• Joanna (10/5): Perfect Place - We loved the welcoming call from lovely Liz; Thank you so much. Apartment was beautifully maintained, and in a super position. There was nothing we didn't like. A little suggestion, we were unable to sit on the the settee side of the beautiful balcony, as the air conditioning unit gave out so much heat, it was really uncomfortable. For 2 people, the 2 chairs were perfect , so maybe a small table and chairs, for outdoor eating could be an option. Thank you for our lovely stay. Joanna and Mick

• Wayne (8/5): Great location, very comfortable & clean but need to streamline check in process - The studio was in the perfect location (within the Peppers on Blue resort), right next to the Ferry Terminal at Nelly Bay. I was concerned that it might be noisy but it was actually really peaceful (having said that my visit was during the summer which I’m told is low season). The studio was very comfortable & clean & had everything we needed for our 2 night stay, although it’s looking tired in places (eg shower cubicle, bathroom sink). The TV had several streaming options built in (we used Apple TV) though the remote control was very slow to respond (? New batteries needed). There were several places to eat within walking distance (we ate at Granite which was very good) & there’s an IGA & bottle shop opposite. Whilst we didn’t use it , there was a lovely pool area available to use. Lizzie was full of helpful advice /suggestions. There was a major confusion about how to access the property, causing a lot of unnecessary anxiety (I was actually starting to look at alternatives it was so tight). Whilst Lizzie, the host, had attempted to call me & sent a Whats App message, these were not received by me & my calls to her went unanswered. I don’t understand why there were any issues in contacting me as I’ve not had any other issues in over 4 weeks of travelling around Australia. I would add that I sent several messages to the property (via Booking) well before travelling & the night before, all but one of which went unanswered. Perhaps the host should make greater use of the Booking.com messaging function & emails with check in details sent well in advance (I’ve already got the check in details for a property I’ve booked for over a week away) which other accommodation hosts have used. The kitchen area was well equipped, but the fridge was very small & did not have a freezer section, only an ice box. If we’d been staying for longer the lack of a freezer would have been a problem. The only lighting in the lounge section of the studio was harsh overhead lighting or under shelf spotlights by the kitchen area; a small lamp in this area would make a big difference to the ambiance . There was no spare toilet roll provided (whilst this is self catering, all the other self catering places we have stayed in have provided a small selection of goods to get us started, including several toilet rolls) & no shower mat was provided. The listed hairdryer was also missing & the safe deposit box looked as if it was broken. Whilst it is outside the control of the host, people should be aware that there is only 1 lift that only goes to the second floor (the property is on the third floor).
• Brooklyn (10/5): Absolutely fantastic! - The location truly couldn’t have been more perfect for our stay. We were close to everything we needed, shops, transport links, and local attractions, which made getting around incredibly easy and added so much convenience to our trip. From the moment we arrived, Lizzie was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She very kindly allowed us to store our bags before check-in, which made a huge difference after travelling and meant we could start enjoying our day straight away without any hassle. The room itself was perfect, spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the facilities were excellent. You can really tell how much care and effort Lizzie puts into making sure her guests feel at home. On top of all that, Lizzie was incredibly accommodating when we asked if we could stay an extra night. She was more than happy to help and made the whole process effortless. Her hospitality and flexibility were genuinely outstanding. We honestly can’t recommend staying with Lizzie highly enough. She is an exceptional host and made our trip so much more enjoyable. If we return to the area, there is no question, we will definitely be staying with Lizzie again. We’ll also be recommending her place to all our family and friends. nothing, everything was perfect!

She gave us a detailed run through of everything. Providing us with her mobile number and asked us to call if we need anything at all. The room was very clean , comfy bed, toiletries provided, kitchen well equiped, washing machine, location, under cover parking. There was nothing not to like. It was the perfect weekend get away

Sie hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Die gesamte Wohnanlage ist sehr schön gepflegt und der riesige Pool in der Nähe der Hammer. Ein Geschirrspüler wäre nett.

• Tonia (10/5): Fabulous! - Excellent location; close to the ferry and bus services. IGA right across the road and in walking distance to cafes if you chose not to eat at Peppers Resort. The room was very comfortable, relaxing and I had an excellent view across the marina. My phone reception made it difficult to speak to the agent on arrival, but we got through. At the resort there was no poolside bar, so it made it a long way to go for drinks by the pool if you didn't take your own (with a plastic cup). Also, you need to walk back to the toilets by the resort bar to access toilet facilities. The staff at the resort could be a little friendlier too!

A big thumbs up for Lizzie - This is a private rental in peppers, and check-in was a breeze with our fabulous manager of the rental Lizzie. She couldn't do enough for us, and made our stay wonderful. We left the island knowing we had made a friend as we bumped into her a number of times travelling around the island. The property was lovely and quiet.

Nära till färjan, bussen som åker över ön, mataffär och stränder samt många gångstigar på ön. Det enda som saknades var tillgång till tvättmaskin på nära avstånd samt en liten pentry i lägenheten (bestick, skålar, tallrikar, glas finns).

• Dr (10/5): Amazing Stay - Helpful Host & Perfect Location. - From start to finish, our stay was fantastic. Lizzy contacted me before our arrival via email and phone to explain how to catch the airport shuttle bus from Townsville Domestic Airport to the ferry terminal, including ferry times and prices - such a thoughtful touch that made everything super smooth. She even met us on Magnetic Island and walked with us to the apartment, which was just a short distance away – it felt like a bit of class being personally chaperoned! Once there, Lizzy gave us a great intro to the apartment and loads of useful tips about events and transport on the island. The apartment itself was large, clean, and had everything we needed - even a washing machine, which came in handy due to the treks on the island. The local supermarket and bottle-o are just a stone’s throw away, and the 24-hour reception looked after our luggage on our final day so we could squeeze in another trip around the island. Magnetic Island is amazing, and without listing every single thing in the apartment, I can say everything was absolutely spot on. We'd love the chance to return. Many thanks! 😊

• Wendy (8/5): So peaceful and relaxing with the biggest pool I've ever seen. - The location is excellent, the pool is amazing, the view from the balcony was very relaxing and we spent a lot of time out there admiring the view. We enjoyed that we didn't have to go to the front desk and everything was explained to us before arrival. The bus system is amazing, so easy to get around and so affordable, no need to hire a car. We didn't realize there was no kitchen, washing dishes was a bit awkward in the bucket and very limited bench space to prepare anything.

The apartment had a lovely view, nice to watch the boats coming in and out. The apartment is located in Peppers which has amazing options of pools - the one closest to the apartment was great to get the afternoon sun (and very quiet) and the large one great in the mornings. Liz was also super communicative and responsive! Really enjoyed our stay.

• Michelle (10/5): Absolute Waterfront - absolutely!! - Lizzie met us as soon as the ferry arrived and took us to the accommodation which was fantastic (this is a privately owned apartment within Peppers Blue on Blue). We stayed in their larger studio which was spotless and is equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine. It has amazing views of the harbour from the balcony, the pools are great, the IGA and bottleshop are just a few steps away, and the bus around the island is just $1 for the day!! We loved Magnetic Island - a little hidden treasure. We can't wait to go back. Nothing ... oh apart from having to leave.

Thoroughly recommend as a base for exploring Magnetic Island - This studio apartment is excellent, very clean, big comfortable bed & well equipped kitchen area & comfortable sofa. Good WiFi. Lovely balcony too. Location is great & easy access to all sights & ferry. Used the buses - they are so convenient & inexpensive. Supermarket & bottle shop is opposite & some great cafes & coffee kart only a few steps away.

• Sibella (10/5): A beautiful location with stunning views and amenities. Located directly next to one of the two pools on the properties - The location is amazing! Stunning view of the marina and close to everything you could ever need. Ferry terminal is across the road and IGA directly behind it. The apartment itself was beautiful. It has fantastic amenities and is spotless and thoroughly cleaned and maintained exceptionally well. Plenty of appliances are available within the apartment as well as beach towels to use throughout your stay. It is located directly next to one of the two pools on the property and situated in a quiet and secluded area. Lizzie who is the main contact person for the apartments was amazing! She is warm and welcoming, and truly cares for her job and wants to make your stay a great one. Anytime I contacted Lizzie her response time was fantastic and she was extremely accomodating to my requests. It is my second time staying at Absolute Waterfront Apartments and it is safe to say this is the only place I will stay whenever I visit the island. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone interested!!

The apartment is part of the Peppers resort but is managed separately by Lizzie, the host, who was really great with communication and gave us detailed instructions as to how to find the place. The apartment itself is just amazing - the views from the balcony are incredible, all of the furniture both inside and outside is extremely comfortable, and the place had everything we could possibly need for our 2 night stay as a couple. The bath is lovely and huge, and the shower was also great. We were even able to do a load of washing which was super helpful as we are travelling around a lot! The location is great, the building is immediately on your left as you leave the ferry (no long walk with the suitcases!) and there are various buses which stop right outside and take you to other parts of the island. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area, thank you so much Lizzie!! Nothing :)

The appartment offers everything you need, including an amazing view over a small harbour and a part of the island. Lizzie, the manager, contacted us prior to our arrival, to make sure we will have easy access to the room and the parking garage. She was also very supportive during our stay and the check-out. Overall much appreciated from our end, We can only recommend this place, if you are looking for an amazing place to stay during your visit of Magnetic Island. Nothing to mention here.

The resort is really clean and tidy with a massive pool. Absolute waterfront was an absolute joy to be in. Beautifully furnished and comfortable with a huge balcony that has excellent seating to stretch out on for enjoying the views. Large bathroom with a powerful shower and a bath. Good wifi. Very well supplied kitchen. We can't fault anything at all as for us it was perfect. Wished we could stay longer in this apartment and on Magnetic Island as it's a great relaxing place to spend time.

• Patricia (5/5): Anniversary Weekend in Magnetic Island - The view, the location, comfortable furniture, use of Peppers Resort facilities. Poor initial communication leading to confusion over access, keys, etc. Lift was Out of Service upon our arrival & remained so throughout our entire stay.
