The room was lovely and big and had everything we could wish for. In addition, we were celebrating my daughter's recent remission from Cancer and also my birthday and they left us some treats to celebrate which was a lovely and thoughtful thing to do and was very much appreciated. - James (9/5): Cozy Amish vibes nestled in bustling Sarasota. - Bathtubs are available at the property on request. The reception staff was very quick to organise this once it was mentioned. The atmosphere of the property is very relaxed and slower paced, really reflecting the values of the Amish owners. The blinds in the rooms are good but not 100% blackout, so a little light comes through in the morning. It doesn't bother myself or my partner who are deep sleepers but it might others.

We were offered fresh cookies, given recommendations for dinner and personally showed to the elevators. Our room was large, clean and quiet. Beds comfy. Our breakfast was included, which was buffet loaded with fresh baked goods and fresh eggs, meats, cereal and the usual breakfast drinks. It was good. Thank you for a wonderful stay. It was pretty perfect!

- 2timj (10/5): What an Amazing Place - What an Amazing Place. My wife and I stayed here for four nights on our recent vacation to the Sarasota area. I cannot begin to say enough good things about this amazing place. The staff is warm, friendly and professional. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcome. The facilities and rooms are clean, very well maintained and comfortable. The pool/hot tub area relaxing and refreshing. The breakfast was wonderful and a great way to start the day. Access to the Legacy Trail, right next door was a bonus was well. The location far enough from things to be quite and relaxing, but close enough that Siesta Key Beach and St. Armands Circle an easy drive. A big shout out to Janet and the entire staff, you all hit it out of the park. We will definitely return.

- Michael (10/5): - This is an exceptional hotel, the space and atmosphere are so peaceful and relaxing. The staff are amazing, welcoming and warm, very keen to help with a friendly smile. The facilities are first rate, and it's so clean throughout, definitely a hidden gem just off the main route. The only negative we had was that booking.com and the hotel have a difference in room facilities, in as much as despite what's advertised, a queen room does not have a pool view. The manager on duty helped us with our enquiry in a calm and professional manner.

True to its amish/mennonite roots, its next to a mennonite community, the next door restaurant is PA dutch style. Free breakfast includes hot options and enough choice for a family.

- Magellan65 (10/5): Wonderful Stay. - Highly recommend the Carlisle Inn. It is so clean, and the staff is always smiling and really nice. The breakfast is good and love that there is free coffee all the time. Housecleaning was always done perfectly. The Carlisle is so convenient to downtown Sarasota and to Siesta Key and St Armand’s Circle and just jumping on I-75. It seemed that everywhere we went was only a 15 min drive. Appreciated the simple Amish decor and pictures and homemade furniture. Everything was great.

El trato del personal es muy bueno, y el desayuno aunque algo repetitivo, bastante completo. Parking gratuito. Y relativamente cerca de muchos puntos de interés en coche. Tienes que marcar cada día en una tarjeta que quieres que hagan en la habitación al día siguiente, por ejemplo: cambio de toallas y las camas, o limpieza completa, o nada.

- PT45 (9/5): Tolles Hotel mit schöner Ausstattung - Die Inneneinrichtung des gesamten Hotels und die großen Flure waren sehr beindruckend. Ebenso die großen Zimmer und das Bad. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war das Personal am Empfang. Die gesamte Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig und angenehm. Das Frühstück hatte sehr wenig auswahl und war qualitativ nicht hochwertig. Das scheint in den meisten US-Hotels aber der Standard zu sein.

- Elizabeth (10/5): One of the friendliest, loveliest hotels we have ever stayed in, would definitely stay again. - It had very spacious rooms, absolutely spotless, the staff were so friendly & helpful. It’s an Amish hotel so no bar to sit & wind down at the end of the day but that’s the only thing which we didn’t mind but didn’t realise before we booked

- rosekM3993UC (10/5): Wonderful Place to Stay in Sarasota! - We have been coming to Sarasota for the past 5 years for Spring Training to see the Orioles play. We have gone to several hotels to stay and have finally found the perfect accommodation - Carlisle Inn. As other reviews have stated, this inn is super clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is very good with a great variety of options, and the room is spacious with bed and pillows being very comfortable. The pool is sparkling clean with a good amount of lounge chairs. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will be back next year! Thank you for an amazing stay!!

L'accueil est d'une gentillesse rare, tout est très propre et lumineux. J'ai adoré cet endroit. J'y serai bien restée plus longtemps. Le petit plus, les cookies pour le goûter... Rien
