He waited for us until 11 PM without any fuss, greeted us with homemade treats on our first day, and continued to surprise us with little gestures throughout the stay. Communication was effortless from start to finish — he was always responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. He also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations that turned out to be real highlights of our trip. The apartment itself is spotless and very well maintained — everything you need is there. The location is hard to beat: just a 5-minute walk from the Vatican, with great public transport connections. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located place in Rome with a host who genuinely cares about your experience, look no further. We'll definitely be back. Nimic
• Alessandra (10/5): A casa di Claudio, nella Roma verace... - L'appartamento è in zona Vaticano, con una bella passeggiata vedi piazza San Pietro di sera ed è impagabile; si trova nelle vicinanze dalla Metro Cipro (ci vuole comunque una camminata) e ha una fermata bus proprio sotto casa (Emo Brigantin) con fermata diretta alla stazione Tiburtina. In zona ci sono trattorie Romane veraci (noi abbiamo provato la Fornace e da Zacca ar 20) e nella vicinanze Bonci e le sue mitiche pizze ma il valore aggiunto della casa è Claudio, il proprietario che con la sua gentilezza fa innamorare ancora di più della meravigliosa città eterna.
• Dejan (9/5): Great place for family stay do discover Rome - The location was great for discovering Rome with my family. The Cipro Metro station is close by, Conad grocery store across the street, Bonci pizarium close by and sevral nice restaurants close by. We were walking when visiting Vatican and surroundings. Claudio is a great host, very friendly and responsive. The kitchen is quite small for a family of five, but nothing much you can do do about that :)
• Antonio (10/5): - Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas, tiene buena terraza, el propietario es amable y detallista, te deja café para consumo e utensilios para todo. En conclusión, para la oferta que hay, está muy bien en relación calidad precio. La zona está muy bien surtida de cafeterías restaurantes y comercios de todo tipo. Un baño es un poco pequeño y están algo anticuados. No tiene salón, pero eso ya queda claro en la descripción. La ubicación es buena para Vaticano y un poco alejada para el centro y Trastevere pero hay metro y buen transporte.

• Erika (10/5): Like two hotel suites with a kitchen and balcony - The apartment consists of two big rooms, both with TVs, an ensuite, and entrance to the big terrace. They are like hotel suites. The beds are very comfortable and the electric shades provide darkness for a good sleep. There is a kitchen equipped with all necessary supplies, washing machine, coffee maker, fridge, etc and the big balcony is a bonus! The apartment is located next to the busy area and the Vatikan, downtown Rome is easily accessible by metro, which is nearby. We walked home every day from downtown, even from the Colosseum, it’s a good half an hour comfortable walk, so for us it was perfect. The owner was very helpful and we were well taken care of, we also were given some yummy goodies from him as a surprise. Thank you Caludio! Check-in and out was easy and he was flexible and payed attention to us. Opposite the apartment there is a lovely Italian restaurant and there is a supermarket close to it as well, which was very convenient for us too. We had a great time and will visit Claudio again next time! :)

• Susanne (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. - Sehr gute Lage in einem Wohnviertel mit einigen Urlaubs-Unterkünften, nur 400 m zur Metrostation Cipro (Metro A), Geschäfte und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, sehr netter Vermieter, der jederzeit für Kommunikation aller Art erreichbar war und sowohl in der Wohnung als auch in der Kommunikation reichlich Informationen zu bieten hatte. Jedes der beiden Schlafzimmer hatte ein eigenes Bad, Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren inklusive. Die Klimaanlage arbeitete gut, und vom Balkon aus konnte man auf der Höhe die vatikanischen Gärten erkennen. Der langgestreckte, mit Tisch und Stühlen ausgestattete Balkon war von beiden Schlafzimmern aus zu erreichen. 800 m Fußweg bis zu den Vatikanischen Museen. Wir waren zu viert dort und haben uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt!

• Monica (10/5): Exceptional - Claudio was the most gracious host—he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He greeted us with pasticceria and kindly allowed us a late check-out when we asked. The apartment is impeccable: spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well laid out. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, which is incredibly convenient. The balcony is enormous. The beds are large and comfortable, and there's even an extendable couch in one of the rooms. The building has an elevator, which is a huge relief when you're carrying heavy luggage. The location is fantastic—close to the Vatican, with a bus stop right in front of the building and a subway station nearby. One of the best places in Rome for pizza al taglio, Bonci Pizzarium, is just around the corner. There's also an affordable supermarket right across the street. All in all, this place offers great value for money and is a rare find. I would definitely recommend Claudio Vaticano to anyone looking for excellent accommodation in Rome.

He even stopped by during our stay with a delicious dessert and checked if everything was alright. The accommodation was as described and shown in the photos, and everything was nearby – metro, shops, and landmarks. We were very satisfied!

• Violeta (9/5): Superb - The appartement was spacious, two bedrooms with big beds and nice mattresses, two bathrooms with shower , aircondition in every room, kitchen and balcony . Very convenient location, near to bus stops and metro. Fine restaurants close by and cafes. Claudio was the perfect host, he brought us sweets and was very helpful. Value for money. The appartement could be more clean.

• Maria (5/5): Not comfortable. Pricey for the quality of the apartment. - Im very particular about linens, bed sheets and towels. They didnt smell clean. The smaller bathroom had broken shower door and the toilet bowl flush didnt work several times. Im not sure if i should demand for bathroom stuff like shampoo, soap which i didnt find in this apartment; but Ive stayed in 2 other apartments before here and they were aptly provided. The kitchen didnt have enough utensils, glasses, etc. The coffee maker was broken.

• Gautam (10/5): Our stay in Rome was exceptional in large part due to this apartment. - It’s a nice apartment with air conditioning in both bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. For a family of 4 it was great to have 2 bathrooms as a lot of showers were taken as it was was a heat wave in Rome during our stay. The air conditioners were working perfectly during our entire stay with temperatures in the high 30’s. The host, Claudio, was excellent providing good communication all the time. Nothing we did not like. Just note that there is no “living room” space.

The airconditioning in the rooms was very good, considering that it was 37 degrees outside. Beds were comfortable and the apartment had a washing machine, fridge, and everything one needs for a pleasant stay.
