- Rosemarie (8/5): Beautiful and secluded - The very private villa looked over some lovely fields making it very relaxed. Sadly workmen came early very close to us and could see into the open bathroom and bedroom, and started felling trees and using a chainsaw. After discussion with the hotel they got the work halted until we left the next day. We really appreciate local people need to go about their work, but for £100 a night we wanted to enjoy it! Initially all the little stones on the large open air bathroom looked quaint. But try walking on them at night or trying to balance having a shower! Lots of comfy places to sit and relax. Pool was great. Breakfast was very good. Food in the restaurant was very good but had run out of several drinks and some food. Overall think it’s a bit pricey, but very beautiful so kinda worth it for the unique factor.

Bei der Auswahl an Ausflügen wurde uns sehr geholfen. Shuttle Service nach Ubud auch kostenfrei vorhanden. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Eine Anmerkung: Die privat Pool Villen und die normalen Villen befinden sich an unterschiedlichen Orten (Fahrzeit mit dem Auto ca 5 Minuten). Es existiert aber ein Shuttle Service, der jederzeit genutzt werden kann. Nichts

- Emma (10/5): Perfect stay ! - We loved the location and the room. Since we decided to upgrade, we learned that the property actually has two locations with two different types of villas. We stayed in the area where the lobby and restaurant are located, which felt more lively and convenient. The villa itself was authentic and really gave us a true Balinese experience. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and the restaurant was excellent. Overall, this place is a true gem and we had a wonderful stay.

- Alexandre (8/5): Dans les rizières - Emplacement idéal, à l’écart d’Ubud, de sa pollution et de ses embouteillages parfois terribles, tout en restant assez proche (environ 10/15 minutes en scooter) par une petite route magnifique à travers les rizières. La villa est également très bien située, à égale distance des principaux points d’intérêt de la région. La vue depuis la villa est très jolie et le cadre est vraiment idyllique. Le personnel est gentil, accueillant et serviable, ce qui est très appréciable. La piscine est malheureusement très froide, donc pratiquement inutilisable, ce qui est dommage compte tenu du cadre. La propreté laisse à désirer : les WC n’étaient pas propres et le sol de la chambre était très sale. Il semble qu’une cire soit appliquée entre les lavages, créant une épaisse couche noire qui salit immédiatement les pieds. Un simple test avec une serviette blanche humide suffit à le constater. Cela reste malheureusement dans les standards de propreté locaux. Autre petit bémol : aucune prise en compte des allergies alimentaires, même les plus basiques (vrai gluten free) ce qui donne une idée de la gestion de l’hygiène.

We rented a scooter to get around. It is very romantic and perfect for honeymooners. The breakfast is not so great, but there are great places nearby to eat.

The staff was so helpfull. Highly recoment to stay there. It is a bit out from Ubud (which was plus for us as Ubud is too busy and to much traffic there) but the hotel provide free transport to town. Me miss the view to the rice field. As it is just a fence around.

Die Bettwäsche war bereits schwarz verschmutzt, und auf dem Bett lagen tote Fliegen. Über den Bereich zwischen den Wänden über dem Bett möchte ich gar nicht erst sprechen. Die Toilette war stark vergilbt – ich wollte sie gar nicht benutzen. Auch der Pool war nicht wirklich sauber; ich habe mich nicht getraut, darin zu schwimmen. Bei so einem Preis erwarte ich mir deutlich mehr Sauberkeit.

La limpieza en general deficiente y el baño que está en un anexo exterior, inodoro. antiguo y deteriorado.Tiene deficiencias en la construcción y entran entran bichos a la estancia , en concreto tuvimos un ratón entrando por la noche y sobre la Cama. We were very much looked after by all staff but unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s name but I managed to get two names Putri and Tari. They were two very kind young lady’s that made our stay even better. We will definitely miss this place and will be staying here again when we visit Bali for the second time. Our villa was so magical and clean. Had the most beautiful outside bathroom and was close to monkey forest, rafting, coffee tasting, jeep sunrise tour, rice filled, temple Goa Gajah and much more. Highly recommend Madani Antique Villas! There was absolutely nothing we did not like about the property.

- Cristobal Claro B (9/5): Ricas vacaciones con gran independencia y pequeños lujos. - Es un lugar muy lindo, con una vista excepcional, las habitaciones tienen gran amplitud y el personal muy preocupado de nosotros. Buen servicio a la habitación y extras que se pueden pedir para una estancia romántica. El baño tenia un problema con el agua caliente, no duraba mucho por lo que una ducha larga o llenar la tina no era posible. La iluminacion de la habitacion era muy tenue por lo que de noche costaba tener una visibilidad muy clara.

The rooms were cozy and full of character, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially lovely Tari who was always there for us. We loved the beautiful surroundings and enjoyed relaxing in the tranquil atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend!

- Laurène (9/5): Nous y serions resté plus longtemps ! - Les bungalows sont superbes, bien décorés et très confortables. Nous sommes arrivés tardivement et nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux. Le repas du soir était très bon. Nous avons pu louer un scooter pour rejoindre Ubud par la suite. Malheureusement il pleuvait lors de notre venue mais l'extérieur de l'hébergement est très mignon et cosy, même si nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. La pluie a ajouté une touche de charme et de cocooning au logement. Nothing.

Aber auch die Zimmer sind schön. Essen war sehr gut! Es hat uns nicht gestört aber man muss sich auf mögliche Mitbewohner wie Geckos oder Frösche einstellen.
- INES (10/5): Estancia de lujo cerca de Ubud - Estuvimos en la villa familiar, que es simplemente increíble. A pesar de que nos llovió algun día, pudimos disfrutar mucho. El personal fue encantándome, sobre todo Tari La calidad del restaurante no es tan buena como otros sitios en los que hemos estado en Bali y el servicio a las habitaciones un poco lento.
- Claire (10/5): Logement exceptionnel, vue inoubliable et personnel aux petits soins - Le personnel était à l'écoute, réactif et très soigneux. Le petit déjeuner était super, très jolie et avec un service en chambre possible. La piscine était très jolie, avec une vue sur les rizières, juste point négatif : froide. La villa était très intimiste, avec une salle de bain typique offrant une superbe vue et des dizaines d'espèces d'oiseaux observables depuis la terrasse (dont deux espèces de Martin pêcheur !). Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel lors d'un épisode de pluie intense sur Bali, résultat humidité + + dans toute la villa. Cela a induit des draps humides et une salle de bain glissante. La présence très importante d'insectes dans la chambre, mais surtout la salle de bain. Cela reste logique au vu de la localisation dans les rizières, qui reste incroyable !

- Guy (10/5): Magnifique séjour dans la Jungle Villa - L'expérience est variable suivant le niveau du logement choisi. C'est une expérience très nature, très proche de la forêt, avec plus ou moins de niveau de confort suivant la villa choisie. Accueil fantastique avant et pendant le séjour. Restaurant très agréable avec une magnifique vue sur les rizières et la forêt, pour le petit déjeuner (exceptionnel), un verre ou le diner. Nous avions choisi d'abord une villa simple, puis avons changé pour la Jungle Villa pour une tout autre expérience. Vous êtes dans une villa comme si c'était chez vous, avec une piscine privée ! Rien

- Larissa (10/5): - Mandani Antique Villas war der erste Stopp unserer Flitterwochen auf Bali. Es hat sich angefühlt, als wären wir im Paradies angekommen. Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll dekoriert, der Service außergewöhnlich — absoluter Luxus. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Das Essen war köstlich und wir haben einige tolle Touren gemacht, die von den Inhabern zu einem Top-Preis organisiert wurden. Zum Beispiel mit Nanda und Awan, die so freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Zudem war es ein Leichtes, jederzeit an den Ort unserer Wahl gebracht zu werden. So besuchten wir mehrmals das Zentrum von Ubud, beeindruckende Tempel und vieles mehr. Wir haben uns absolut wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles! - HATİCE HİLAL (5/5): Daha iyi olabilirdi - Çalışanları ilgili ve çok güleryüzlüydü Öncelikle konum olarak restaurant ve resepsiyona çok uzaktı. Motorbisikletle çok dar ve inişli-yokuşlu bir yoldan ulaşabiliyorduk. Doğa içinde sakin ve sessiz doğa tatili yapmak isterken yan taraftaki her gün sabah erkenden başlayıp akşama kadar süren inşaat seslerine maruz kaldık. İlaçlama eksikliği vardı bizce çünkü çokça böcek ve fare gördük. Havuz ışıklandırması ile ilgili aksaklıklar, dış giriş kapısının giderken kitleme seçeneğimizin olmaması gibi birçok problemle karşılaştık. Bu problemler tolere edilebilir ama bizim gibi sessiz sakin bir doğa tatili arıyorsanız öncesinde işletmeye lütfen sorun odanın inşaat sesine yakın olup olmadığını. Öbür türlü bizim gibi tatilinizi inşaat sesleri ile geçirirsiniz ki bu çok kötü.

Amazing views across the rice fields, and the bathroom was also magical as was listening to the wildlife at night. We had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant reasonably priced and very tasty
- Nadine Neuen.. (4/5): - Gutes Restaurant und freundliches Personal. Sehr gute Massage, obwohl keine professionelle Umgebung. Aufgrund der mangelnden Sauberkeit und wohl auch der Lage in den Reisfeldern werden Tiere wie Mäuse und Ratten in die Zimmer angezogen. Alle vorreservierten Transporte hatten 15-20 min Verspätung. Bilder sind älter vis-à-vis stehen neue Häuser.

- Manfredi (10/5): - Tutto!! Abbiamo fatto due notti per festeggiare il compleanno della mia ragazza che ha adorato tutto di questa villa. Piscina privata, bella e pulita. Giardino curatissimo con un piccolo “soppalco” in cui poter fare colazione con vista risaie ed anche una piccola cucina fuori. Camera da letto enorme, davvero una piccola villa privata. Letto a baldacchino, un altro piccolo letto (forse da utilizzare per trattamenti SPA), un bagno molto grande praticamente all’aperto e dotato di tutti i comfort, dalle bottigliette d’acqua rifornite quotidiniamente ai cotton fioc, spazzolino e cuffia per la doccia. Doccia all’aperto ed una vasca per poter fare un bagno rilassante. Il personale attento ad ogni dettaglio e costantemente disponibile per ogni richiesta, cordiale e gentile. Ho adorato Tari! Sempre sorridente e pronta a dare consigli su cosa visitare e dove mangiare. La colazione in piscina, fenomenale; così come i servizi spa che offrono, direttamente in camera. Buona posizione della struttura, a soli 10 minuti in motore dal centro di Ubud. Niente! Ho adorato tutto.

- Keogh (8/5): Madani Peace - We loved the friendliness of all of the staff and the traditional design of the villa, with a comfortable bed. The location was also special looking across the rice paddy's, it was so peaceful. The pool was the perfect size for a cooling dip. The private villa space was delightful. We also enjoyed the restaurant, which had a well priced menu with some delicious meals to try.the location meant you had lovely elevated views over the country side and was only a short drive from Ubud centre but you feel like you are well away from the chaos. There are also a few other restaurant options within walking distance, so you don't feel too isolated. The only thing we didn't like was the tiled floor in the bathroom, which was very slippery, even before being wet. They looked beautiful but we were very careful when using the bathroom.

Mention spéciale pour le café et cappuccino du restaurant. Un peu loin du centre de Ubud (30min en voiture) si vous souhaitez visiter, mais cependant plus calme.
- Pablo (10/5): Amazing staff, lovely view with a cute villa - all you need for your stay in Ubud! - Beautiful antique villa with a very cute antique charm. The staff was exception and they would do everything to please their guests. Location is lovely as you can see the rice fields and are not to far away from Ubud. There were ants in our room and here and there the villa needs some small little renovation work (e.g. sunbed covers were in poor conditions, ants behind the tv)
- Krisztián (10/5): Extremely lovely people and really nice villas close to nature. - We simply loved our villa being close to the restaurant. The nature is close, but that is an experience to have while in Bali, so let your fear go. :) The sate, the sushi and the sticky rice were so delicious. Though above all others, the people are extremely nice and caring, there is nothing you cannot ask assistance in, you always feel safe and taken care of. Thank you so much for your hospitality, truly exceptional. Nothing I can think of.
