- Brian (10/5): - Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!

David and Lynn are the nicest hosts, and everything has been wonderful, from the beautiful location to the breakfast with anything you could wish for. They provide a form to fill up with your breakfast preferences (veg option very appreciated!) in addition to standard breakfast items, which I find very mindful and smart. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and they have a nice common area with a beautiful view of the river. Yeah, walls can be thin, but the place is very peaceful, so nothing that earplugs can't solve, but again, our only night there was very comfortable. Hope to stay there again!

- Brianna (10/5): Lovely B&B - The breakfast each morning was amazing! 10 pounds per person and worth it. David and Lynn were friendly hosts. There’s a communal sitting area with a fireplace that we hung out at in the evenings where we were able to meet other guests from around the world. Overall it was a great stay!
- Bryony (8/5): - great breakfast, great location but ultimately not worth £120 per night. my biggest issue with this property is the parking. if you have a small car, easy! but we have a large car & getting through the small entrance & exit way was a difficulty every time plus the trust we put in the other guests to not hit our vehicle was large.

- Amy (8/5): Quaint, limited services - Charming, quiet, and not far from town. A little hard to find using GPS, but owners send a detailed email on how to get there. Breakfast is only available for one hour, so if you need to sleep in past 9a you’ll have to find somewhere else. There is a co-op grocery about 10 min away for prepared food and such, but there are no facilities at Loch Eyre to prepare anything. Not even a microwave. That would be nice to see even if it were in the common room where there is a small apartment sized fridge to put drinks. I would stay here again and would recommend giving it a try. Quelques points négatifs : - surface annoncée de 32 m2 alors que nous y sommes très loin. - sur l'annonce, il est écrit un lit double et deux lits simples alors qu'il s'agit de lits superposés (pas pratique pour des ados et pas de photos sur l'annonce !). - pas de chaises dans la chambre malgré la présence d'un bureau avec le nécessaire pour se faire un café. - la présence de détritus sur le parking (avec vu depuis ma chambre). Pour le reste, rien à redire. L'hôtel est propre.

They not only found us a room with one of their sister guesthouses which was in the middle of the city but also refunded the entire trip. They were extremely professional and helpful though the entire process.

The house is just incredible, especially the bug room with the fire place, where you unwind after a day of adventure & travel! The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and gave us great tips to explore the area. Amazing stay overall, highly recommend!

- Diane (10/5): - Nice big common area for relaxing in the evening with lots of big windows for a lovely open view of the loch below. Excellent central location for exploring all of Skye. Very clean, nicely decorated. Emily and Adam are the nicest hostess and host, just wonderful, made us feel like we were their only guests and I know they had a full house! Room was on the small side but was clean and comfortable. Nice en-suite bathroom with shower. Definitely would stay here again.

The front sitting room was extremely enjoyable - so cozy at sunset! The staff was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice. I enjoyed the welcome book with details about the owner's favorite things in the area and their story. I highly recommend staying here!
- Sharon (10/5): Be sure to stay here! - This is a great place. The owners are great hosts. The room very comfortable and even has a place to sit out & watch the sun set over the loch. An easy drive to town. Make a dinner reservation so you won’t be disappointed. We liked The Grannery but your hosts will recommend other places.

They made breakfast earlier than it should of been one morning to suit our day which I thought was really nice and helpful. They were were chatty and made us feel comfortable. For anyone looking for somewhere relaxing and nice to stay I would recommend here.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Loch Eyre - The host was very nice, only saw her in the morning for breakfast. The room was clean & cozy but tiny. My luggage barely fit on the floor between the foot of the bed & the closet which obstructed the doorway. I’d take what I needed from my luggage then store it in the closet so we could walk out. We could here people talking in the next room or hallway. If you travel light, are out & about all day and just need a place to sleep the night then it’s an affordable stay.
