The room I stayed in was so spacious. I loved the sea facing room over the balcony. The room did not have a desk to put your laptop as I was traveling for business purpose.

- Phil (3/5): Disappointing. - I did not like any of it. I did not stay for the breakfast. The property is in urgent need of a facelift. The room is tired, the bathroom, though spacious is tired. There was no sign at the entrance, no lighting, so extremely difficult to find. There email system is very confusing as it always referred to their other property, the hotel and conference centre in central Durban, so I went there first. Even there follow up emails refer to the hotel, not the guest house, it was late, dark and I was not amused.

- sisebe (8/5): My stay was excellent - Rooms are spacious, beds comfy, excellent network coverage, excellent location, safe and quite neighborhood, breakfast was good, access to the kitchen and dining hall making it a home away from home experience where one could prepare meals of choice without depending on restaurants, my kids had their own bedroom with smart TV. The ambience is excellent. The cupboards are sufficient though they could use some renovations inside, otherwise everything was perfect.

Air-cinditioner was working perfectly. It would have been nice to have a small table in the room and extra plug point on the other side of the bed.

- Joe (9/5): A Nice Manor Stay - The place is perfectly located with great ocean views and perfectly located ground floor rooms. The breakfast was wonerful and generous. Checkin was quick and friendly. The WiFi worked perfectly around the whole house - no blind spots encountered. Nice antique furniture - both a good thing and not so great if mixed with mordern but dated furniture. The furnituere is a bit dated. Some of the furniture is antique which may both be a nice thing and also not so nice. Thus, it would be sbest to stick to one theme - either antique or mordern, but not both. When exiting, it would be nice to have a bell to alert staff to open the gate when you no longer have the remote. Hooting may disturb other guests.

- Monique (8/5): It was comfortable and clean . Thank you - It was safe and neat everyday. The staff was very helpful and friendly. At first they got my booking wrong, they did go to a lot of effort to make it right. One thing that they can do is to give the right amount of towels per guests ,and maybe an extra plug to charge your phone will be nice. I had to unplug the dstv to charge my phone.

We walked into a poorly maintained establishment with an unpleasant odor and my wife and I advised the staff member who showed us our room that we would not be staying and would like the booking cancelled - the images advertised are highly deceptive of the actual establishment If the images and description in any way reflected the actual, we would never have booked there. Worse still despite requesting refund NO Response has been received from the establishment

Access to pool and patio was lovely. Felt safe and awesome area to go for a run to the beach Bathroom could do with some tlc. Road at back was a bit noisy to leave window open but Aircon worked.
- Carmel (10/5): Comfortable and clean - Our stay was absolutely comfortable and cozy. Love the spacious rooms and cleanliness, as well as the kind, amazing staff. The ocean view was beautiful. Hats off to the amazing chef- breakfast was so delicious and well presented. We were instructed to checkout at 10am, however the invoice says we checked out at 12:05 which is incorrect, and we would loved to have checked out later than 10am.

- Linda (4/5): Disappointing - Location was fine. I did not read the fine print about the shared bathroom - was not comfortable as a woman on my own sharing a bathroom. The shower door did not close - missing a panel. The hairdryer stuck on the wall that did not work, was filthy. Lights in the bedroom - globe was gone and Emmanuel did not have replacements globes. The plugs for the bedside lights were faulty. The place is "very tired" and needs some upgrading.

- Fardeeba (1/5): Terribly disturbing experience - To be honest, nothing! Apart from the location that was about it. Firstly we arrived and the staff were confused out of their minds about our booking. They could not even communicate correctly neither could they understand and interpret our booking. They then gave us a room that we did not book which was dirty and infested of ants. We had to literally explain that we booked a balcony sea facing room with breakfast and still the staff made it seem like we were just wanting to be difficult and even the confirmation that we produced are all false. Eventually after returning from dinner at 8pm, Emmanuel then apologized and we thought finally, this nightmare can be over.... to our dismay, it was far from over. At 9pm we hear a knock again from Emmanuel, saying hes sorry he gave us the incorrect room and we have to get our things and move. Mind you, it was raining and cold and now we have to rush to gather our belongings to move as the guests of that room was already awaiting. So obviously a charade had to displayed for them. To cut the long story short, finally we got the room that we had paid for together with the breakfast which was utterly disgusting. They had no decency to cater for people that do not eat pork. I will never ever recommend this play to anyone, no matter how desperate you are. Very disgruntled and disappointed with the services, cleanliness and overall appearance.
