During the summer months (June – September) reservations for the rooftop pool are required for all registered guests. Reservations are available in 2 hour increments from 7am - 11pm and can be made upon check-in. We do our absolute best to ensure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy the pool however popular times may not always be available.
Beginning January 1, 2025, the check-in time at Hotel X Toronto will be adjusted to 4:00 PM EST
The swimming pool will be unavailable for guest use due to annual maintenance from April 9th to April 30th, 2025.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

- Deb (8/5): The convenience was expensive. - Close to the venue for OVA Provincials. Supply of bottled water was appreciated. Pool wasn’t open. I requested a room with a bath tub which I did get after a lengthy delay at check-in. Then the tub stopper didn’t work. A service tech was able to fix it, but that’s something that housekeeping should have caught, imo. A regular coffee maker would have been preferred instead of the nespresso in the room.

- 88qrstuv (10/5): First Stay - The service truly starts at the valet and they did not disappoint. The bellhop Eivan was super nice and down to earth. He gave us amazing food recs. Also, adored Spencer the host at the restaurant. He was a breathe of fresh air. Loved talking to him as well. We found this to be the perfect fit for us as we were just in for a concert. All amenities we needed were either in the hotel or nearby. The car service offered worked out perfectly for us as my mom is still recovering from a surgery and helped limit walking for her.

- Maralgame (10/5): Great experience in Toronto - All good. Nice location, around 30 min walk to downtown. Accesible for taxis and also bikes. The hotel is pretty nice, the banana bread in the coffee was great. The bar has nice views and the food was good. The cocktails weren't that good though.

The restaurant Playbook had terrible food, my family of 4 waited 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table. We sent back a meal ( which we never do) Roses Restaurant indicates that it opens at 7am - nope it doesn’t it seems to always be 10-15 minutes late opening. Cafe X- breakfast sandwiches are served freezing cold in the Middle and if you want to pay with cash you must have exact change. Now, the actually workers themselves are 100% wonderful , very friendly, always asking if we needed anything, were willing to always go above and beyond.

In particular, I would like to say a big thank you to PJ on reception who was outstanding. But everyone was incredible. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was amazing!

- 745Entertainment (10/5): One of the nicest, most well appointed hotels I've ever stayed in. - Quite possibly one of the best hotel experiences in a long career of travel. Despite being at least two hours from the border, even the border patrol agent told me this was a nice hotel. She also mentioned it's brand new (under 2 years old). The lobby is incredible aesthetically, with several sitting areas for meeting and conversing. One of the three restaurants is also just off the lobby. There's a rooftop restaurant/bar on the 28th floor as well. My room was very nice with a fantastic view of the water and skyline. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very well designed and functional. The staff was incredibly, almost over the top, polite/friendly/helpful throughout my stay. The in room dining was very good as well, even though I typically avoid it, the breakfast was great. There's also a spa on one of the upper floors, which looked very nice. Everything was incredibly clean throughout the room, hallways, lobby, etc. The only tiny complaint is that the curtains allowed early morning light in around the edges of them, but nothing you can't work around. I'm not even a Hyatt person but would almost definitely stay here again on the next trip to Toronto.

- 929kamark (10/5): Business Trip Turned Family Experience Done Right - I recently stayed at Hotel X from March 24 to April 2 for business, and I brought my wife and infant son along, which made the experience even more special. Overall, my stay was a great one. The atmosphere, cleanliness, and overall service met a high standard from start to finish. What truly made the difference, though, was the staff; their professionalism and genuine hospitality stood out throughout my stay. Team members like Junior, Andray, and Homa created a welcoming environment and made me feel valued as a guest. That level of care goes a long way and is a big reason I would return in the future. The hotel also struck the perfect balance between business and family comfort. While I was able to stay focused on work, my family really enjoyed the amenities, especially the heated saltwater pool. It was clean, relaxing, and very family-friendly, and it gave us some great quality time together. All in all, it was a smooth, comfortable, and memorable stay. I’d gladly return and would highly recommend Hotel X to anyone travelling for business, leisure, or with family. Keep up the great work!
- FVAB (10/5): Peaceful and luxurious stay at the X! - We had a really amazing time at Hotel X. We had a cultural event at the Enercare Centre and this was the perfect location! The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the amenities were amazing. We were upgraded to a lake view room and had a peaceful time sitting by the beautiful windows! The restaurant was also very good with really delicious shareable plates I recommended the tempura and the unagi beef noodles!

- Eaginse (4/5): Conference hotel that struggles to serve large #s while looking great - I stayed here due to its location near the exhibition center for a conference... which is the only benefit of its location. Otherwise it is 20 mins outside of downtown and not convenient to any of the other locations you're likely to visit in the city... The train station nearby was under construction, though usable to get into downtown. The hotel itself is aesthetically nice - everything is new and clean... but there are a lot of shortcuts in the aesthetics that make it less than perfect. The windows are single pane and with only thin sheer blinds - so any road noise (or in the next few years, construction noise from right next door) as well as light day and night come right in the room. The bathroom fixtures are all new - except the shower head, which is old, small and sprays everywhere except onto you. The pillows are extra large on King beds and feather pillows... which not everyone likes. The light switches are confusing - with the "master" switch to kill all lights in the room is next to the bed, which is annoying to turn off when you leave and worse when you need the bathroom lights (which is also controls), esp if you are sharing a room with someone who doesn't want every light on in the middle of the night if you get up. Service at the restaurants was a struggle when the hotel was full... there is no breakfast and the cafe ran out of food every day and even coffee one morning of the conference! The evening offered several restaurants but all of which got filled quickly, ran out of some of the major food and even struggled to serve everyone before the evening events. Unfortunately this food issue is compounded by the hotel being out in the middle of no where... there are no restaurants around, so your options are 15+ mins travel into town or DoorDash if you don't eat in the building. None of these are major deal breakers - just multiple inconveniences to be aware of. You stay here because of the convenient location, and deal with these issues. Overall, the place looks great - but it struggles to provide the amenities necessary to be the only hotel for the exhibition center.
- kel_nur (6/5): Food service poor in this hotel - plan ahead to seek food outside hotel. - Great location for access to Enercare but beware, food service was very poor, 2hrs plus to get service at Roses restaurant, Cafe X runs out of food by 0900h, takes up to 20min to order a coffee when a convention or neighbouring attractions are taking place. Ended up hungry multiple times as attending a conference and had little time to seek outside food. Walked 3km to Loblaws to get food for dinner and breakfast as there is NOTHING close by the hotel.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The staff were exceptionally pleasant, attentive, and always available to help with anything needed, which truly enhanced the experience. The amenities were also a highlight—everything was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, contributing to a very enjoyable and upscale atmosphere. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast offering. Currently, it is exclusively à la carte with brunch-style options. While the quality is good, having a simple continental breakfast option with fresh fruits, fresh bread, and lighter choices would make the experience even more complete and convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would definitely recommend it!

We were on the second floor and we still heard every car drive by in the middle of the night? There was a lot of confusion with the elevator and the keys would only let you get to your floor. I understand security but this was just confusing to everyone on the elevator.

- Long (9/5): Beautiful hotel by the lake with exceptional view! - Very nice staff- especially the bellman (bellmen!) 10/10. The receptionists are very nice, but not to the level of the bellmen. 8/10. The bed was exceptionally well made (I’m sure the sheets/comforter were ironed- tell me if I’m wrong). Hotel very well kept- even the public bathrooms downstairs in the lobby were very clean. Location was a little bit off of the tourist areas, but Uber took me there in five minutes. They have a great team! The room, bed. Hallway, the showers,… everything was exceptionally clean. They are very nice restaurants downstairs as well as at the top floor… perhaps the staff can promote their restaurants more, I would have given it a try and probably would have like them as well! But I did not try. I only found out how nice they were on the day I left.

- Jami (8/5): Very convenient and customer service oriented! Just needed a mattress topper and a thicker bathroom - Beautiful room, beautiful view, delicious coffee, and wonderful staff! The bed seemed like luxury at fiest glance but was quite stiff so I woke up a lot. Also, the bathrooms very much need real curtains and not just sheer ones. We both felt very exposed as our bathroom window faced the street and the toilet was right next to the sheer curtain. We had to shower with the lights off to prevent being seen by the crowd below getting out of the concert across the street.

I always stay at the X for easy concert access. I really wish it had a whirlpool. And the café closed very early. All i wanted was a coffee & a snack. No restaurants outside of the hotel that you can easily walk to.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable. One night stay was a little expensive.

The amenities are also incredible, a cinema, a big gym very well equipped, a rooftop pool (though slightly small), a spa, restaurants, golf and sport simulator, a library, an art gallery ... all in the same building! This was just fabulous! But above all the friendliness of the staff, simply amazing!

- oksana (1/5): A DISASTROUS HOTEL - The staff, responsible for transportation. At check-in the extra beds in the room were not prepared. Restaurants close without any announcements, although the websites claim 7-days per week opening hours till 8 pm. No vending machines, that could be an alternative. Most people, that were running the pool were impolite to the guests. Were never controlling extremely loud screaming children.
