Guest Reviews
- Crystal (10/5): Amazing service - Not as bad as they say.. I stayed for a week. And had great prices
- Verified traveler (8/5): Budget option - The property is being renovated. Painting is incomplete, but new bathroom fixtures are nice. Clean nice bed. ROKU TV Not bad for the price. YMMV.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Positioned directly across the street from a smoky factory. Wind was blowing the smoke at rooms that day. Pretty vacant hotel but said I couldn't have a TV in my room because they had been stolen. Smoke alarm either missing or detached. I asked for a refund and front end girl proudly told me they did not do refunds. I told them their accommodations were not was they advertised. I called Expedia and strongly suggested they rethink listing this motel on their platform to save future users of Expedia the same experience I had. Disgusting, unsafe, sad facility. University Ave is worth staying for an extra $15.
- Lance (6/5): Not ready! - The motel was under a new name and hadn't changed their signs, yet. Most rooms on the property were boarded up. Renovation was not even close to being finished so not ready for prime time.
- Dana (6/5): - It was acceptable for the price. You get what you pay for.
- Henry (8/5): good value - clean place, no tv or hairdryer
- Violaine (4/5): - Really old and cheap hotel. Not really clean. It is what you get for the price...
The bathroom was clean. The staff was nice.
Old authentic cafe nearly
- Gene (2/5): - The pictures are not correct. This hotel was a dump. I couldn’t bring myself to spend one night, they said they wouldn’t give a refund and I didn’t care. I like to watch my money but no amount of money could make me stay there . I felt unsafe and booked at a different hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Facility need renovation. Location near refineries with smell.
- Landmine (2/5): - It was hill billy ghetto. A room with 1,000 flies. Next thry offered a room with no tv and dirty looked like a mirder scene . poor as heck. Filthy . no coffe . ice had dirt in it
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was a rat in the first room I was placed in, I was moved to another room that was semi better. Although, the door did not close shut all the way. I will never stay here again. The only thing good out of this motel was the staff.
- Kat (2/5): - Do not stay here! The service was awful. As soon as I walked in there were multiple issues with other guests and I even left to give them time to figure it out. They tried to put me in a room that was under construction and the bathtub was moldy and black. Unacceptable and a health violation. Be warned the pictures do not reflect what you see. It’s actually called coach lights motel. They wouldn’t even issue me a refund.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty, no water. - Customer service was friendly. But room was full of mud or something else. Tub dishusting and stuff all over toilet. Not a very nice area wither. But the people did apologize, but after initial impression and surrounding guests..i definitely paid for a different hotel nearby. n their defense..they did warn me they were under construction.
- Jeffrey (2/5): Poor cs and poor security - It took forever to get my room because of the hotels.com issue. I fell asleep at 830 pm and was awake at 1030 pm by someone forcing my door open and i told the guy that you have the wrong room, no apology and he said i had to check, poor doors and getho crowd that night. I slept paranoid that i would get ripped off if i slept good.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmm mmmm. Mmdjdndnjd kdnndndndndnd
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not what I expected. Online advertising was not updated.
- Samuel (10/5): Five star - Was an amazing experience hope to go back soon
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Property is not marked with it's current name. No seals on the door, so you see light all around it, even when locked. This allowed flies inside. Walls are very thin. No way my wife would have stayed there. It's fairly cheap, which is the only saving grace. I ran the shower for 5 minutes, and couldn't get hot water.
- Verified traveler (2/5): AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!! - This was one of the WORST stays I have ever experienced. I booked a room with 2 queens for 4 people. When we arrived, they did not have a 2 queen room. So they took 45 min at check-in, trying to find us a room. They end up giving us "2 kings" instead. One of the 2 rooms was livable. The 2nd room was no where near livable!!! The lady at the desk assured me room 250 was "a clean room and just outdated." The shower was freaking disturbing. The room smelled like dog urine, and the bed was no bigger than a twin. I paid for 4 people to stay, yet 2 people stayed and the other 2 had to go buy and pay for a different hotel room at a different hotel. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. NO ONE ELSE SHOULD EITHER!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The manager Karen got us into our room right away, checking in took us less than 3 minutes from start to finish.
