• Aysha (10/5): - We were scammed by a different so called 5 star hotel, so we checked out early and checked into the intercontinental. This hotel was great and actually a 5 star- clean, comfy, staff were courteous and the best was the breakfast, such a variety! The location is far from the old town and tourist sites but we were fine with getting a grab in the morning, spending time in the main touristy area and then returning in the evening.

Being first time in Hanoi, that experience gave me a good impression of Hanoi because of these wonderful people.

In particular, I would like to highlight the outstanding support from the trainees, Nguyen Tran Khanh Linh and Nguyen Thi Lan Anh. When we returned to the hotel after missing dinner, they kindly assisted us with ordering food through the local app (Grab), helping us choose the menu and ensuring everything was delivered smoothly to our room. In addition, they provided thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, things to be cautious about during the trip, and even suggested a list of gifts for family and friends. Their support felt very much like that of a concierge, and what impressed me most was their proactive attitude and genuine care, especially as trainees. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Thanks to them, our trip became much more enjoyable and memorable. I sincerely appreciate their kindness and dedication.

Chi provided so much information that we need to know of the areas that we wanted to visit. Not only that she gave us a wonderful gift before we left, Chi also called the next hotel that we were going to so that we can get a room upgrade. And due to her diligence and prompt service, the staff members at the next hotel already knew about us before we even got there. Nothing. We loved everything. From the A-la-carte breakfast to evening cocktails. Will definitely stay at L72 again when we're back in Hanoi.

A huge thank you to Chau, Hang, Thuy, Chi, and Anh—they truly went out of their way to make our time special. Their wonderful customer service and attentiveness were outstanding, setting a high standard for hospitality. The lounge itself has a very relaxing, business-type atmosphere—perfect for unwinding with tasty food and beverages throughout the day. The downstairs breakfast spread was plentiful, with a fantastic variety of options for both food and drinks. My personal favorites were the refreshing coconut water and the excellent coffee—both hit the spot every morning. The staff throughout were very good and highly attentive to our needs, contributing to an overall seamless and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury with genuine warmth in Hanoi!

Good service, very nice bf (huge) and also a nice steakhouse (for VN standard). All have killer views depending on fog/smog! Only negative is it’s far away from city centre and my business districts so not for everyone and specifically not for tourists!!! (My visit was business). Summary, excellent hotel but location must fit for purpose for you)

The hotel is located on the highest floors of the building, and the Club Lounge is on the 71st floor. From there, you can enjoy a very wide and beautiful view. It is said to be the highest and largest Club Lounge in Asia. During our stay, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The facilities were modern and well maintained. The hotel also provided a free extra bed for our child, which was very helpful for families. The breakfast was good, with many choices. In the afternoon and evening, we enjoyed afternoon tea and dinner at the Club Lounge on the highest floor. There were many food options, including Vietnamese dishes and a variety of Korean instant noodles. You can easily spend the whole day relaxing in the hotel. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I would like to thank the Club Lounge staff for their professional service and warm smiles. Their service made our stay truly enjoyable.

The facilities especially the level 7 Gym was well maintained and spacious. The most captivating part of this hotel is the Executive lounge at Level 70 with a panoramic city view which is breathtaking. Enjoying my evening cocktail and dinner by the lounge window are just memorable. I wanted to commend on Mr Tien & his front desk team for their professionalism and attentiveness to every details of my stay.

The location was a little far from the city centre, which was somewhat inconvenient for sightseeing, but I had no problem using the grab. Breakfast and lounge meals were delicious especially the afternoon tea. I even attended a Zumba class at the gym you can have access to and it was well worth the extra activity.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our operator, Ms. Hang, who kindly provided directions to the hotel when access was difficult due to flooding. Ms. Hang was friendly and professional, and provided precise directions to the hotel. Without her, I would not have been able to access the hotel when the access roads around the hotel were difficult. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the lounge staff (Dieu, Hong, Anh, Lan, Thao) for their kind smiles and hospitality. I also appreciate Jo Yejin, whom I met at check-out, for her kindness.
• thienthien2 (10/5): Incredible staffs - I stayed last month (30/9/2025) on that day the weather was absolutely not good but I want to say thank you to Mr. Nghia - who did a check-in process for me and also Mr. Duc - bellman - the person to supported us a lot when I wanted to book a grab to pick us up from the airport. Both of them are doing an incredible job. Will come back in the future

• mattandmeg99883 (10/5): Great option in the area - Overall I really liked the place. We booked a club room for a flight the following day and got placed on almost the top floor. The view over the city is amazing. The concierge was really helpful giving me a ton of information for a request about shopping. Especial thanks to Thao, Lan, Ahn, Cong and Dieu, and a special thanks to Chi for answering my weird questions about history! A few things to be aware of: The hotel is quite Korean focused with half the menu Korean foods. I generally like Korean food and spice, so this was fine for me. Also it is so high up that my asthma actually played up, lol. Keep the inhaler handy!

• aimeegarciab (10/5): Excellent Customer Service - Intercontinental Hanoi Landmark72 is the recommended hotel in Hanoi. The amenities are fascinating. The buffet area is clean, nice food, excellent service, smiling & helpful staff. Also, the executive club lounge in 71st floor is good for relaxing while having tea, coffee & desserts (dinner food as well) and the staffs are smiling and very helpful with our needs. I would like to recommend Lan, Anh, Hong & Diell for providing excellent customer service during our stay. Thank you for taking an extra mile with us. We really appreciate it so much. Keep it up the good work!

• cykw0ng (10/5): The Hotel Worth Coming Back - My wife and I returned to this hotel for the third time over the years, mainly because of the good sized rooms and service. We were not disappointed this time as the service remains high, be it the front desk, the concierge, the housekeeping and 3 Spoons Restaurant. All the staff were helpful, trying to exceed our expectations. We are particularly impressed by the service of Ms Nguyen Thi Huong, the Assistant 3 Spoons Manager. During our 7 nights stay, she always proactively noted our breakfast preferences and tried her best to have them fulfilled. It was very gratifying that she served with a lovely smile. The Concierge team of Huyen and Hoa was also very helpful as they updated us every day on the road closure for military parade rehearsals for the National Day. Moreover, they recommended some good local restaurants for us to explore. We had the opportunity of meeting the GM, Mr Patrick Verove , who was extremely friendly.

• Tuakah (10/5): - Very nice hotel with exceptional staff. Book here if you want a nice view of the city. Only problem with this hotel was the humidity in the rooms. Rooms feel muggy and could use a humidifier to clean the air. Outside of the air quality, my room and view was amazing and clean. I would stay here again if air quality/moister is fixed.

• Yagas (9/5): Despite it being a short stay, we had a great time there. - The staff were really friendly especially the concierge team. We went during the time Vietnam was experiencing typhoon. Vehicles were hard to book but the concierge team went beyond and above for us to book a taxi for us so we could attend our meeting.

My Club room on the 70th floor was spacious, quiet, and beautifully appointed, with sweeping views across the city. The welcome fruit basket on arrival was a classy touch. The Club Lounge is the highlight: it’s large and comfortable, and the team consistently goes out of their way to make you feel looked after throughout the day. I enjoyed afternoon tea and evening canapés on multiple evenings—both were generous, fresh, and varied, easily comparable to a full dinner buffet. The wines and cocktails were also top‑notch. Breakfast was equally strong: a large, well‑curated selection of Western and Asian options, excellent coffee (very important to me), and attentive, efficient service. I also had the lunch buffet at 3 Spoons once and it was excellent, again with a very broad selection and high quality. Overall, I loved my stay. As someone who travels to Hanoi frequently for business, this hotel nails the essentials—comfortable rooms, great F&B, and genuinely caring service. I’ll gladly return and highly recommend it to fellow business travelers.

• dazzawot (10/5): Amazing service - This hotel is outside the old quarter city and is a short taxi ride away from most sites etc. The hotel is on the high floors so be prepared for a lift ride but amazing views. Pool area is part of a heath club not part of the hotel but you have access to. It’s a big but uninspiring area. Rooms are big maybe a little dated but super clean and well maintained. Public areas are nice and modern and good choice of food options with great food. Seafood buffet night is a must try. However the staff are what makes this hotel Nothing and I mean nothing is a bother and they will try their hardest to fix any problem. Be prepared for Vietnam service compared to western service but the staff tried so hard to please. They suggested and arranged extra local dishes for breakfast for us to try, answering any of our questions the best they could. Our plans were changed due to typhoon and Quynh (duty manager) helped me arrange transfers and extended our next leg of the journey, going over and above what see needed to do. Even leaving the hotel is a pleasure with a waiting lounge downstairs while your transfer arrives If you want outside the city and exceptional and caring service, this is the place.

• globetrottery2023 (10/5): An oasis up in the air - This is a new experience for me. Located in Keangnam, Hanoi, a predominantly Korean neighbourhood, it has a Korean touch in almost everything, which is quite refreshing for me. That is, if one is not inundated with Korean culture in your face constantly at home. So the offerings are Korean or Korean-inspired with a mix of international fare. During my stay, almost all the other guests were Korean and it made me wonder, why Koreans prefer to eat and drink Korean in Vietnam and be surrounded by their hometown feel when travelling internationally? Nevertheless, I found it quite remarkable that the hotel has provided offerings and amenties geared towards the Korean clientele, and I was lucky to be able to experience both Korean and Veitnamese culture in Hanoi. This is a five-star hotel with luxurious amenites and the staff I had the opportunity to come in contact with, tried their best and were eager to provide that professional yet friendly touch, at all times. Mr Le Khac Tien, the FOM, went out of his way to greet me upon arrival and waved me off when I left. Very nice!! His team was aware of my requests and needs and although some of them were new, they did make the greatest effort to learn and were modest and helpful. Huyen at the Club Lounge was professional, knowledgeable and extremely experienced. Tho wanted to learn English (why not) and was constantly around to ensure that I was taken care of. Chi came to say hello and we indugled in some friendly converstion. The others were just as pleasant to talk to and were attentive. The location was ok for me. A Grab car would take you anywhere. I went to a couple of museums with Grab and it worked out well. Minimal traffic. I will stay again and now salivating over the Korean food.

• johnnysS8231QV (10/5): The nicest hotel -- with two of the nicest staff we've ever encountered! - My wife and I (celebrating our 38th Anniversary) had the nicest stay. Starting with taxi drop (effective & nice bellmen), to the exit (again with the nicest bell staff), everything went superbly! And, two ladies (Ms. Vy, and Ms. Huyen) were absolutely the nicest and genuinely-caring I've ever encountered (in fourty years of travel & 1000+ hotel nights). They helped us in every way (e.g. hotel tips, banking, sight-seeing, tour selection, and transportation). Ms. Huyen, the Concierge, even accompanied us down (62 floors) to our limousine-- making sure all instructions were communicated flawlessly (since we do not speak/understand Vietnamese). Dinner, Club, and gourmet breakfast (at 3 Harbors [?], was excellent. I loved seeing the F & B manager walking around! Thank you, Team Landmark72 !

The breakfast has provided great food and good selections. The menu also slightly changes every day. The view from the club and our room is unbeatable, we can see the river and the mountains.
