Guest Reviews
- james (4/5): I won't be back - The room cost €50 so I wasn't expecting the Ritz but I was disappointed there was no hot water for a shower, I had to pay for parking which was meant to be free and no Wi-Fi code anywhere
- Wynand (10/5): - Brilliant location, very friendly and helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - 6 girls booked for Christmas weekend away and had used card to secure booking but at 8pm on Sunday night before our stay called demanding payment upfront In full, I didn’t have a card and hadn’t collected everyone’s money as the card secured the booking very bad attitude - we landed up booking With another b&b and staying at the bridge in Cavan town which was amazing best full Irish breakfast
- Verified traveler (8/5): - These are rooms over a pub. The proprietor was not on site when we arrived, but an inquiry at a pub across the street had him there within a few minutes. He was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are older and mine was quite small, but the price was good, the bed comfortable, and the showers hot. Cavan is a lovely village to explore on foot.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff were amazing ,very friendly and welcoming, couldn’t do enough to help us out, would def stay again ,very comfy bed
- Cormac (10/5): Good value - Good value, good location. No frills
- Tricia (8/5): - Great place, ideal location and would not hesitate to recommend. Declan is a great host and made us feel very welcome
- Sandra (6/5): - Comfortable Bed. Nice Sized Room. Efficient Check in and Out. However, no hot water for the shower before check out which was tough. Not enough coffee left for 2 people and tea bags were exposed. Not enough electrical sockets in the room. Inexpensive stay so an average experience overall.
- Kevin (8/5): - Be conscious that you are in a town centre location and the local nightlife goes on until 3am on Saturday night
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Well located. Clean large room .Friendly .!!!!!!!!
- Tony (10/5): - Very nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location. Was perfect for what I needed it for
- Mark (2/5): - Room dirty, no hangers for clothes, carpet dirty, walls stained
- JoiS. (10/5): - Charming accommodation on old part of town. Host, Declan, is a cherub who went out of his way to give us what we wanted.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely BnB - Nice host .lovely bar attached .great value. Centre of town.Close to all amenities
- Verified traveler (6/5): Central location - Good sized room over a charming pub. Friendly host. Only drawback is the noise and the weak shower. Take earplugs as you can hear conversations in the room next door and people walking past all night long. Has double glazing but didn’t keep the sound out at all. Good whiskey selection.
- John (10/5): Just right. - Great location and price.
- Janet (4/5):
Good location but needs refurbishing - A very old hotel that is in need of a general upgrading-painting, refurbishing. Central location and friendly hotelier.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Decent, clean, basic. Good location. Accom dating staff.
- mairead (10/5): Fabulous - Checked into this delightful place on Friday 18th May and what a pleasant experience this was. The proprietor was an absolute gentleman couldn't have been more helpful. Room was spacious and spotless. There is no breakfast provided but there are quiet a few nice Cafés around with a very good choice of different foods.
Had a drink in the Bar on the night and that too was very nice and if you're a whiskey drinker this is the place for you.
