• Daniela (10/5): - Wonderful, tasty breakfast, location is close to everything yet the space quiet and peaceful. The family here are beautiful people and very polite and friendly both with us and with each other. This is my 6th time to Bali and we loved this place so much we extended our stay here twice - 3 weeks in total. The ratio of value for money vs. comfort + location was on point! I'll definitely be back.

• Muhamad (5/5): Good location comes with a catch - Great location. I could pretty much walk to get anything and anywhere I want. No bikes needed. They serve some good breakfast too. The owner and staffs are also very nice and helpful. But it comes with a major catch in that the room itself is not very comfortable. Overall, if you value location over everything else, there's nothing else like this place but otherwise, stay away. The entire room and its facilities. They are far from comfortable. I was originally looking for a spacious room and it's exactly what I got. But as soon as I arrived, I gotta say the bedroom is too big for its own good. The bed may be big, but the furnishings are minimal. In fact, it's so barren that the bedroom has the acoustic quality of a bathroom, which is to say that it's echo-y. Unfortunately, the bathroom similarities doesn't end there. It's also musty, damp, and dark. The bed and the pillows are especially musty. The covers are washed and changed daily but the bed and pillows themselves are rotting. They have this damp and unpleasant smell that made me feel like I was sleeping beside a gutter. Unsurprisingly, that resulted in a poor sleep quality. But it gets worse. The AC barely works. I had to leave it on for hours before finally feeling any changes in temperature. It's minimal changes, mind you, and it still comes with a catch: the AC leaks when it works. It also didn't help that the door to the balcony being very thin. Other than reducing the already terrible cooling efficiency, it leaks out quite a bit of noise. The location is fairly quiet sure but I can still hear motorbikes at night which again, doesn't help with the sleep quality. And the nightmare continues even after waking up. As I mentioned earlier, the room is dark. It has a very small window so I couldn't even get a nice natural light despite the stunning view on the balcony. Again, I had to open the door to the balcony if i want more natural light. Which means I have to sacrifice the temperature that the AC had to work so hard for. And wait a few hours again to get to a barely manageable temperature.

• Shin (7/5): Good - Helpful and friendly staff. There's a lot of nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Wi-fi was patchy during my whole stay. My room had a couple of issues in the first place. I couldn't take a hot shower. The AC didn't work well. I found a lot of small bugs on the floor. The staff fixed all the issues as soon as I informed them. Thanks. However, I wish they could've checked the condition of the room thoroughly before I checked in.

• Shawna (8/5): Very good - Everything was excellent, except the mattress. Otherwise, this was the perfect homestay. Breakfast was excellent (I recommend the omelette), the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious with an excellent balcony. The mattress was not great for my back injury, so I ended up booking at another place for the last 2 nights of my stay. When I explained this to the owner, he was super understanding and refunded me fully for both nights (he also offered me another bed, but I had already booked in at the other place). A really excellent place to stay that I genuinely cannot recommend enough, as long as you aren't picky about your mattress like I am.

• Jonas (9/5): Great Homestay to explore Ubud - The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was awesome, with a lot of choices and fresh fruit. Good place in Ubud, close enough to walk to everything but not in a tourist hotspot. Everything was reasonably clean and the room has a hook for a moscito net. -
• Joan (10/5): Very good experience - Located in a quiet area, but still close to the city centre. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy Breakfast was really good (ask for the coconut rice porridge!) Windows are quite thin so it gets a bit noisy in the mornings with the animals waking up and the prayer calls.
• Margarite (10/5): A peaceful and lovely place, great breakfast. - This is a beautiful property; a peaceful oasis in a busy area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Good AC and shower, with a big table and dresser to organize your belongings. The view from our balcony was lovely. We loved sitting out there and listening to the birds as we ate our breakfast. This was the best included breakfast that we had in Indonesia- 5 or 6 different options, fruit included and nice big coffees. :-) The location was great too, with loads of restaurants in the immediate area. Excellent value! Nothing

The staff was kind aand they gave us the possibility to leave there our baggages after check out, in order to let us enjoy the last day in Ubud more comfortably

Excellent value for money My only suggestion would be to provide somewhere guests can refill their water bottles, helping to reduce plastic waste. At present you have to buy bottled water during your stay.

• Maxtclee (8/5): Cheap homestay close to center - Big room w private balcony. Clean. Great location, center of city. Nice staff. Simple but sufficient breakfast, a la carte w fruit n coffee. Stayed twice. Price is very good No TV or fridge. Uses key for locking but can see master key set kept in the hallway, but it seems quite safe.
