - Very busy street during the day and 2 Discotheques within 300 feet fthe the property that are very loud that I could hear the music from my room. I couldn't sleep so the next morning I complained to the attendant but he couldn't do anything because there was no manager on site until Monday, I went back to get a refund and the same attendant told me that there was no manager and He didn't know when he was going to be in. Rooms have torn carpets, shaddy bathroom repairs, walls that you can hear your next door neighbor, No on-site manager, unsufficient room doors security, dated furniture, hallways torn carpets and blaring Discotheques music Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Pictures on the site are deceiving. I have pictures to prove my review on this property
Leticia Geraldina (8/5): - The staff very friendly. Excellent location close to restaurants and the city. Clean facility. Great Parking with security 24/7. The hotel is kind of old, need upgrades. Rooms clean but ok. Will stay there next time.
