- Aphiwe (9/5): - Beautiful decor, quite place Some off musty smell
- Mark (8/5): One of a kind immersion in stunning surroundings and so much incredible art. - Wonderful location with great views of the gorge. Is is an incredible palace of African art. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and the staff are very helpful All of the room are off the main room which is very large on 2 floors. It is therefore a very quiet place as any noise travels. It was great for us, but if you want to party a bit probably not the place for you

- Catherine (9/5): Lovely hotel in great location - would highly recommend. - Beautiful hotel. Very clean and efficiently run. Staff were very helpful. No meal facilities outside of breakfast. Felt like a ghost shop at times as no staff / guests to be seen.

- Henrietta (10/5): Excellent and very welcoming and comfortable - The complete craziness of the decoration - it was both fun and beautiful and interesting to see such a fab collection of Zulu artifacts. The staff even cleaned the mud off our car and dried our clothes. Breakfast was excellent I’d definitely go back! Do go and see the gardens and walk along the gorge too. Nothing - a slightly small pool but the view made up for it!
- Rodney Silindelo (10/5): -
- Shevaun (10/5): Wonderful - Amazing. Straight out of an African fairytale. We loved our stay. New details to wonder over with every step. The pool area is lovely. And Alta went out of her way to sort out a hire-car issue, and get us refreshments. Exceptional. Thank you so much. The super steep bumpy driveway- although it made you slow down to really notice the amazing new things around every corner.

- Elizabeth (9/5): A bizaare and essentric hotel which is fantastic for a short and comfortable
stay. - Our room, bathroom and balcony were very spacious and clean. The view was spectacular. The staff were very professional and welcoming. The decorations in the hotel are very busy and overwhelming, so I would have preferred that the bedroom was free of any decoration. Perhaps just a few black and white pictures of the construction process of the hotel, or of wild animals, but definitely no more beadwork, etc. The old peacock feathers in the bathroom should be removed. There is a musty smell in the hotel and so doors and windows should be kept open to air the place.
- Beatrix (10/5): Unbedingt besuchen! Absolute Empfehlung - Ich habe viele Hotels in diversen Ländern besucht.

Definitely a place to recommend if you are a nature lover and desire a memorable, peaceful and quiet stay Nothing. - Mona (8/5): Great experience! - Very interesting decoration. Lovely view of the gorge, bed was super comfortable in the presidential suit. The bathroom was very large, as well as our own verandah. Staff were super friendly. The place was quiet, saw/heard no other guests. The driveway leading in is quite steep. Not necessarily an issue, although is a little resting on those hill starts.
- Julia (10/5): A unique and unforgettable stay filled with culture, beauty, and true African charm — a place everyone should experience - The AmmaZulu African Palace is absolutely breathtaking — it feels like stepping into a living museum of Zulu art and culture. The architecture, wooden carvings, and vibrant decorations create an atmosphere unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The room was spacious, clean, and full of unique artistic details. The staff were warm, welcoming, and truly made us feel at home. The surrounding nature and peaceful atmosphere added an extra layer of magic to our stay. -

- Lee-ann (9/5): Truly amazing, sadly under advertised. This place should be booked out everyday! - What an absolute gem! A hidden treasure !The most amazing , beautiful display of African art! The colours and imagination of the art is beyond spectacular ! Its like staying in a African art Museum ! The only criticism is that there is no on site restaurant or bar. Having this on site would greatly add to the experience, increase revenue and offer jobs to locals.
- Heinz (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Wonderful place to stay. - This establishment exceeded my expectations and is highly recommended. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. My only issue is the Wi-Fi is very slow.
I could not even work on my Vodacom LTE dongle as the Vodacom signal is bad.
- Thandeka (8/5): Tranquil, serene and very relaxing. - We loved the fact that it is so peaceful. We also enjoyed the lighting inside the facility in the evening. The decorations were outstanding. It is also very spacious which is enjoyable as well. Nothing.

- Sujith (9/5): -
- Colleen (9/5): - Lovley property, always have a comfortable stay.
- Paul (10/5): This is simply the greatest guesthouse in the world! Hands down! I was mesmerized. - The breakfast was great. The location is incredible. I hate to say cut any trees but cutting some trees back at the tops would have made the view from the second story lounge windows incredible. Room 4, bedroom door could not close and with wind coming through it would bang open and closed sometimes. Also, the window wouldn't open so it got a bit stuffy in the room.
- Masego (6/5): -

- Kobus-Kay (10/5): Perfect spot to stay - Amazing decor! Amazing host! Nothing. It was all amazing
- Naidoo (10/5): - The place was amazingly beautiful, neat, very peaceful. Perfect location. Alta our host was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to many. Thank you
- Marcus (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft, jederzeit wieder. - Äußerst außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Lage toll. Design toll.
Voll Empfehlung meinerseits.
- Tembakazi (9/5): Tranquility - Architecture of the place
