- sweet-ice1 (10/5): The perfect stay for Oia & seeing the iconic blue domed Church - Aplai Dome is in the perfect location for Oia, it is a 7 minute walk to town & the bus station. All the buses go to Fira & then you can change to wherever you want to go. It is off the main road so you don’t get all the noise. I stayed for two nights in October 2025. The room is nice with good WiFi, & ample plug sockets. The bathroom has a good shower. Air con works well. Breakfast is nice outside overlooking the pool with a variety of salad, fruit, cereal, bacon, eggs, pasties, cakes, juices & hot drinks. The pool is large but not heated so can be on the chilly side. Nice to lounge around the pool in the sun. The perfect stay for Oia & seeing the iconic blue domed Church at anytime of day.

Breakfast was so delicious. We rented a car 1 day and chrisa called the company and got us our car taken to the hotel in 10 mts, and they go pick it up also . So very convenient. Loved our stay In oia would definitely recommend this hotel . I know I would go back !!!

Also the staff at pool bar are Amazing and so friendly . Food there was Good by the way including Breakfast. Location 5 minute walk to town and ammenities.

- michaelrR4942TK (10/5): An excellent small hotel, very friendly and just minutes walk from the town of Oia. - A very warm welcome and excellent service from all of the staff at this lovely little hotel. We were with friends and were given adjoining rooms/junior suites, ours had a very large terrace with lovely views out to sea and just a ten step walk to the infinity pool. Room service including changing bedding and towels was almost daily. The poolside bar and restaurant area was staffed by excellent members of the team, the drinks were reasonably priced and food , Pizzas, salads, etc were very nice and prepared freshly as ordered. Breakfast was more than adequate with a range of cold options alongside eggs, bacon etc. The fresh orange juice was to die for. It's a 10 minute uphill walk into Oia with all it has to offer. No problems for this 75 year old ! The lady in charge was a mine of useful information and offered advice on restaurants and even advised on and booked a magnificent half day catamaran trip which included food, drink. swimming and culminated in an unforgettable sunset experience with cocktails. Thank you Aplai Dome and all of your staff, you made our holiday an exceptionally good one, and we've been on a few !!.

Chris at front desk was very helpful. She arranged transportation from the port, gave great recommendations, and overall very helpful. She tried helping us with rental car as well, but we needed a larger car than most rental cars offer. So if you need a big SUV book that in advance. Our room had the jacuzzi and a great view of the sunset! Parking lot is small so if you are renting car or big SUV it may be tight and you may have to park somewhere not on property so consider that.

Toki se ei vain majoituspaikan syy jos maassa ei asiaa ole hoidettu mutta veden säästämisestä, roskaamisen vähentämiseen voisi kannustaa. Ja esim. Pois aamiaisella pienet, yhden asiakkaan lasiset hillo ja hunajapurkin kyllä niin turhaa roskaa.

Infinity pool with adjacent bar where included breakfast was served. Very friendly staff, nice momento gift when leaving. Treated ourselves to Aspa restaurant for sunset dinner, fantastic!

- 8KimB (10/5): Loved this hotel! - We only stayed one night to visit family in Oia. We felt very lucky to have found this hotel through booking.com. The service was excellent. This included before we even arrived, some lovely messages from Chrisa asking about our stay. Upon arrival it was so nice to be met by her and given lots of advice on places to go in Oia. We were a little early but had a nice snack by the pool. Again service by the bar staff was fantastic. The view by the pool is beautiful and a great place to cool down and relax. As soon as our room was ready we were shown around and able to access it a little earlier. The hotel is located just a 10minute walk from the main centre of Oia. Our room had a jacuzzi on the balcony. Great views and a lovely way to relax. There was a complimentary large bottle of water in the fridge, coffee/tea and kettle, lovely large rooms, clean and modern looking. Breakfast was served by the pool, again this was excellent with a good choice of cold and hot food. We had parking for our hire car and when we left were given a small but lovely gift. It really is the little touches that can set a hotel out for all the right reasons. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Oia and we would go back (we would have stayed another night but our room wasn’t available!).

It had plenty of space and a Jacuzzi on the balcony which overlooked the sunset every night. The staff here were all so welcoming and happy and very informative. I really cannot fault this place. The 5-minute walk to oia was actually a nice walk, albeit uphill. I really enjoyed getting out of the chaos and crazy streets and am so glad we chose to stay a bit further out. I would 100% stay again and have already started recommending it!

- TeacherGirlRose (10/5): The perfect place to stay in Oia - Aplai Dome was the perfect hotel in Oia. From the very moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home. They were warm and welcoming and attentive to anything we needed. The hotel is a very short walk to the caldera. I loved being very close but just a little removed from all the hustle and bustle of town. The view from our room was breathtaking and we could see the colors of the gorgeous sunset. During the day, you see fields with horses grazing as well as blue sky for miles. It was lovely to sit and read and have a drink by the pool. When we wanted to see the rest of the island, the staff was helpful in arranging transportation, tours, setting up a rental car for us and providing directions to help us navigate all around. The breakfast was great, too. There were waffles, pancakes, as well as yogurt, fruits, sausages and eggs. Aplai Dome was a fabulous place to stay!
- alvarohpic (10/5): Great Hotel with perfect location next to Oia - Aplai Dome is an amazing place to stay during your visit to Santorini, it is 5 minutes walking to Oia the most beautiful village in the island. Elpida and the rest of the staff were so kind, we appreciated their help. Breakfast is quite good, served next to the swimming pool. Rooms are quite big, and they have their own kitchen. If you want to go walking to Oia, we suggest to go crossing the bus parking nearby, it is safer for pedestrians that way. If you rent a car, there’s a small parking in the hotel as well.

The manager was lovely , recommended restaurants / bar, kindly offered to organise transports / excursions etc if , we were also given a glass of vinsanto, friendly wee dog & cat live at the property, lovely special touches. Centre of Oia is 7mins walk. Rooms are spacious, airy, compliments to cleaning lady , rooms cleaned everyday/fresh towels , we were in room 8 and it had a great balcony , again amazing views. Breakfast was great , breakfast plate with egg , sausage , bacon, fruit & pastry’s , coffee , orange juice , I thought it was impressive for the price we paid , again a lovely friendly welcome from bar staff. - abb1000 (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Wonderful peaceful hotel in beautiful Oia with amazing sunset. We had a jacuzzi suite with our family of 4 ( with 2 teenagers). Slightly small but kids loved the jacuzzi, and a great base to explore beautiful Santorini and close enough to Oia (8 minute walk) to explore at times to avoid the huge sunset crowds.

- Sergio (6/5): A Blend of Warmth and Shortcomings - Our stay at the Aplai Dome Hotel in Santorini was marked by the exceptional kindness of its staff, particularly Esperanza, who surprised us with her perfect Spanish. The breakfast team mirrored this warmth, further enhancing our stay. However, the room rate of $320 USD per night raised our expectations for amenities and services, some of which were unfortunately not met. Firstly, the absence of a luggage service was noticeable, leaving us to manage our luggage to our rooms. In-room, we noticed the lack of bedside reading lights, a standard amenity in many establishments. Additional inconveniences included the lack of complimentary beverages in the mini-fridge, and only one room key provided. Returning late, we found the need to send a WhatsApp message for someone to unlock the door, another minor yet noticeable inconvenience. While such elements might be overlooked in a budget accommodation, they are less acceptable in a higher-priced establishment, particularly one located in a tourist hotspot like Santorini. Hence, despite the warm hospitality extended by the commendable staff, our overall rating for Aplai Dome is a measured three stars. While the hotel has a strong foundation in its attentive and friendly staff, there are evident areas of improvement that need to be addressed to justify the current room rates and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Oliver (10/5): Amazing 3 Night Stay! - We stayed for 3 nights at Aplai Dome and had an amazing time! The location is great for exploring Oia, but peaceful as it’s set back from the main street. The hotel is clean, with a lovely bar and pool area (which you can watch the sunset from undisturbed)! We’d definitely return in the future!
- 5Lemons (10/5): Super Oia stay - Stayed here for 3 nights and can say it was a most wonderful experience. Location is perfect a short walk from Oia centre and the hotel is a relaxing oasis with superb views. Breakfast freshly made each morning is great overlooking the pool and sea beyond. All staff went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. Special thanks to Elpida for our anniversary bottle of Prosecco and Stamatis (Manager) for organising our Catamaran trip which we thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to see you all again for a longer stay.
- maria (10/5): - Only 10 apartments, pretty new and well maintained. Has a parking lot and breakfast is really good, lots of variety. This hotel is located 10 mins walk from the sunset view location in Oia, as well to restaurants, etc. And it gives you the option of staying away from the crowds if you want privacy and quiet. Staff is amazing! Even though reception desk is not open 24/7, staff is accessible via WhatsApp and show up quickly.
- JimandHel (10/5): Our perfect stay for one night - We were staying for 10 nights in the south of the island but decided to book a one night stay at a hotel in Oia. Found this hotel on Tripadvisor, had great reviews, so decided to splash out and have a night in the honeymoon hot tub suite (although it wasn’t our honeymoon). It more than met our expectations! The room was modern, clean, stylish, excellent bathroom and facilities throughout. The best feature was our huge private balcony area with sun loungers, hot tub, and fantastic views overlooking the caldera. We spent most of the day on the balcony and enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset with a drink in our fabulous hot tub. Absolute heaven! The pool area is very nice, with fantastic views and comfortable sun loungers. The bar area is also great, we had an amazing club sandwich and mojito (which they brought to our room). The staff here are really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was really good, plenty of nice choices, and served at the pool bar, so lovely views to enjoy when eating. We went into Oia in the evening for a meal. It’s a beautiful place, and we enjoyed walking around the narrow streets and alleyways. But we were looking forward to going back to our hotel room so we could enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub. This was probably the best day of our holiday thanks to this wonderful hotel. I hope to stay here again one day. Perfect!
- 32aviramm (6/5): We were disappointed - We follow TripAdvisor and use it to make decision in many trips a year that we take. Same was true here, the place deserves a mix rating. It has 14 rooms all facing the sea ( not the caldera) it is a short distance ( 10 minutes) to the heart of Oía. Breakfast was good and the personnel was friendly. The rooms were not furnished to deserve more than 3 stars. The room cleanliness was lacking and the price was relatively high.

- WeLoveHolidaysAbroad (10/5): Beautiful hotel, with stunning sunset views - Our room wasn’t quite ready so we had a drink at the bar and were very impressed that our cases had been moved into the room for us before they called us. The room was spotlessly clean, but we felt it was a little on the small side. There was very limited storage space. One wardrobe with about 5 hangers for two people. No drawers etc. This didn’t bother us though. We just opened one case and put the other case contents on the wardrobe base. The ground floor walks out onto the lovely pool area. Sun beds not a problem here. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Bacon, egg, sausage, Mediterranean, cereal, juice, coffee. The walk into Oia is very brief, but all uphill. Again, didn’t bother me in the slightest. I was glad of a bit of exercise. I would definitely stay here again. Charis and George were lovely, and there was another bar tender who was also really lovely but I didn’t catch his name. Beds and pillows very comfy. Hotel toiletries lovely too. Thank you for a memorable stay, I hope we come back one day. ❤️

- himaris (10/5): Wish I could have stayed longer!! - This place is practically perfect for any visits to Oia and my only regret is that I couldn't have stayed longer. It is a lovely, quiet, and laid back resort and luxurious in a way that still feels homely. The staff are extremely friendly from start to end and will make you feel right at home. They are also very knowledgeable about the local area and will tell you all the best places to hit up. I really enjoyed the modern interior of our rooms. They were clean, well decorated, and amply supplied with lots of amenities in the bathroom and stocked with cutlery in the kitchenette. The poolside is also clean with a great view of the sunset from here. It was also stellar food and drink-wise. Breakfast was great - fresh continental foods served by the poolside and never too busy. The people manning the bar are always friendly and chatty. Most of all - there is an extremely friendly hotel cat who will most likely make her presence known to you. It is in a great location; 5-10 minute walk up the road till you get to the centre. It's great to retreat back from the hustle of central Oia, though you do have to be alert because of the amount of traffic that will be along the way. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who is coming to Oia. It is a perfect place for families and couples. Massive commendations to all the staff working there
- Cassandra (10/5): Santorini - Aplai Dome 5 🌟 stars - We stayed here 5 nights on our way to Milos. From check in time with Charis #1 to the free breakfast with Charis #2 and the rest of the team. Our time at Aplai Dome was just excellent. Dinner reservations help? -check, recommendations on beaches to go? -check, airport/port transfers? (without the overcharge) -check. The suites were exceptioal, the daily housekeeping was superb (performed by a lovely couple) and I highly recommend getting the room with the spa. Sunsets will never be the same. If you find yourself hungry at night the staff is more than willing to help you and call a local restaurant that will deliver the food directly to your room. Of course if you want something outside their food menu. Everything is a close walk 5-7 minutes on average. I do suggest getting a Quad ATV if you can - which can be delivered to the hotel. Overall our stay was 👏 fantastic and if you ever need anything reach out to Stamatis and he or anyone else in the team will make sure you are taken care to your satisfaction.
- Neil (10/5): Great hotel - Aplai Dome is a great hotel for a stay in Santorini. It is well located in Oia, a short walk from the main town but far enough away to be quiet. The staff are excellent (in particular Charis, who was extremely helpful) and there is a good breakfast in the morning. There is a lovely pool from which you can see the beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend if you are staying in Santorini.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quieter stay in Oia - There are definitely more luxurious places to stay on Santorini but this works for those not wanting to pay those prices. While they do not have the stereotypical views of other properties on Oia, I much preferred this location with it being an easy walking distance to Oia without the crowds of Oia. It was easy for us to walk to enjoy the typical sunsets and restaurants of Oia without having to wake up or be disturbed by the huge crowds that flock there during the day and at sunset. Rooms were comfortable, staff friendly, and small pool area perfect for relaxing. The honeymoon suite had a hot tub which was small and not worth the extra. All the rooms have an outdoor sitting area.

If there is any negative, it would be that you need to walk up the main road, which can be hazardous and a bit crazy, to the city center area.part of the way , you need to share the narrow road with cars and other part has a bumpy sidewalk which was not very conducive to heels or wedges.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - One of the best hotels my friend and I have stayed in: super friendly and helpful staff who are very welcoming, delicious breakfast spread, very clean property throughout, good amenities, perfect location in terms of being near enough to the heart of Oia without having to use public transport but also not too close to the masses of tourists. Our only “constructive feedback” would be if the rooms had one or two towel rails in the bathroom. Otherwise, thank you so much to the staff for making our stay so pleasant!!

Flight got in at 4am and we had reached out to the hotel for suggestions of what we could do; they were able to arrange a car from the airport for us, and accommodated our early arrival by setting us up in a guest room while we waited to checkin. With the number of rooms at the hotel and the staff who was there from morning to night, it definitely felt like a B&B and we could actually get to know some of them. Everyone was also helpful in getting us some great tables at the restaurants we were looking at, as well as reserving a rental car that picked us up right at the hotel.

The owner and all of the staff are accessible and friendly at all hours and extremely attentive to all needs and details. The owner would go above and beyond to make sure that everything about your stay was enjoyable from getting local wines and setting up four wheeler rentals to all the personal details you may have. This place will not stay at the wonderful rates that are unbeatable for the area for such nice rooms with balcony's overlooking the pool and facing the sunset that everyone on the island buses in to see from the top of the road and you don't have to take off your bathing-suit to enjoy it . If you are lucky enough to find this place with availability it is 10000% worth it! Don't forget to rent your four wheeler!!!

Also rooms could use a dresser and full length closet for storing clothes. We had to live out of our suit cases as there was no place for clothes.
