• pengfei (5/5): - close to downtown There was no water, and I thought there was no water to drink. Turns out, there was no water for showering, no water to flush the toilet. The toilet was piled high with toilet paper, feces, and urine. The cleanliness wasn't great. Plus, there were city taxes and travel taxes to pay, so the actual price was twice what was shown on Booking.com.

Jika nak demand itu ini, cari hotel yang boleh duduk seorang diri - untuk tumpang sekejap, memang sesuai. saya memang nak berehat sahaja. sebelum sambung perjalanan pada hari esoknya. airond on pada pukul 7 malam hingga esok paginya. Untuk perempuan Islam, kena pandai-pandai jaga aurat untuk ke tandas yang berada di luar bilik. nak solat boleh tapi ruang terhad. selagi mana tiada ahli lain yang buat bising, ok sahaja. ada air coway/cuckoo untuk minum. jika dapat ruang di bahagian atas, struggle sikit nak kena naik ke tilam. kalau berbadan besar, kesian juga nak panjat naik atas. bayaran jika duduk di ruang bawah atau atas sama sahaja. ada juga seorang yang merungut suhu aircond sejuk. padahal ok sahaja. selimut diberi. guna la selimut tu. aircond hala ke ruang umum sahaja, jika dalam ruang tilam masing-masing, kena tunggu circulation juga. itu masalah individu itu sahaja. dah bayar murah tapi demand lebih.

• Eva (6/5): A bit disappointing - The location was the best about this place. It's very close to the Gaya night market. I could check in late at almost midnight, contacting them on whatsapp beforehand. That was good. After that, I've never had any contact with the staff again. I didn't even get a key for the locker and only found out that I should have gotten one on my last day. It's not very clean, the bathroom, the fridge... the mattress is so thin you think you sleep on the floor. There's no toilet paper and not even a bin in the ladies toilet. I stayed three nights and then changed to a different hostel in KK. I know I can't expect much for that price but somehow I didn't feel comfortable in this place.

• Moujan (5/5): - La ubicación esta bien. Las instalaciones estab bien. Se puede cocinar y me senti comodo. El.personal duerme todo el dia y no hay a veces a quien acudir. Ellos se levantan por la noche y hacen mucho ruido roda la noche. A veces ellos duermen mientras las habitaciones estan sucias y los botes de basura llenos de basura. Falta limpieza. No cambian las sabanas cuando cambian los huespedes.
• Hanil Fikri A.G (7/5): One of the Cheapest in Town. You Got What You Paid - 1. Location. Very central. Everything is within walking distance. 2. Provided with a locker with a key under your dorm bed. 3. Good hostel ambience and a balcony are a bonus. 4. Basic sharing bath and toilet with acceptable water pressure. 5. Sharing pantry and spacious eating area (You can also eat on the balcony). 6. Comfy dorm bed & pillow. Blanket and towel provided. 1. Space is limited. Very hard for Muslims to conduct daily prayer. 2. During my stay, my locker was broken. No issue since I only stay for 6 hours of sleep. 3. Cubicle size, I think a bit small, but acceptable with the price.

• Sabaruddin (6/5): Suitable for those looking a cheap budget hostel. - Probably easy access to any places for hang out. You don't need to pay for deposit during check in time. Toilet was too small for big size people.

• Ana Sofia (4/5): Sujidade e desordem - A água filtrada e a localização. Havia bastante sujidade nas casas-de-banho e no chão . O staff era simpático mas sentia-se que não sabiam o que responder sempre que lhes pedia algo, até mesmo por um simples papel higiénico, ficavam todos atrapalhados. Além disso, não era possível controlar o ar condicionado, pelo que passei muito frio durante a noite (e as cortinas, sendo curtas, também não protegem). Só consegui ficar uma noite.

My towel also got stolen. Wonder who’d steal my smelly shoes& socks & towel covered with my snot(cought bad flu for the last 2days there).

• Ja (1/5): goodbye - when you open the door for the reception, please pay attention to the floor because there will be some cat pee and you may step on it and drag the urine spread all the floor and you can smell such a real pee until a while for someone to clean which is not that clean. The toilet doesn't work properly and there is no lock door inside and smell so bad. The kitchen is suck. There is no air flow inside the room

• Shoshannah (1/5): I couldn't stand more than 5m, I checked out from stench - Staff seemed friendly in our brief interaction. As soon as I arrived, it stank. Like a mouldy building. I checked in and saw the room. Same story. No A/C (which is fine I just hasn't noticed) but the worst was just the smell. I couldn't handle it. I went out immediately to find another place nearby. I checked out right after. I couldn't handle the stench of the building.

Awesome air conditioning. Shower and toilet could have been more cleaner and well maintained. No elevator to haul luggages up Some of the lights are not working.

If u can effort better mattress.. i could be even better. The toilet are spacious and consider enough to cater such occupied guest. The stay are not muslim friendly... • Carla (8/5): Very good - Great location on a main street, next to a night market and close to Gaya Street. The dorm has AC and there are privacy curtains, sockets, and individual lights on every bed. Lockers available. Towel provided. Wifi worked really well. There's a kitchen available. The bathroom was really dirty and rundown. One of the toilets didn't flush and the door to one of the stalls didn't lock. It just looked really gross. No toilet paper or hand soap provided. There was the usual sign saying don't flush toilet paper or sanitary products but there were no trash cans in the bathroom so what are you supposed to do...? The included breakfast was just plain white bread for you to toast, and on my last morning the bread had run out and they didn't replace it so there was no breakfast at all. I saw a huge cockroach in the dorm room and another one on the balcony. I had to ask them to empty the small trash can in the dorm because it was literally overflowing with trash on the floor and if I didn't say anything no one would come to empty it. Rude guests turning on the overhead light in the dorm at 5 or 6 in the morning, which woke me up every day so I didn't get very good sleep. Staff were almost never at the front desk so I couldn't ask questions (just a whatsapp number provided).

The waterfront and ferry going for Island hopping. Night market just below the hostel. Clean bed sheets and towel

They even said that it was my fault for leaving them outside along with all the others, when the person who received me never told me to bring them in for safety. thieves, they cover each other because a lot of people seem to live there

• Hoo (3/5): Poor - Was told ahead of time that due to renovations our stay was scheduled to go to a different location. I did ask for photos from the unit concerned for reference but what we actually saw was not the same as the photos. The main reason was that the towels and other items used by the backpackers were not dried properly, causing the room to be a bit damp and smelly. The overall experience was a bit uncomfortable.
