Guest Reviews
- James (5/5): Rushed - The staff knocked on the door at 10am rushing us to leave . She stood by the door as we gathered our things and had to hurry which is not what I like when im staying out of town . She was rude .

- O'Donnell (10/5): - The front office staff were very nice. My key went on the fritz late at night & I went to the office & she made me a new key, no problem, easy. My room was so clean, the floors were shinny. The bathroom had thick fluffy towels, complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner, & coffee. The small refrigerator in the room was clean, no smudges on the outside, no smells on the inside (like some places I've stayed at). I could smell the fabric softener in my sheets, I had lots of pillows on the bed & several extra ones in the room. The bed was soft & cozy and very comfortable. It was quite, peaceful & clean, the office staff were very nice & helpful. Just a great little place all the way around!! LOVED IT will definitely be staying again. The stairs, but it only had one flight of stairs. I'm sure if I'd of asked for a downstairs room I would have been given one, but I liked the one I had.
- Krystal (5/5): Cheap and roomy but dirty . - There were 4 full sized beds . Great price Looked like crushed pill residue on the table . Tape around the towel holder . A door across from the bathroom that only locks from the opposite side with no handle on our side and a towel pushed up to the bottom on the other side . Stains on beds
- Jennifer (8/5): Very comfortable, clean and quiet. - It was extremely quiet. Loved that!! Just about 3-5 minutes drive from downtown. Nothing we liked it
- Christopher (10/5): Awesome - Everything Nothing
- Cathy (10/5): -

- Chris (8/5): - Clean convent. The volume button on the remote for the TV didn't work. The vanity light was really bright 😎.
- Stephanie (4/5): -
- Mayo (9/5): We had great nights sleep, had a nice hot shower with amazing water pressure!! The lady at the front desk was very nice - I liked that it was quiet and clean!! The only thing I didn’t like is I had to go ask for more towels, in my opinion have it for the amount of guests staying in the room!! Also let the guests know you have to aim the remote at the ceiling to change the channel, I’m not sure how my husband figured that out? But overall it’s nice little place to stay, after 14 hours on softball field!!

- Eduardo (5/5): wont go there again - Location was good to downtown We had no soap, not enough towels, the tv was flickering all the time..couldnt watch tv...the door paint was peeling and seem like its didnt close properly...the phone dont work!! couldnt call front desk....

- Sienna (3/5): It was a smelly uncomfortable stay and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. - Good location the room smelled bad. There was no soap for handwashing or for bathing. The beds were uncomfortable and my back hurt the next morning.

- Rasool (9/5): - It's really nice spot close to everything Everything good
- William (7/5): -
- Desomer (7/5): Room was clean but couldn’t reach staff with any problems. - The room was clean. Water took forever to warm up and never got completely hot. Tried to call the office from the room and the phone didn’t work. Called from cell phone and nobody answered.
- Gary (9/5): -
- Dixon (10/5): - Early check in
- Tim (8/5): -
- Randy (7/5): - Everything was super clean, you could smell the cleaner the moment you walked in. The sheets and comforters were clean, a rarity to smell freshly cleaned comforters. The staff was friendly and helpful with the one issue we had, which was corrected in less than 2 minutes. It's a very quiet hotel, not a huge place and it was perfect for what we needed. There was only 1 chair in the room. If it had 2, it would have been more comfortable. Not everyone wants to sit on the bed, especially in clothes they've traveled in.
The bath towels could have been a bit larger or thicker, or maybe leave 4 instead of 2...they absorbed the water great, but we were still wet trying to dry off.
- Terry (10/5): - Clean room very nice staff I would recommend this place to anyone
- Demetrius (10/5): - Very pleasant and friendly staff! Nothing bad to add. Everything was to my liking.
- Antoinae (8/5): Would definitely go back and stay there again if we travel back to Ellijay. - The place was very clean, and comfortable. The staff was pleasant, and quickly handled our requests. We stayed two nights.
- Jo (5/5): Restless - Location Bed was hard, heater didn't work very well, shower no water pressure

- Chris (10/5): The Wonderful Inn!! - I always love it here. Wanted to stay longer
- Hannah (5/5): -
- Tiffany (10/5): - It was very nice and clean!
- Salters (3/5): I expect the room’s air system to be turned on and aired out before I arrive! I will never use that elevator again and I - It was nice to be able to park and cruise The room had a musky odor, the elevator had a horrible sound and made you think it was unsafe! Once again we called when we returned back from the cruise, had to wait 50 minutes at the cruise terminal for a cab to come get us when there were cabs out front we could have taken! The cab service they use is Yellow cab, which are the most run down cabs I’ve ever seen, so dirty inside them and all you could smell was burnt oil and gasoline the entire ride! Twice I have stayed here, the staff have not been friendly and when I commanded about my 50 minute wait at the terminal, I was told that they have been instructed to try to make it a two way trip and yes we had to wait until someone was ready to be dropped off at the terminal before we got picked up! I have another trip in January but I will be canceling that reservation! I will not stay if I can’t use one of the cabs parked outside the terminal and the hotel reimburse the driver for the fee! And stop using the run down nasty cabs!

- Brian (9/5): great value, Ellijay is a great town - friendly staff The TV broke, unable to fix
- Hollis (9/5): - The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfy, the location is convenient, and the staff is pleasant, helpful, and kind Other guests were a bit noisy, and the walls are thin.
- Hollis (9/5): - Very clean and convenient location Noisy guests
- carol (10/5): -
- Stacey (7/5): - Room was clean
- connie (7/5): - Housekeeping not the best
- Billie (7/5): - It was a good stop for the night on our road trip.
- JOSEPH (3/5): - Could be cleaner
- Beth (10/5): I can't wait to to back! Great place to stay & awesome town. - It was within walking distance of all the antique shops, restaurants, and the river. The breakfast at the Corner Cafe` is awesome! Cantaberry is the place to go for lunch & The Butcher & Bottle is the perfect place to wrap up your day with a dinner you will be talking about for days!! There really wasn't much that we didn't enjoy. Ellijay is the perfect combination of home town feel, great shops, & delicious food.
- Cynthia (10/5): Will stay here again next year. - Clean rooms. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Nothing.
- Baldwin (7/5): -
- Waldrop (5/5): - Room was clean Didn't have but one coffee and 1 pack cream in the room for 2 people. Not told up front about a 3% fee if you used a credit card.
- Baldwin (5/5): Nice motel, be careful when you register. - Clean, well maintained. Front office staff member was rude and blamed me for a problem I had no way of knowing existed. Upon our return to the motel, she raged at me for causing thr afore mentioned issue. We could have avoided the entire issue had she brought it up when we first registered.
- Chip (8/5): - Value
- Becky (10/5): Great prices for a clean nice room -
- Frank (9/5): Great place to stay - I have been staying at the Budget inn over the past 5 years and normally stay for a week at a time and have never been disappointed Nothing
- Bailey (9/5): Nice little place to stay without frills. - Clean, quiet, great location. The fan in the bathroom was too loud.
- Karen (8/5): -
- Connie (9/5): Our weekend Apple Festival stay - That it was updated and the price was a good value The location
- Dennis (5/5): -
- Gibson (4/5): Knock before you enter - I liked that our room was clean and the bed was confortable, also the makup mirror was a wonderful plus. I didnt like the fact that without knocking the owner opened the door of my room while I was still in the bed with no clothes on, waiting for my husband to get back with breakfast. Also the hair dryer was broken.
- Tilley (10/5): To having my room clean and fresh and the owners always greets me with a hug… come stay there. Feels like home. - The owners are why I come, they are so sweet and very friendly. I love staying there. I always come back at least 5 times a year. Close to downtown. You got to stay there. Not one thing!!!
- Daniel (1/5): -
- Carver (8/5): - It was really clean. By the outside of the building it looks just OK. But when you open your room
It smells good, very clean. It didn't have carpet. And no bugs!!
The problem I had was the owner
I called and I was going to ask if he was going to be there before 2:00 (our check in time). But he hung up on me. I tried again twice but no answer. OK so we left and went back at 2:30. They were just getting there. We spent the night
But not again.
- Huck (9/5): -
- Templeton (5/5): -
- Gilbert (5/5): Uncomfortable due to it felt like an apartment complex. It was not as advertised at all,not like I - It was a place where people rented and lived weekly. Kids playing with toys, doors open and people yelling. I was not happy with that at all More complete description of actual building and rental..I didn't want a boarding place
- Chris (10/5): Top-Notch - Top-notch as always Loved everything
- washburn (7/5): - Was not noisy
- Woody (10/5): My trip to Ellijay to walk over my property, starting to build a home there - I thought the room were very clean and efficient. We lived out stay. We had a great time, the prices were reasonable, thank you
- Beth (10/5): My favorite motel - My room was clean and comfortable. I had a table and chair to sit and eat without having to get crumbs in the bed. My bed was huge, soft, & very comfy!! There were extra pillows and blankets. And the AC works great!
- Chris (10/5): Wonderful - Everything. The married couple running the place are hilarious and sweet. Loved it all the time.
- Chris (10/5): What a surprise and a good one. - Everything. Wish I could have stayed longer
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Donald Owens (10/5): -
- Miya (9/5): - It was very clean Had a coffee pot, but no coffee
- Joe (8/5): -
- Pamela (10/5): -
- Beth (10/5): Ellijay Budget Inn - Our room was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect distance to walk to the shops, restaurants, and bars on River Street. The room was spacious with a big soft bed and a sitting area. It was very quite and peaceful. Definitely recommend
- Sean (1/5): Aggressive and rude staff woman - The room was well upgraded and everything was comfortable. TV was bigger than usual and location was great. The lady that works at the facility is a complete rude, crazy woman. She knocked on the door at 10 minutes till 10 and ran off like a child. Right at 10 o’clock she bangs on the door immediately yelling at me telling me we have to go now. I told her I thought checkout was at 11 to give me 15 minutes. Her response was you’ve got 15 minutes before I call police. Stay far away from this place. You’re better off at Ellijay Inn.
- David (8/5): Annoying But Cheap So Fine - Almost ran out of toilet paper. Didn't get shampoo for the 3rd and last morning. Things are pretty noisy, especially the air conditioning and the refrigerator. Had to turn the air conditioner off in order to sleep. Still would go there again because it was cheaper than the alternatives and that's what I care about
- Brenda (8/5): -
- Judith (1/5): - It was so bad I never checked in. I called and asked for a refund. I never heard back. I would not send my dog here!
- Benekia (9/5): -
- Mark (7/5): Good place in a good location. - Property was nice, clean, room was spacious. Staff was short, not willing to answer simple questions like good places to eat or shop. Got offended when we asked what time checkout was?
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean and quiet, and the staff was very nice There is not enough sugar for my coffee, lol. But no big deal.
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Aline (9/5): Superb -
