• Catalina (10/5): Buen alojamiento a 15 minutos del centro - Buena ubicación: estás a 15 minutos en bus del centro y la parada está cerca del alojamiento. Las camas muy cómodas y el sitio estaba limpio. Había conexión a Internet. Los dueños eran muy simpáticos y dispuestos a ayudar. Tal como en el anuncio. El alojamiento por fuera son casas, pero por dentro han quitado toda la estructura de una casa y lo han convertido en habitaciones: por lo que es prácticamente la distribución de un "hotel". Tuvimos la habitación con baño externo, y nos hubiese gustado que el baño tuviese llave. SIN EMBARGO, es cierto que en principio nadie entra a ese baño, pues el resto de habitaciones tienen el baño dentro de la habitación. Además, sí que contaba con pestillo. Lo decimos como recomendación, pues hubiese sido más cómodo tener la seguridad de poder dejar ahí cosas. Pero lo dicho, muy, muy contentos en general con nuestra experiencia.

El señor que nos recibió fue muy amable, además te ponen café y galletas para desayunar. La única pega que se puede poner es que el baño es de tipo bohardilla y si eres alto, es un poco incómodo.

La habitación estaba muy limpia y era espaciosa, el baño estaba bien y limpio, incluso nos cambiaron las toallas pese a estar solo 4 noches. La habitación era un poco fría para la época del año, y la cama si mides 180cm o más se queda algo pequeña.

• Wilma (9/5): Absolutely fantastic! - The Hosts were very helpful and courteous They greeted my daughter and myself with a warm welcome which set me at ease. They explained to us where to access the binnearest transport and places to visit. Our room was very clean and tidy with a great view of Arthur's seat. We would definitely stay there again. There was not anything to dislike .

• Benjamin (7/5): Schöner Aufenthalt für drei Tage. - Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und die Betten gemacht, was wir eigentlich garnicht erwartet hätten, da es sich ja um ein Guest House handelt und nicht um ein Hotel. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und äußerst Hilfsbereit. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein und beengt. Ich bin kaum in die Dusche gekommen aber das ist halt dem alten Gebäude geschuldet. Der Preis war ein bisschen zu hoch aber Schottland ist im Allgemeinen sehr teuer, das sollte man vorher wissen.

• Rei (10/5): Great Location. Clean and comfortable. - They room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. A good place to rest when you are out and about town and only in to sleep and start over again. The owners were great - very hospitable, welcoming, and kind. The location was great. They are right in front of a bus stop and more 5-8 minutes walk away. They are also close to a variety of restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores. They are pretty close to the city centre too. We had a private bathroom outside of our bedroom. It did not appear that any other guests used it but I would have been more comfortable with it having a lock and key, just in case.

• Ralph (7/5): Sehr freundlich aber leider nicht perfekt - Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden und hätten sogar schon vormittags einchecken können. Ein größeres Zimmer haben wir bekommen weil im eigentlichen Raum die Dusche defekt war. Es gibt einen Schrank, ein Doppel- und zwei Einzelbetten, genügend Platz für Koffer und Bekleidung. Wir hatten auch ein eigenes Badezimmer. Der erste Eindruck wenn man das Zimmer betritt ist „wow“! Die Tapete, der Stuck und hier auch die Größe des Raumes. Die Lage ist super! Es fahren mehrere Busse in fast jede Richtung und zu Fuß ist man in ca. zwanzig Minuten in der Stadt In einem alten Haus ist immer hellhörig. Bei ruhigen, anderen Gästen ist das auch nicht so schlimm… Leider wird nicht investiert. Die Fenster zu einer Hauptverkehrsstraße war nur einfach verglast und gefühlt nicht vorhanden. Das Sofa war grundsätzlich ein gutes, zusätzliches Möbelstück, aber auch nicht mehr ganz so sauber und ziemlich durchgesessen. Die Jalousien waren sehr staubig und es lagen auch einige lange Haare auf dem Fußboden.

• Markéta (8/5): Milí majitelé a dobrá lokalita pro výlety po Edinburghu - Příjemní majitelé, vše ochotně vysvětlili a doporučili co v Edinburghu navštívit a jak nejlépe využít dopravu. Pokoj byl dostatečně velký, koupelna pro náš pokoj byla přes chodbu (to jsme věděli již při objednání pobytu). K dispozici byla rychlovarná konvice, čaj, káva a sušenky. Z ubytování lze celkem v pohodě dojít pěšky do centra, případně je možné využít některý z autobusů - zastávky jsou velmi blízko. K využití je fén, který ale není kam zapojit, všechny zásuvky, které jsme našli byly u země. V koupelně možno zapojit pouze holicí strojek. Vybavení je již opotřebované, ale odpovídá fotografiím. Matrace v posteli mírně slehlá, ale zatím poměrně pohodlná k odpočinku.

• Katya (9/5): Enchanted by the beauty of Edinburgh and its very friendly people. - The hotel is well located, although not in the city center. We walked almost every day, but we like to walk. We walked about 15 kilometers each day. However, we used local transportation twice, which is also very good. There's a bus stop in front, and more buses pass on the street behind. We had breakfast nearby at the Kiva restaurant, which was very good. But before going, we had coffee and cookies, which were delivered to our room every day. Our towels were changed daily. The bed was very good, the room clean. In short, I recommend this place. I have no complaints

• Benjamin (10/5): We loved this place and would definitely return. - It was really easy to access all the tourists spots by bus. The room was very charming and clean and an overall great place to stay. The gentleman managing the property was extremely kind, helpful, and generous. He helped us carry our bags up the stairs, explained how the busses worked, and gave us new towels every day. One morning when we were heading out for the day, it was raining and we had no umbrella. The manager noticed and gave us one of his own to use for the day. Really nice guy and a great property. Everything was great

We had a spectacular view with Arthur's seat from our window. All amenities that I required during the stay were available. I would not hesitate to book a room again with these lovely people upon another visit.

No issues with the shower, cleanliness, lots of space in the family room (he said he gave us the larger room) if ventilation is an issue just open the windows and it'll be fine. There's also some convenience stores about 10min walk away tops, neighbourhood is good too

Some shops and restaurants within around 15 minutes walk as well. Staff were helpful when we first arrived and pointed us in the right direction for food and shops so we didn’t have to travel too far as we arrived quite late. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the pillows are long overdue being replaced. We had meant to ask but completely forgot when we headed out for the evening and by the time we were back it was too late.
