• Simon (9/5): Enjoyable - We choose the hotel as we were attending a concert in the city but unfortunately I mis judged the distance from the hotels location to the city centre. Therefore the cost I tried to save with the hotel I ended up spending on taxis etc! The distance from where we needed to be! My mistake not the hotels!

• Passenger35348361419 (8/5): Excellent Stay – Minor Improvement for Breakfast Variety - I had a very pleasant stay. The location, hotel facilities, and cleanliness were all excellent, and everything was very well maintained. The staff were friendly and responsive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only suggestion I would make is to introduce a bit more variety to the breakfast, as it felt quite similar each day. Overall, a great experience and I would be happy to stay again.

• Scott (9/5): Great pre Marathon stay - Great location for the Manchester Marathon. Loved the pasta party in the restaurant also. Room facilities great for the night before the race. Coffee machine an added bonus for that early morning caffeine. Added bonus of free late checkout due to running the marathon and therefore being able to get a post race shower. Only a minor issue, the fan to control the room airflow got noisey after 10 minutes of running no matter what temp or fan speed was selected. Ended up turning it off due to the room temp in April being fine.

• Emma (8/5): Clean, comfortable and staff welcoming - Close to marathon finish line. Having massages available after the marathon Pasta party pre race was poor value for money and a poor selection of food available.

Location is perfect for access to the University area and only a short walk / bus ride into the city. The bathroom is designed around a huge bathtub which had to be climbed into to take a shower, and it had very high sides! When will hotels realise that very few people take baths when travelling - almost everyone takes a shower.....

She was extremely professional and welcoming. It was a busy time of the day and Naualy took the time to make sure that all people were accommodated, including ourselves. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. From check-in to departure, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing visit. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. Any requests were dealt with promptly, which made a real difference. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service and a stress-free stay, and I would happily return again in the future.

Minh was an excellent host - cocktail hour drinks on tap and food was plentiful. 10/10 for Minh for his hospitality and attention to detail - my wife and I never had to ask for another drink - he would have it at our table before we'd asked!

• Natalie (10/5): A little haven of peace in the city - Everything. Check-in was a breeze, the room was immaculate, soundproofed, and comfortable. The slippers and dressing gown were lovely additions, making this feel a true home away from home. I also particularly appreciated the fridge. The light in the wardrobe is genius, and helped ensure I left nothing behind! The toiletries provided in the bathroom are fabulous. Very luxurious. If I had to really try and find a negative, the only thing would be that there weren't any biscuits to go with a coffee. But as there's a small supermarket on the corner of the street, this was easily remedied!

Breakfast was great with loads of choice. It’s very picky, but some biscuits on the tea tray would be nice! The rooms are not cheap and it’s those little extras that make the stay even better.

I was pleased with the shower in my room and the black out curtains which was especially helpful after a long trip. It was a quiet hotel and the staff were responsive to my needs and very friendly. The hotel is in a convenient location and very easy to access, which made getting around simple and stress-free. The cleanliness throughout the hotel stood out straight away - everything was well maintained and presented to a high standard. The food was also excellent, with a good variety of options that catered to different tastes. What truly made the stay enjoyable, though, was the staff. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and engaged, creating a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Stayed as part of my wife's Birthday weekend break and a card and cake was awaiting her in our room - a nice touch which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was really excellent The shower unit in our room seemed well designed but we couldn't adjust the temperature properly and the unit juddered, as though there was some sort of air pocket in the pipes. I reported it to the receptionist on checking out.

When I booked, breakfast was included and I had the price as a genius member I ended up having to pay £48 for our breakfast and I had an omelette that had a huge hair in it and then my daughter wouldn’t eat!! It wasn’t ideal and again breakfast was included
