- 禾廷 (10/5): - 老闆娘人太好了

- Mei Sim (9/5): - The breakfast was delicious and nutritious. The dinner was made with a lot of care, love and unpretentious. My fussy partner said it was the most delicious dinner he had in Japan.
This place has the cleanest shared communal spaces(e.g. kitchen, toilet and shower) that I’ve been to.
Close to shops and bus terminal. The heating can be a bit noisy.
- Lok Crystal (10/5): -
- WEN (9/5): -
- Liwen (10/5): warm hearted. - I was traveling alone and came down with a fever in this hotel, feeling very lonely. I’m so grateful to the elderly lady at the hotel for taking care of me. The hotel is warm, quiet, and close to Happo-one. nothing

- Tsz (10/5): Perfect experience for a cost effctive hotel - Location perfect, close to the bus station and convenient store, the room is clean and new, everything is new and comfortable, if I go back to Hakuba in future, I definitely consider this place first. this is not a bad point, As the hotel is the restaurant at the same time, actually, I want to try the food there. However, somehow it is difficult to know the opening hours of the restaurant.
- Tean (10/5): Cozy, Hospitable, Affordable and Convenient Place to Stay - Exceptionally hospitable and helpful staff.
Very convenient location - situated near Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal and many good eateries.
Spotless rooms, washrooms and common areas.
Has a drying room for all ski equipment and an in-house onsen. Love it.
You can also request for a Yukata. A mirror in the room would be a nice touch, but there are mirrors in the washroom and cleaning areas, so it's not really an issue.
Toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and shaving needs were not provided. But it's okay; there's a 24/7 LAWSON nearby.
- Tim (10/5): Clean, friendly with great food and coffee. Highly recommended. - Lovely home vibe and friendly owners who made me feel right at home. Ringoya had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable snowboarding trip to Hakuba. I would love to stay here again. The snow plows were noisy at night but no one can help it.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Joel (10/5): Ringoya was the best place to stay in Hakuba. Convenient location and the hosts were amazing! - Japanese style breakfast was delicious
- Carmelita (9/5): What a gem! - The entire lodge was warm, unlike some older lodges that had freezing corridors. It was also clean and pleasant smelling. Nothing
- Jack (9/5): Superb -
- Billy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derek (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (10/5): Short Snow Trip stay - Great location being only a short walk to Happo bus terminal. Had a small but hot bath, which is amazing after a day of skiing. Great coffee on site too.
Room was really comfortable with everything you expect from Japanese style room. Hardly any noise from anywhere and slept so well every night.
Comfortable common area for meals and just relaxing. I didn't use the kitchen but looked like there was plenty to prepare small meals if needed.
Has a drying room and place to do minor tuning but also near Woody's if you need professional service.
Clear explanation of facilities in English and Japanese. Staff were amazing! Bath is a bit small so avoid during peak bath times. The pay public bath is only a short walk though.
- Calvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Max (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional - I loved staying at Ringoya. A lovely Guest House with very kind and welcoming hosts. The rooms are lovely Japanese rooms with tatami mats and futon mattresses, which I found very comfortable.
The shared men's and women's toilets are close to the rooms and very clean. The shared kitchen and dining, lounge are is great too, allowing you the option to cook your own meals and catch up with others.
There is a men's and women's public (shared) bath area. A lovely hot bath to relax in after the day. It is small, and while I was there I was the only one in it each time I used it, but could seem a little cosy if there were a few people using it at the same time. There is a private bathroom and shower too.
The japanese breakfast and the evening resturant meal with their hand made soba is incredible.
Absolutely loved staying there a day would definitely stay there next time e I'm in hakuba.
Location is a 3 minute walk from the shuttle bus terminal in happo.
- Finn (10/5): Best staff ever ! -
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice hosts who helped me when my flight was cancelled. Comfortable room and easy to walk to Happoone and restaurants
- Omar (9/5): Superb -
- Zach (10/5): Exceptional - Owner was lovely. Place was clean. Room was large for a single, loved the basic Japanese style One shower may be problematic for some people. Not an issue for my stay
- Yoshi (9/5): I will go back Ringoya again in the future. - The hospitality of the staff was outstanding—friendly and welcoming.
The famous Japanese soba served for lunch and dinner at Ringoya was delicious and exceeded my expectations.
The kitchen, dining, and lounge area for in-house guests was cozy and comfortable.
The location is excellent, especially due to its proximity to the Hakuba bus terminal, other shops, and restaurants. While the kitchen, dining, and lounge area was sufficient during my stay, I felt that it could be expanded to accommodate more guests during peak times. However, I personally had no issues during my stay and enjoyed meeting with other guests from various countries.
- Luke (10/5): Very friendly staff and comfortable stay. Highly recommend! - Very friendly staff, they were kind enough to refund a night of stay when our flight got delayed by a day and were happy for us to leave our bags with them before check-in time so we could hit the Happo-One slopes after arriving and also let us leave our bags after checkout till the afternoon.
Everything was clean and tidy. Drying room in the basement for boots and gloves, etc. My boots didn't fully dry in the drying room, but my brothers did, so maybe mine just take more to dry.
- Julie (8/5): Great location, comfortable. It did the job perfectly. - Lovely room, very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helping. There's a brand new common area for cooking and eating, a nice 'onsen' which is great to relax after a day of snowboarding, and a basement room for rentals. I wish the room had a small table lamp for extra comfort, as it only had a ceiling lamp. But that's it.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - I can't express how much I love my stay at Ringoya. Everything there is great and I get to experience the full tatami stay and the hosts are very friendly and helpful, I will definitely book again for my next snowboarding trip Nothing at all

- Shi (10/5): Exceptional - I love the coziness of staying in a ryokan (: Host is a nice elderly Japanese lady who is conversational in basic English. She had been helpful and offering things like a free cookies that made my day. Had a pleasant stay and will stay here again if I ever come to Hakuba. -

- Ernst (10/5): Exceptional - Imagine you had Japanese grandparents that have a really big house I a skiing town. That's how staying a Ringoya felt to me.
Wonderful Japanese inn with Tatami rooms and a public bath. Even a games room with table tennis and board games. I regret not booking breakfast because it looked delicious.
- Taariq (8/5): The Ringoya traditional Japanese guest house is a well run and comfortable place to stay in Happo. - The traditional Japanese breakfast was healthy and enjoyable. Somebody should have warned me that Hakuba has become another Bali but with snow.
There are far too many white bread Australian people there. Some of them are not well behaved.
It didn’t feel like I was in Japan!
It was not what I want out the travel experience when I travel abroad to a different culture and country.
