Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (8/5): - Loved this location. Rooms were very nice and air conditioning worked. Very close to sights and restaurants. Highly recommend
- Jordon (8/5): - It is located in the heart of Venice. There was plenty of space in the unit. The beds were comfortable. In the unit overview, it was communicated that it was an upstairs unit (2nd floor) and no elevator is available so we were aware of that, however, we were not aware that what Americans consider levels of floors is different from Italy's view. To us, the unit was on the 5th floor and that was alot of stairs to climb. Also, this unit was the top floor so it was the unit that got all the trapped heat and humidity. It was very hot and uncomfortable. The air conditioning units inside the property barely made a dent in cooling the place downThe windows could not be left open at night to help cool the place down because there were so many mosquitoes and were getting bites. The unit does have a washer, which we appreciated, but there was no way to properly air dry the clothes. The humidity inside the unit made it difficult to dry out the clothes. There was no roof access to lines or there weren't any provided line dry outside windows. Check-in was fairly easy. Loved the codes making it easy to unlock doors. Part of checking in prior to getting codes required filling out forms online. I wasn't too comfortable having to provide personal information through an online form that didn't seem secure.
These are the reasons that were weighed in when considering how to rate our stay.
of roperty wstay. humid.
- Darin (6/5): - Great Location and Spacious, But Needs Better Upkeep
The location of this apartment was absolutely 5 stars—very easy to find and perfectly situated for exploring Venice. The space was large, with generous closet space, a nice balcony for drying clothes, and in-unit laundry facilities we really appreciated as a family of four.
That said, a few issues made the stay less comfortable than it could have been. Only one roll of toilet paper and one paper towel roll were provided for a four-night stay, so we had to buy basic supplies ourselves. Luckily, the apartment is close to a market, which made that manageable.
There were also no toiletries provided—no shampoo, body wash, or even hand soap. Most concerning was a significant ANT problem; we ended up purchasing ant traps, which unfortunately was a deal breaker for us. The apartment could also use a deep cleaning.
With some extra attention to cleanliness, basic provisions, and pest control, this could be a wonderful place to stay. As it stands, the location and layout were great, but the upkeep didn’t meet expectations.
- Heather (10/5): - Loved all the space , very good location.
Quite a bit of smooshes mesquites everywhere…
- Carlos (6/5): - The apartment was spacious and in a good area 2 minutes from Rialto Bridge. But we didn’t like the condition of the building, it was really old and worn down. Yes Venice is an ancient city, but the building should be in better condition, especially for the price per night that we paid. The apt was on a 5th floor with no elevator. The shower was horrible, we couldn’t get consistent hot water, but the AC was good. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if you have a big group to share the expense, it may work for you.
- Stephanie (4/5): - This property was ok for Venice. We have visited a lot of times and stayed in better and worse places. The accommodation was fairly clean although not spotless and the beds were comfy. Water pressure was poor as was amount of hot water (barely any in fact) and there was no kettle to make a hot drink. I did ask for one but was told one wasn’t provided. In order to make a hot drink you needed to use a cooking pot with metal handles (not a saucepan as there wasn’t one of those either). Use a bathroom towel to take it off the hob to avoid burning yourself and then attempt to pour boiling water into a cup. It was a ridiculous situation.
The location was good but the bar behind tipped empty bottles into the bin every night between 12 midnight and 1 am waking everyone up.
There were 3 signs in the property telling us about a gift basket of local artisan products as a welcome gift which we didn’t receive and were told “we no longer do this”. Take the information away then if you aren’t doing it
Whilst the accommodation was average overall I think the service from Team Venezia was poor.
- SANDEEP (6/5): - they place was huge alot of rooms 6 bedrooms and we were a family of 5, and it had 2 washrooms,
only problem with the place no ac, one room had ac good so we all kinda slept in there, other area's were way to hot and even it rained on our trip and was cool outside but the inside was terrible, also we had 5 suitcases and omg it was a pain walking up those stairs, i wish they had an elevator its a must in europe if you have lots of luggage, but even walking up with the heat in the building its rough one,
- Thaimi (2/5): - The experiemce that we had at the apartment, since thursday we told them the ac was broken and nothing was done about it, there was only ac in 2 rooms where it doesnt cool after going up 90 stairs that were crooked the living room amd kitchen smelled like strong cigarettes and it was almost impossible to be on that side of the apartment. I do t recommend this to anyone.
- Kathereen (6/5): - My son had insect bites coming from the bed.
- Maria (2/5): - This company doesn’t deserve a star at all. We stayed at their apartment and suffered from bed bug bites. I reported the incident to them and didn’t get any reply at all. We booked through Expedia and were told that they denied the allegations. I sent them all the videos (with the room itself) and photos with time and location stamp but still they denied it. Later I found reviews from different sites with the same issues. The place is dirty and inhabitable and they still get away with it. Avoid it at all cost. I’m doing this review so it won’t happen to somebody else. What we have experienced is very unhealthy and traumatic.
- Karen (10/5): - Loved having a washing machine. Comfy, spacious! Would have liked a dish cloth/towel and a kettle.
- Gabriel (10/5): - Great place to stay near the shopping centers, food, and everything you need in Venice. Would definitely rent again it’s really big and spacious.
- Julio (4/5): - I don't like this place
- Merete Charlotte (8/5): - Flott leilighet og fin beliggenhet.
- Kamal (8/5): - Excellent location.
Easy checkin process.
However the property manager was not reachable when we raised concern that we were missing blankets in the kids bedroom after first night. So kids slept without blanket on 2nd night as well.
- Michelle (10/5): - The MOST amazing local!! Apartment was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. Will absolutely stay again.
- Eduardo (8/5): - The apartment is very big with three bedrooms and plenty of beds. Very good for a family or group. Very limited furniture (only a table with chairs and lots of beds with closets). The property is old but well kept. Met the neighbors on the 4th floor who told us to be quiet after 11pm. Location is great within walking distance of the Doge's Palace and St. Mark Basilica.
- James (10/5): Great stay - Apartment was modern and in a great location. Despite being on a busy street it was very quiet. Less than a minute walk from Rialto bridge. Lots of shops and restaurants literally outside.
Only slight negative was the second bedroom was small, so it did sleep 2 but the pullout bed left hardly any space in the room so my daughter slept on the sofa bed.
Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Only one toilet worked. There were some kind of bugs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Older or travelers with disabilities will find this flat challenging with around 92 steps up and no lift. The location is perfect in the heart of the city steps away from the Rialto Bridge and a short walk to San Marco.
- Jenny (4/5): - The location was excellent, but the check in was confusing and instead of going straight from the airport to the property, they made us check in in a different location and charge us a taxi fee ($70 dollars) and then we had to pay another transportation 21 Euros per person (we were 7) to go to the actual property. (From the airport to the location is (25euros) They could offer us online checking.
Also is a pent house but is a lot of stairs you have to carry your luggage all the way to the top, and there is not exactly a beautiful view.
- Paula (4/5): WATCH OUT FOR 90 RICKETY STAIRS!!!!! - We were not warned ahead of time about the 90 stairs we had to walk up to the fifth floor with all of our luggage and senior travelers! THIS IS NOT A PLACE THAT WE WOULD HAVE CHOSEN, GIVEN THOSE DETAILS AHEAD OF TIME! The facilities of this place DO NOT Justify the $750 plus we paid for this place for the two night stay!!! ONLY GOOD FOR A YOUNG FIT FAMILY WITHOUT LUGGAGE!!!!! Plus, this building and the floor are severely TILTED to the right!!!!
- Mimi (8/5): - The location is great and the property is very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
