Warwick gave us a very warm welcome and our bedroom was very large with a four poster bed and adjoining bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable and had a wonderful old world charm about it. There was a substantial continental breakfast the next morning with various cereals, yoghurt, stewed fruit and bread for toasting as well as an array of teas. We would highly recommend a stay here. Nothing that we can think of

Our host was very helpful and It was a very cold weekend in Grenfell and although there was heating provided and an electric blanket the room we had downstairs was a bit cool but we still had a lovely time
- Sarah (10/5): Sensory indulgence - Warwick is an exceptional host! Grenfell Hall has to be seen to be believed- chokkers with history, treasures, and art. The 4 poster bed in the spacious Chapel Room was exceptionally comfy, the decor is luscious, and the room had all the necessaries. Breakfast (continental) was delicious and abundant, in a sumptuous dining room. Highly recommend for a treat! If I’d stayed longer, I’d have needed a writing/work table, and much more lighting.
- Christopher (10/5): - Old world charm and quality of artworks and furnishings.
- Tessa (9/5): Wonderful historic gem. - The whole house is amazing, filled with lovely interesting, sometimes quirky, Victorian/Edwardian period furnishings, paintings and furniture as well as items collected from around the world. Incredible collection. Wallpapers, blinds, curtains, gramophone, chaise longue, silver ware, ornaments, serving dishes, absolutely everything is so accurate for the time, and beautiful! Especially loved the drawing and dining rooms. Also, the wonderful garden surrounding the building.
Clean bathroom with good shower. Great home made cookies.
I especially appreciated that Warwick made a superb effort to cater for me, a coeliac. The heating took ages to warm the room. (But it was very cold outside!)
Due to a dust mite allergy, I found some furniture/carvings too dusty and would like them to be more thoroughly cleaned. However, the bed, bathroom and dining areas were fine. My husband was fine evetywhere and loved it all!
- Janelle (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (10/5): Highly recommended and worth the slight detour from the bigger towns - A stylish period home beautifully presented with a lifetime’s collection of worldly, interesting and charming pieces of furniture, artwork and decor.
We enjoyed an extremely comfortable night in a gorgeous timber 4 poster bed in the Hall’s converted chapel.
Our breakfast was delightfully presented with attention to the smallest detail - including the use of beautiful silverware and glassware.
Warwick is a warmly welcoming host, and we are pleased that we took the road less travelled to spend the night at Grenfell Hall. There was absolutely nothing to not like.
- Sally (9/5): Extraordinary accommodation and delightful, warm hospitality - Warwick was the most marvellous host, we loved his beautifully restored property which is crammed full of treasures collected from his travels across the world, as well as some truly amazing artwork. - Mitch (10/5): We would stay agin if travelling to Grenfell. - Good breakfast, choice of cereals or muesli varieties, fresh fruit, yogurt, 3 different breads, jams or Vegemite and off course coffee or tea. Warwick is an excellent host, on site and available if needed. Happy to answer questions and chat about the house and township. Helpful with driving routes too. No real issues with Grenfell Hall. Grenfell is a small town so be prepared for small town eating choices. Local supermarket is good.
- Kay (10/5): See above - The host Warwick warmly welcomed us from the moment he opened the door to us. Grenfell Hall is a unique B & B property & would definitely stay again N/A

He made sure we had everything we needed, was happy to engage in conversation with us and had great knowledge of the history of this magnificent property. It was a very hot day when we arrived, and we were grateful for the airconditioned comfort.
The breakfast was delicious. No complaints.

- Rhsh2007 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lyndie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robyn (10/5): Well worth a visit, and Warwick is a perfect host. - Grenfell Hall is a beautiful Edwardian home build in 1907, and while its had morphed into a Roman Catholic convent during the 50s, Warwick has returned it to its former glory.
The furnishings are sumptuous, the shared bathroom modern and functional and close to our room, and the art and detail made us feel like royalty.
The balcony overlooks nicely kept gardens and trees - and its all a short stroll from Grenfell's main street.
A wonderful stop thats well worth a small premium. Its probably unavoidable given the age of the place, but there was a bit of a musty or dusty feel to our room - sorted out by opening a few windows.
- Tegan (10/5): Incredible - What a beautiful place to stay. Warwick was so accommodating, and the house, decor and room was amazing. I would highly recommend if you love a vintage / antique vibe, I will definitely recommend this to others and will be going back for sure. The venue is well located and a gentle walk to the town centre but we would have been happy to never leave there was so much to see and enjoy in the venue itself. If you like art and the country this is highly recommended. Plus the breakfast is exceptional.
- Maria (10/5): I loved it so much, bought a gift voucher for a relative - It was like staying in Downton Abbey, very plush, great artwork, and breakfast was set out beautifully. Quality of breakfast ingredients top rate.
- Tanya (10/5): Unique, comfortable accommodation in a lovely small town. - I loved Grenfell Hall - a beautiful old building with bedrooms opening onto the balcony and full of character. Every room is a gallery with works collected by the host Warwick, which is fascinating in itself. But I just loved the atmosphere of the place, with its formal dining room where we had breakfast, creaky floorboards, and cosy sitting room. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a wine in the setting sun, looking out over this peaceful town. Warwick is a great host who bakes a mean cookie. Showers are hot and strong, towels are thick, rooms are big and comfy and we had everything we needed. Thanks Warwick for sharing your unique property. Everything was perfect.
