Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Property was ok but check in is a 5 minute walk away from the apartments.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Because the check-in address is different from the apartment address, it was very stressful when we encountered problems with the parking roller door and room key/lock - especially as we arrived after 6pm and the check-in counter had closed.
- Bradley (8/5): Good luck checking in after hours! - The apartment was good but our experience of the collection and deposit of the apartment key, after their reception had closed for the day, was woeful. I’ve spoken to the manager and hopefully the problem has been sorted. Also, the company requested our identity and C Card to be uploaded to their Facebook site on the morning of our flight to Adelaide which added unforeseen and unnecessary stress to our travel. We weren’t happy uploading such information onto the Facebook platform, for obvious reasons, but they guaranteed no fraud would eventuate. After speaking to some tech savvy friends, I won’t be doing that again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and tidy, good location and we had a fantastic view. Collecting the keys from another location was ok because we were driving but would be more difficult if you didnt have transport. 2 bedroom , 4 adults - the 2nd bedroom had only a small bed (maybe a double). Worked well for our requirements of an overnight stay and was well set up if we had wanted to cook. Would need to bring all of your own provisions as nothing is available within the building but shops are nearby.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Ridiculous check-in/out process, broken aircon. - The reception far off from the hotel was closed at Weekday 4PM, paid $25 for night manager call out to check-in.
I complained about it, but NM replied it's subject to change. I choose not to argue as it seems a routine work for him.
Prepare yourself about 1 hour early to return the key and back to the hotel in the busy morning.
The property is very modern and at the good location, however second bedroom air conditioner was broken and does nothing but make a noise.
The main air conditioner worked fine but there's air circulation fan running in the ceiling just above the kitchen and master bedroom, generate annoying noisy for 24 hours even if the aircon is off, the fan never stop.
- Nathan (10/5): Overnight family reunion - Highly satisfied with the cleanliness, amenities, decor, parking and location. Everything exceeded our expectations and we were disappointed we couldn't stay a little longer. Excellent is a word sometimes overused but in this case it's spot on.
- Toby (8/5): Great place, good location, roomy. - Very happy with our choice. Plenty of room with good facilities. Unusual check in point at diff location but easily managed. Two dedicated sets of keys /elevator passes would a great addition as we had a 3 month old with us and needed to go back to the room separately at times. Otherwise great!
- Ashok (4/5): Not 5 star! - The check in office is some distance from the accomadation. Little information about local area/ attractions offered, espite being requested, by check-in person. There is no free wi-fi- costs $15 for 1 GB for 3 days. You would not expect this for 5 star accomadation. We had travelled from Sydney to Adelaide over 2 and 1/2 weeks and all the apartments we stayed at offered free wi-fi. We stayed in a 2 bed roomed apartment but there was only one 3 seater sofa in the living room- not a problem for us but imagine it would be for bigger parties. There was no coffee table requiring us to balance cups and glasses on chairs when relaxing. Our apartment was noisy at night as the building is located on a busy intersection. There was no information folder or phone in the apartment despite the manager's letter of welcome suggesting there was. We had to drive back to the office to raise our concerns! On the plus side the apartment was clean. Overall sub standard for '5 star acommadation.' It would appear somebody is renting this apartment out purely for financial gain without much thought for visiting, specially overseas, guests.
- Verified traveler (10/5): We enjoyed our stay. - We stayed for 10 nights. The apartment is in very good condition. Housekeeping was offered once very four days. The reception check in area is around 10 minutes walk from the apartment. A little bit inconvenient with big luggage, however the surrounding location is excellent. Very close to the Chinatown,Central Market area and free tram stop area to the Rundle Mall.
- Tracy (10/5): Great apartment close to the city - Apart from checking in at a slightly different location which I'd read about in a previous review.and only being given one room key. The check in receptionist rushed through everything without much explanation. However, the apartment was clean and comfortable but the highlight was the beautiful infinity pool with breathtaking views across Adelaide. There was a cinema toom with massive lounge chairs, billiards room and fully kitted out gym. We didn't realise about the roof top putt putt sadly until after we left. Car parking was incredible underneath the apartment, advertised at $5 per day but we werent charged. The cars were parked on top of each other with a lift system allowing you to lift your car up if needed. You could walk into the city within 15 mins or catch the tram in 7 mins. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment.
- Bashkim (10/5): RNR Apartments family holiday - The kids loved the swimming pool, billiards room, rooftop had great views. Great family apartment very new, clean & close to public transport. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would love to stay at RNR apartments in the future.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect location - Excellent stay - Location great - clean and tidy room
- Disappointed (2/5): A very disappointing experience - I was checking in on a Sunday. The staff rang me to confirm 3 days earlier that I was arriving between 5-6pm. All was ok.
They then ring me the day of arrival and tell me that the office is closing at 2pm and I need to pay a further $25 to get a night manager to check me in. I was told that on arrival at the apartment to call a number on the door. I arrived there was no number to call. I had to ring reception and the voicemail said that they are open to 6pm on Sundays. I called the night manager and he told me I had to walk 15 minutes to check in and he wouldn't be there for a further 30 minutes. I refused to pay the $25 check in fee considering on the terms and conditions they gave me and their voicemail said they were open until 6pm on Sundays.
The beds were horrible, like sleeping on a cardboard mattress and the pillows were a pillow case stuffed will foam sheeting.
I have never complained about a hotel experience in my life. I have never written a complaint on a website. This experience was so bad that I felt compelled to write this. I will NEVER stay with this company again and nor will any of my staff.
- kerry (6/5): Very inconvenient - We dont know Adelaide well and had flown in and were relying on walking & public transport. We hadn't realised that check in was so far away from the property ,by about a half hour walk, we had to catch a taxi from reception back to apartment as it was a 40 degree day. Than we found out the key couldn't be left in the room but also taken back via taxi to reception.
Apartment is not comfy, only 1 access pass for all guests.
