Hans (8/5): - This property offered the best value proposition in the Oregon Coast community of Pacific City during a visit in the first week of March. The room was comfortable and well-appointed for the price point. When the place was redesigned and remodeled, they only built in one small window into the rooms on the west side of the motel grounds. That made the room seem somewhat smaller and more confining than it actually was. So, don't choose this property if you want a room with a view.

It’s hardly door at all and it’s right next to the kitchen. So if you share the room with someone else (even your spouse) you can forget about bathroom privacy.

Delete the desk, provide a tiny night stand and more outlets, move the TV to the wall facing the bed.

Paige (8/5): Motel - What you’d expect from a motel. The price is pretty steep, even for prime summer season…I’m glad we only had to stay one night though, because the sink in the bathroom and the shower were SO small! But it was cute and clean and all we needed for a wedding in town.
Denice (10/5): - The place is way better and nicer than what the pictures lead to be. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We travel with our dog and the guidelines for pets are clear. The room even had a dog towel, bowls and mat. For all the activities around our room was quiet and we got plenty of rest.

James (6/5): Motel is old, room was tiny, location good - Location Room was very small, do 2 people. We were told we had asked for their “economy” room but we don’t remember any choice on room types.
Kathy (8/5): Nice place with good options if traveling with more than 2 people. - The hotel is quaint and had a really nice two-bedroom option that worked for 4 adults. We really appreciated the welcome gift (a bag of snacks) and the loan of some decks of cards so we could play games. The living room lacked enough seating for 4 adults. There was one sofa that could accommodate 3 people. lt sits very low and isn't all that comfortable. The only other seats were stools at an awkward height for using the trays we set up to play cards on. There is also no table for 4 people to use to eat together.

Jesus (10/5): - My husband and I booked a last minute trip to the Coast for Valentine's Day weekend. What a surprise when we got to the property. First off, the check in was super easy and the staff incredibly nice. The room was ADORABLE. Clean, comfortable bed, awesome coffee station in the room, and assigned parking. We'll be back to this place in the future. It's a family run business, so I suggest you support local!

Avery (6/5): - The only reason I chose this spot was because it was dog friendly. The rules around dogs, and the unexpected fees for having a dog make it seem like the least dog friendly place. Also, this is a house in a beach town and they request no sand be in the rooms. How is that possible when you’re at the beach? For the location, rules, and amenities, this place is overpriced.

Karin (10/5): - We stayed here during our road trip down the Oregon Coast. It was a great place to stay with our family. I loved having two separate bedrooms plus the day bed in the living room area. The kitchen was nice to have - ran to the local grocery store the night we checked in and was able to cook breakfast for the family the next morning. The location was excellent. Very close to the Cape Kiwanda Sand Dunes where we spent a morning climbing the dunes and looking at starfish during low tide.

Only thing I might change would be to have a collapsible table and chairs available. There wasn't any great area to eat or play games. All in all it was a great stay and id recommend!

Location was convenient, only a short drive from restaurants and beach at Pacific city. Nothing! We didn't cook or use dishes but I did notice there wasn't any dish soap.

Love that they provided dog bed, blanket, and dishes for the rooms that allow pets - made my little critter feel at home! Super convenient location to restaurants too. Nice and quiet at night, felt safe and secure as a solo traveler during a very busy beach weekend. I was very happy with my experience, but perhaps adding a toaster to the Jr Suite (not sure if other suites have one?), a kettle for boiling water, etc., would make the kitchens more convenient. Also, a picnic table for eating outside in the back grassy area would be a nice touch.

Brower (5/5): Passable - The location was alright. The rooms were clean. The little welcome gift of candies and such was cool. As we were checking in, the guy at the desk basically read us the riot act. Some of it was basic common sense, but literally this is a no fun zone. No drinking, smoking, cussing or fornication pretty much was his speech. Honestly, when I'm on vacation I don't want to stay where someone starts off with me like that. That is the definition of starting off on the wrong foot. There's no AC unit and it got kinda warm there. You can tell someone who doesn't know what they're doing tried and failed with some "renovations". And let's be real, this isn't exactly the Ritz or even a bed & breakfast-it's an old school side of the road motel, which is fine, but let's stop pretending this is a fancy b&b. Then all the little notes all over the two rooms we had screamed out OCD. Outside of that, it's a cute town and a nice beach.
