Check-in information is clear and easy to follow. Pillows, flat as a pancake. It would have been nice to have had a few tea/coffee bags for initial check-in.

• Jack (8/5): A very lovely stay in a perfectly located apartment. Would be a 10/10 with a bit of an extra welcoming touch, just g - Location was ideal, really clean, and very comfortable. We stayed in the cat bells top apartment and the stairs were definitely worth the amazing views you get! Welcome pack would have been highly appreciated on arrival, even just some milk and tea bags. Just felt the apartment didn’t give that ‘home feel’ and could have had better cooking supplies due to the frying pan being unusable. Ideal if you’re looking to eat out every night though.

• Laura (6/5): A good apartment with excellent location, hosts need to communicate better - Fantastic location and a very clean property! Beds were comfortable, shower was powerfully and the overall facilities were good. We found the location easily and had a smooth check in. Poor communication from the hosts. We tried to contact the hosts twice to report a broken chair leg but they never got back to us or acknowledged the message at all. I would also recommend you bring an eye mask of some sort as each bedroom has a bright safety light that stays on throughout the night.
• Peach (9/5): Comfortable apartment in Keswick - Comfortable apartment in a great location. Just needs a few more kitchen utensils for example a baking tray and oven gloves.
• Ellie (10/5): Excellent location and apartment! - Perfect high street location. We had a ground floor apartment and noise was not a concern as you may think it could be! Apartment was very spacious, clean and modern with everything you may need. One slight dislike was that our apartment only offered a bath and not a shower (personal preference) however, this was much appreciated after a long day walking to soak in! Also note, the recommended car park is 2 mins walk away which is perfect but be mindful that it only allows you to book 12 hours at a time until 7am each day - at which point you can extend (it doesn't allow you to do this any earlier so be aware you need to extend)!

• Emma (10/5): Beautiful weekend away in a gorgeous apartment and perfect location! - The apartment was really lovely. We were sent all the instructions before for the door codes and we told the apartment was ready. We were on the second floor and the views were beautiful. It was a perfect location to the bars, restaurant and the lake. It had everything we needed it was really well stocked and lovely quality. We struggled to find the front door even though we had instructions but I think that was us!

• Jane (3/5): - It was clean and central Bathroom. The towel radiator does not work, so the bathroom was freezing. The sliding doors between the bedroom and bathroom is frosted glass, they do not close properly. One door is hanging off the runner. The light around the mirror does not switch off. I emailed the property twice, they never responded. I looked back at reviews over the last 3/4 months and note other have mentioned the broken radiator and sliding doors. Cleary not fussed to get these issues sorted.

• Michael (10/5): Excellent apartment, shame about the parking! - The apartment was excellently located right in the centre of Keswick, within walking distance of all of the amenities, the lake and Latrigg too. We brought our own cleaning products, but the apartment was already equipped with some, including dishwasher tablets. I didn't like the fact that there was no private parking; however, the Keswick's Council ran central car park was about a 2 minute walk away and could be seen from the bedroom window. This car park is understandably busy on a weekend, and we had to drive around for about 20 minutes until we got a bay. Later on the evening I moved my car into an empty bay that was visible from the apartment. Parking costs are around £11 for upto 12 hours, then a further £1.10 over night.
• karen (9/5): Perfect cosy little den for a very central stay. - Central location, everything thought about, extremely cosy and clean, and lovely and warm on arrival - which in February, was much appreciated! The main bathroom was a little cold, but that’s all. It was a bit tricky to find, even with the excellent directions from Floria and even though she said one drives down a pedestrian street, that still felt as if we were doing something. Maybe the property could work with the town council for a small sign or something.

Really fine quality of appliances, fixtures and fittings, a beautiful outlook on both sides and effective, modern heating. Nowhere for muddy boots - a simple grill or mat outside apartments’ entrance or the flat itself would have been good. A very noisy fridge that erratically starts up at elevated volume then quiets down for no reason, just as suddenly. No coffee, tea or milk provided though very nice bathroom provisions.

Felt really homely and was spotlessly clean. Location is brilliant. Would recommend and definitely book again in the future. Just needed some coat pegs inside the apartment to be able to hang outdoor coats.

It was very quiet inside the property compared to how busy it was outside, no noise at all. Loved the bath! The bathroom doors don’t fully close, making it difficult to use the bathroom in private. Having a fully cream carpeted property made it difficult to deal with getting in and out after walks. There was nothing to tidy up with or put mucky shoes, meaning we left them outside the front door in the hallway.

• Heather (9/5): Would definitely recommend Lake Rd Appartments. - Great location right in the centre of Keswick, although it might be noisy in the summer due to its proximity to bars and restaurants, it was absolutely fine in March. Shower could have been bigger, there’s certainly enough space to accommodate a larger shower cubicle.
• Kevin (9/5): Despite the rain, we had an enjoyable two nights in Keswick, with the appartment enhancing our stay. - Appartment is right in the centre of Keswick making it easy to acess all the town's facilities. The property was very clean and well equiped throughout. Parking was a bit expensive using the Central Carpark, £11.20 for 24 hours, we were there for two nights. Our appartment (Catbells) was at the very top of the property, 51 steps up, probbly not suitable for anyone with mobily issues ( we didn't have any), final flight was very steep.

Very easy to find when we arrived as the directions were very clear. The toiletries were appreciated The small shower cubicle! It would also have been good to have had a heated towel rail.

• Helen (9/5): A beautiful cosy stay - This accommodation is beautiful and very cosy. We did book very last minute to stay on Christmas Day as we were walking CatBells and were 3hours from home. It has luxury finishing touches, a real homely feel to it. A shower would be a good addition. There is a fantastic free standing bath but the shower is over it We took our shoes off at the door as the carpets are plush but a shoe tray would be an idea. We tried to contact the company and the owners regarding parking but got no response from either. It was Christmas so we didnt push it .
• Amelia Marie (10/5): Brilliant location for a break at Keswick. - We used the lake road apartments due to mine and my friends partner running at the Keswick mountain festival on the weekend of our stay. The delux apartment was stunning and so clean! Everything was there what was needed and extremely comfortable and homely for 4 adults. Although the property is city centre it’s very sound proof and hidden from the busy streets so there are no worries about sound issues. The beds are very comfortable and the cleaning standards are exceptional. Nothing at all. The property was perfect.
• Dale (8/5): We did have a really lovely stay and would certainly come again. - Perfect location, beautiful layout of apartment, so quiet and relaxing. Little touches needed, such as hangers for coats and tray for shoes, in doorway especially needed when weather wet. Kitchen a little welcome box of teabags etc would be nice. Bathroom, unfortunately the glass sliding doors need new runners and need adjusting as difficult to open and close, Also the the towel rail wasn’t working so bathroom felt cold, The freestanding taps are loose and felt unsecured.

Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy, but cosy stay in the lakes Nothing

• Sharron (10/5): Wonderful Stay in the most perfect location - Everything was just lovely. It was very central. We parked in the Central Car Park which was very close .. probably 3 mins walk from the apartment. We had great communication with the hosts who gave clear directions and instructions. There was nothing we didn’t like. It would have been convenient to have had some basic tea / coffee / milk but this has been mentioned in may previous reviews and not actioned. It wasn’t easy to find a convenience store close by for milk but there is one to the top of the street near Greggs if others need to find one.

• Vicki (10/5): Lovely apartment in a Great Location - Great location, very comfortable modern apartment right in the centre of town. Catbells is on the top floor so people with mobility issues would struggle. The final flight of stairs were very steep and shallow.

• Angela (9/5): Brilliant - Location was fantastic and there was a huge free standing bath that was amazing. The toilet had two glass doors so lacking a bit of privacy as was located in the main bedroom. I also found the pillows very cheap and thin so would recommend to take your own.

Nice appartment but could use a few little improvements. - The location is undoubtedly excellent - right in the heart of Keswick, with pubs, shops and restaurants at your doorstep. The property is a decent size and the living area in particular accommodates 4 people well. It’s a shame the owners haven’t taken previous feedback on board as many of the issues raised in the past remain. There is limited storage in the bedrooms and zero storage in the bathrooms - no hooks or shelves. Nowhere to put toiletries or hang towels. The heated towel rails didn’t work and the kettle was leaking and should be replaced. Most annoying is the bright green led lights in the bedrooms - these make sleeping near impossible. While these are all fairly minor things, when added together makes for a disappointing stay when considering the price. These things would also be pretty simple to address and would make for a much more pleasant experience.
