Lauren (10/5): Oasis in Kumasi for excellent rest and recharge. - The property is beautiful. A mix of seclusion and proximity to great stores and food. It’s located off a highway so you don’t have the hustle and bustle of people outside, but there’s a mall right across the street you could walk to if you wanted. I’d recommend using Bolt. The staff are absolutely exceptional! They are far superior to anywhere I have stayed abroad before. They are kind, welcoming, and go above and beyond for every need. Adena was so gracious she even spent a short time getting to know me and helped me source something I had come specifically to Kumasi to find! She saved me so much time and was the catalyst for my success in this endeavor. She is the best. The food there was so good as well! I had room service and it was worth every cédi. It was so good and generous portions. The breakfast as well was brought to the room and has everything you could want. This place has no drawbacks. Even the construction going on to expand the hotel and make a restaurant was not a bother or noisy at all. The hotel is guarded well with large fences, and armed guards. It’s a magnificent place to lodge. I will return! 10/10! Oh and they have elevators!!!! So easy to check in. It was 10/10

Harrison (7/5): Would I stay here again…..maybe - the rooms have a good amount of space. My room had a bedroom and a separate room with a sofa and a kitchen. The location is walking distance from the mall which is convenient as there is a grocery store there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Having a pool is great as it is quite hot in Ghana and it was nice to be able to cool off and sit outside. Breakfast delivery was prompt and accurate. The beds have down comforters. This just does not make sense for the climate. The air conditioner in the bedroom did not work very well but really it would have been fine if they had just put an appropriately weighted blanket on the bed. The wifi is sun-par. If you are on a business trip and trying to work, I think it would be difficult. The wifi only worked in the living room area, it did not extend to the bedroom. I asked about this and was told that it should extend to the bedroom and that it would be checked out- to my knowledge it never was. Also, their system makes you sign in constantly and the password is only good for a day or two. My laptop would generally stay logged in until I disconnected but my phone dropped the wifi every two minutes. This hotel is advertised as having a full kitchen with dishes and cookware. There were dishes when I arrived but I had to ask for the cookware. I had to ask three times before I finally received a pot and a spoon. When I arrived I noticed that the pool was quite dirty and had algae growing in it. I reports this to the manager on a Monday, the pool was not cleaned until Friday. The staff is very friendly but not terribly effective.The location is convenient during the day, but I learned from a local that walking under the overpass to get to the mall was dangerous at night as there were muggings. This was unfortunate as I had selected that location specifically so that I could walk to the mall/restaurants in the evening.

Verified traveler (6/5): Way overpriced for what it is. - It is serviced rooms rather than a hotel, so there is no bar or restaurant on site. Your can order drinks/food from reception, but they will get it from local restaurants. Rooms are clean, but room service did not come during my two-night stay. They are spacious but there only is a tiny window, and the air con is loud and drips on the bedroom floor. When the power goes down (several times during my stay), the air con does not restart when the power returns. Overall it's way overpriced, much more than excellent hotels like the Golden Tulip in Kumasi.

Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t be duped by this place! - Based on the reviews and price point, I had certain expectations of this hotel. Unfortunately, none of them were met. At roughly $300/night, this is one of the most expensive hotels in Ghana, if not West Africa. For that price, one might expect some service. However, the staff here seems to disagree. On arrival, they had no idea about my booking and lacked interest in trying to find it. Instead, they proposed booking another room for $400/night. 30 minutes later, I was allowed in the room while they continued to search for my reservation. Instead of an on-site restaurant, they will begrudgingly order you food from local places. A basic pasta arrived ninety minutes later that was truly inedible. They lied about the price of the food and then the receptionist demanded a tip for herself. The two times I went to the front desk, it was unattended and took 10+ minutes to summon someone. The room itself wasn’t even that nice. While spaceuse, the window was tiny, the toilet ran constantly, and the bathroom flooded. There aren’t many options in Kumasi, but I strongly suggest you save your money and don’t stay here!
