The shower and sink were for very short people. I am 5 ft 4 in tall and the shower hit me in the neck. The sink was at my hip level. Not the most comfortable.

And I will be honest I wasn't expecting much from a motel 6 but this location has exceeded all expectations. This isn't the Hyatt or the Radisson but for what I'm paying for this room wow!!! Fresh paint and much larger than normal refrigerator New fixtures nice big TV and clean. For a one night stay it was actually perfect. I would highly recommend this for any other people that are traveling from Michigan or Northern Illinois down to Arkansas.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Reasonable considering the price - This is a very old, fairly beat up motor lodge. Pluses include reasonable cost, no pet fees, and that you can drive right up to your front door. Easy to unload and load. Our room was serviceable in all regards and good size. There was no couch or easy chair. Check-in was quick and easy with a friendly desk clerk. Overall, you are getting an older, spartan hotel and a relatively low price.

Great mgmt/ owners who care about their property & their Gu - Wonderful accommodations at this Motel 6 in Sullivan MO right off I-44.... better than many higher priced hotels in the StL MO area! We've stayed here several times in the past 2-3 years while traveling & we've never been disappointed! Friendly & professional mgmt who have high standards and it shows! Spotless & clean detailed rooms, great comfortable King bed w/ nice bed linens (soft & smell great!) It's also very convenient to park right in front of your room versus dealing w/ parking, loading up a cart, waiting for an elevator, etc! They have renovated many rooms & all are well maintained! No question about where we choose to stay when we are in the area....the room rates are a great value, & there are several good restaurants close by! There are other choices in the area...but we wouldn't stay anywhere else while traveling through Sullivan!

The room was clean and easy to access, the parking spaces were spacious, the air conditioner was a champ, there was plenty of green space for our dog to enjoy, and even the ice machine worked!

Not a luxury hotel but it seemed recently renovated. Everything worked great. I did not try the Internet. The parking lot was full but my room was very quiet. Nothing woke me up during the night. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was exhausted and needed a place to sleep, this was the wrong choice woke up with an allergy attack eyes swollen. The room smelled like 16000 cats lived in there, which I’m allergic to. There were dirty towels in the room and dogs barking all night. Wouldn’t stop here to take a breath.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Would not recommend - We left after about 2 hours and booked a different hotel. We did not feel safe or comfortable around the other guests (it was a rough crowd). The room was clean and in decent condition, but it was extremely loud. The windows and door offered no noise control so we could hear the constant roar of the nearby highway traffic, clearly make out the conversations of people in adjacent rooms, and were subject to everything going on in the parking lot.

- johnkB3687CV (2/5): Don't stay in winter - NEVER GO THERE IN THE WINTER!! I realize these were record low temperatures, however the heater is locked in to 75 degrees and will not warm the room. No blankets!! Only a sheet and a thin bed cover. They did bring us a small electric heater, but still could not get the room warm!! We had to try and sleep with our clothes on. A first for us For the price of $86 you would expect more. The room was clean and would have been fine with proper heat.

Room was large, super comfortable, great bed and pillows, but thin coarse towels, no kleenex, no coffee pot, no breakfast, zero amenities, no frills. A little pricey for bare bones. Reversed barhroom faucet, dumb and easy to fix, slow sink drain, and floor mopping is overdue. We slept well, and we feel bad, but leaving an accurate review is important :-)

The heat was controlled by a wall unit which blowed hot air at the bed all night and the bathroom was located far from the door so it was ice cold. The room itself was clean.

I used my travel app to look for decent, affordable lodging west of St. Louis. The combination of rating and pricing looked almost unbelievable, so I read the reviews. Encouraged by the reviews, I made the booking and I was not disappointed. The check-in process was easy and friendly and the room was spotless with no smell of covered-over cigarette smoke. (My wife is allergic to it.) The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well and awoke rested for the onward journey. The amenities are very basic, if it makes a difference to you. There was a small fridge and a microwave. There was no coffee maker but you can buy a cup of coffee at the next-door restaurant. I went to the Philips 66 down the road and bought mine at a cheaper price. The bathroom was clean and nicely set up. Only the bathtub seemed old with some discolored spots, but I had a nice shower in it. Bottom line: next time I need a place to spend the night west of St. Louis, I won't look anywhere else. Best room for the price I've ever found.

- Barbara (10/5): - First impressions are important. I hadn't realized that this was a motel instead of a hotel so was surprised when I pulled up. That said, when I went in the office to check in the young man that greeted me was very friendly and helpful. That goes a long way in my book! The room was spacious, the flooring was new (looked like hardwood but was probaby a laminate). The bathroom was beautifully redone with the exception of the bathtub. The counter was black and had the look of marble with a modern sink and a full mirror. For a single night stay it provided everything I needed.
