Guest Reviews
- Bernadeth (6/5): - I only stay 1night with my fam. It’s so expensive is not worth it. 🙂
- Eralyn San Luis (10/5): - What a charming hotel! We had a very lovely stay. Very spacious and modern room, free parking, breakfast and wifi.
Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
- Sheila (4/5): - Hot rooms. Thermostat set at 23 degrees celcius-- can't be changed to suit guests' desired room temperature. I was told that aircon was centralised. What's the use of the thermostat control in the rooms??? They provided 2 standing fans-- one of them was taped together (falling apart). Water dispenser on the 2nd flr was broker-- had to go to the 3rd flr to refill water jug. Buffet breakfast only served local Filipino food-- no international breakfast option. Hotel experience in the hotel was not worth the money.
- Sheila (4/5): - The fridge was working then stopped working overnight. My aunt's eye drops that needed to be kept in cool storage were compromised overnight.
My aunt also ordered o.elet for breakfast. The cook forgot to make it. The coffee dispenser ran out of milk then ran out of coffee. There was a long queue of guests waiting for coffee.
- Mary Grace (10/5): - The rooms are big, the bathroom is nice and looks luxurious. The staff are courteous and very helpful. The beds are big and nice.
- Clarisse (8/5): - Wonderful staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was upgraded but not really necessary. Room is very large. Free breakfast is superb. Needs some updating with color. Tub is too high, not senior friendly.
- Nhel Patrick (6/5): - The hotel has cockroaches and very bad smell in the room. Although the staff were very friendly.
- Yvonne (2/5): - Being our dad in the hospital for weeks, Me and my sister decided to book 2 rooms to relax and spend time with family to celebrate ny nephew’s birthday. We bought food however we notice that there are no utensils included in the bag, so.. we called and request for utensils.. 2 person knocks on our door (housekeeping and security) to hand the utensils, however both kept looking and very obviously peeking inside the room! take note: this is only around 8-8:30 in the evening.. not even 5 minutes, the Front desk agent called and ask how many are in the room. They probably forgot that we booked 2 rooms and just currently having dinner in one of the rooms. i’ve stayed in many hotels so i am very much familiar with the rules.. We are extremely dissapointed on the action of the staff.. where is the privacy? Our supposedly “relaxation” became a nightmare as they ruined our mood!
- Kevin (8/5): - Staff was always ready to assist and make accomidations within reason. My wife is handicapped and as much as possible they accomidated her by providing various accomidations to help he navigate our room more easily, and to accomidate her preferences for breakfast making breakfast to order each day was greatly appriciated.
- Kevin (10/5): - Very nice roof top pool. Nice large airy rooms. Breakfast on site.
- RALPH (8/5): - Cockroach in bathroom. No hot water in second reser
- Enrico (10/5): - The rooms are very spacious. Good variety of choices for the included breakfast. Helpful staff. The location is basically at a strip mall, but easy driving distance to nearby beaches and attractions. Recommended if you’re ok not being at a waterfront.
- Rene (10/5): - This hotel is truly charming as it is appropriately named. The room was excellently cozy. For me, the best hotel for the price in subic. Definitely will check in here again.
- Jeck (10/5): - Great place
- Noel (8/5): - I enjoyed staying here. Staff was always helpful and accommodating. Always on the go so wasn’t able to try their breakfast menu. Most places do not open till 9 and they close at 8-9 so, don’t be in a rush and make sure you eat dinner before 8. (I was there for the Christmas holiday so that could have played a factor on business time.) if I’m ever in olongapo again I would stay at this hotel again!
And yea… AC works great in the room!!
- Spencer (8/5): - Starbucks and McDonald's within 2 min walk
- Elsie (10/5): - Nice local get away
- Elsie (10/5): - Nice place to stay
- Robert W (6/5): Our last stay there. - Our usual hotel in Subic was booked so we stayed in Charme Suites for the second time. Same experience though: nothing feels clean in this hotel. There are stains and scuffs everywhere, on the wallpaper, the floor, the mirror was dirty, the lampshade the towels thin and yellow. It's all run down. They tried to charge us for third set of pillows and a third set of towels, when we had clearly booked the room for three people, the third being our 6-year old son. I protested and they "waived" the charges. In sum, I think it was our last time to stay there.
- Robert (8/5): Overdue for a make-over. - Large comfortable rooms and bathrooms, but everything has stains, and consequently it does not feel clean at all: the carpet, the wallpaper, the lamp shades, the chaise lounge, the curtains, all are stained. This place needs a serious and thorough make-over. Staff is courteous and pleasant. Pool is great but quite busy. Breakfast was a big disappointment: very little assortment and the food has zero taste. Fortunately there is a Starbucks practically next door. Overall, not worth the room rate. Hotel needs to up its game considerably to justify this room rate.
- Steven (2/5): - Horrible experience. We literally had to clean the whole room and spray disinfectant to ensure our safety. The doors and walls were filthy and moulds around the sink. It was also one of the most expensive place to stay in subic so we were expecting an above average room but we ended up having a sub par acceptable accommodation. The only good thing is the friendly staff.
- Gladys (10/5): - The best!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 위치도 찾기 쉽고 시설 모두 기대 이상이었는데 청결 상태가 조금 안좋았어요. 침대에 먼지가 좀 많이 묻어 있었고, 화장실에도 머리카락이 많이 떨어져 있었습니다.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rooftop pool is nice though lights dont work in the pool or on the rooftop so 6 pm means its dark. Also no bar or restaurant which is a complete waste of a beautiful opportunity.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very accessible. Near the duty free.
- KillyKunimoto (10/5): - it's unique hotel particularity made for Triathlete in mind, of course , it is great hotel to stay for anyone. Bathtub is super clean deep tub. It's great after the race just relax your body. Hotel provide you a shuttle bus to race start which is one of big problem if you don't have a car in Subic. I highly recommend to for this hotel for Triathletes and all other sports events people
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very accommodating staff. accessible to all.buffet breakfast was great. ideal for family
- Niney (10/5): - Toddler-friendly hotel. The room was really big with a lot of space for a toddler to run around. We also appreciated the toddler play area set up at the 3rd floor. The pool was also very nice with clean water and just the right temperature. I hope the hotel can maintain its current state in the long term. Will definitely book this hotel again when we visit Subic. Highly recommended!
- Peter (8/5): Simple and yet elegant - It was great, very kid friendly. Convenient to almost several destinations.
- Jan (10/5): Heaven in subic - Amazing, relaxing stay with plenty of activities for the kids
- Verified traveler (10/5): Le Charme Stay - The room was great and clean. It has a big TV. The hotel has only 4 floors only which makes the place quite quiet. On the rooftop is the pool where you can watch film viewings. On the groundfloor of the same building as the hotel are establishments. One in particular is the Teppan101 restaurant. A Japanese restaurant where a chef cooks front of you and do exhibitions with their cooking utensils. You also get a 10% discount because if one is a hotel guest. There's also a free jacuzzi service from the SPA establishment
- Manuel (8/5): - Is a pretty good hotel for the price. We did have to request assistance to connect to the wifi several times. Never was able to get a usable username-password combination.
- Mitch (8/5): - Nice hotel and staffs are friendly.
- Abby (8/5): Recommended - The place is great and I would recommend it. The outside needs some TLC as it’s located in a shopping mall.
- Frankie (10/5): - Didn't expect the room to be so nice (clean, modern and very chic). Very charming indeed. Appreciated also the small playarea on our floor for our toddlers. Good location too. Breakfast buffet could use some more choices though. But overall we had a very pleasant stay. Definitely coming back.
- Ac (10/5): - Le Charme is a new bike friendly hotel in Subic catering to cyclists with a rooftop pool, large rooms, and accommodating friendly staff. I enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
- Emilio G (8/5): new boutique hotel in Subic Bay - Stayed for two nights at this property during a recent convention. Rooms were spacious. Sleep comfort is great. Staff were courteous and hospitable. Breakfast spread was ok, though varied, it would have been better if they focused on 'breakfast menu', rather than food choices that could be considered lunch or dinner fare. Wifi was ok.
All in all, i would recommend this property
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bad experience - Front desk staffs were very inefficient and not helpful. The entire hotel has 1 cart to carry luggages and it was offered to a customer with 2 small bags while we are a big family with a sleeping toddler on hand. I guess they preferred for us to make several trips to go up to the room & down to the lobby. Mind you, we booked 2 rooms. We have to give credit to the man in tracksuit, who was out of nowhere jumped out & offered to help with the luggages. Staffs also assumed we speak the native language?! Phone and internet system were also not in service. Once we made the staffs awarded, they had to reboot the whole system and everything started to work magically. The next room also had loud music past midnight. The sound proofing definitely needs improvement. The breakfast did not have yogurt nor any kinds of juice!?? We came all the way from the States to this tropical country and they did not even have the basic stuffs. The whole experience was just disappointed.
- Luis (10/5): - Since it's new, it is EXCELLENT in most aspects except for the Breakfast (not value for money).
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Big room with comfy and huge bed. An irritating sound coming from the exhaust ceiling of the bath room.
- Mase (8/5): Comfortable modern hotel - I arrived super early in the morning before sunrise, and while it took a little bit to get things settled, I was pleased with the staff and the accommodations. I was able to immediately sleep and rest from a long flight from San Francisco. I really like the rooftop pool and lounge area, which made the stay feel more luxurious. Breakfast was great as well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice hotel, friendly very helpful staff. - We had a great stay , the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful , there was no questions they could not handle ,even a guest like myself looking for the ice machine haha. For the lady's we were close to dutyfree shopping but not so close to everything else. That's it only a short cab ride away is not bad but with the hotel van outside it sould be available for the short rides , I have been all over the Philippines and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed so over all I would highly recommend Le Charme suites to all. Ken
- Mel (8/5): A hidden gem in Subic Bay Freeport Zone - Le Charme Suites is our family's wonderful discovery in Subic Freeport Zone. Located just beside the main Royal Duty Free shop, it's a fairly new hotel which seeks to provide a luxury accomodation to its guests at a more reasonable price. Last Dec. 27-29, 2017, we stayed at Room 306, a Deluxe Twin room, that is amazingly huge! Our group of 3 adults and 1 child comfortably fits the two queen sized beds and the very spacious bathroom.
Check-in was swift. Kudos to Alvin who called me up the night before to confirm our reservation. Beverly of F.O. was efficient in handling our inquiries. Thank you to the staff, especially Charlie and Richard, who made our stay more comfortable, as well as to the hotel manager for the gift and personal note for our son's birthday.
One of the hotel's main atteactions is the Game of Thrones set up at the lobby. Another is the decent sized lap pool with luxe lounge beds. Meanwhile, the breakfast buffet at Mi Tapas, though, with limited selection, was delicious and filling. Finally, the hotel corridors and lift were unbelievably big.
We'll definitely come back here for another staycation. Just please ensure that the hotel facilities are well-maintained, and additional well-trained staff are put in place.
- Jessie (10/5): - Clean and cozy hotel. Near to amenities.
- Rosamunde (8/5): Comfortable Hotel with Friendly Staff - Our hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The best thing about our hotel stay was the nice hotel staff who were all very friendly and accommodating. Each staff went out of their way to always greet the guests and accommodate their requests as best they can. The breakfast buffet provided sufficient variety and the rooftop pool offered a peaceful respite as well as amazing views of the city. Our stay at Le Charme was very pleasant and comfortable, thanks to the wonderful staff, and we will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Subic.
- Richard (8/5): Great hotel excellent price - great hotel - very clean, big rooms, great breakfast, excellent pool and in a great location. I will definitely stay here again but not in room 219! There was a bad smell from the drain in the bathroom. I informed housekeeping who sprayed air freshener but that didn't work. I tried a can of air-freshener and put cleaner down the drains but it was useless. This is the only reason this hotel doesn't get top marks from me. Some serious attention is required to this problem - they had a chance to rectify the issue but couldn't. Such a pity to leave a negative point to this review
- Verified traveler (10/5): - outstanding service, clean and very spacious room
