Too far from Split as only one main road to split so due to traffic, it took 40 minutes to travel in every day. Not enough bars and restaurants in the surrounding area.

- Hanneke (10/5): Excellent! - The appartement was big, really clean and all the instructions were clear. Some essentials were provided, like pepper and salt, dishwasher tablets, oil and vinegar, what’s so handy for a few days. In less then 10 minutes you’re standing on the beach. It’s a quiet environment, but restaurants and a nice bar around the corner -

- Nikolai (9/5): Beautiful apartments in Podstrana - The apartments were clean. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The pool was clean. The nearest store was a 2-minute walk away. Beach 8min walk down the road. There was a limescale in the kettle, so I had to clean it. One of the rooms only had a bed, nowhere to put things (though the room was small too). The other room could use some shelves in the corner near the window.

- Anna (6/5): - Room wasn’t ready on arrival, over 2 hours after check in time. House keeping were apologetic, less so the owner on the phone. Couldn’t open and close bedroom door - hits the bed. Initial impression of cleanliness but stains on curtains, dust clouds under the sofa, stains on balcony floor. Lack of attention to detail eg: broken bottle opener, no battery in the clock. Pool view was nice. Was ok for the price paid.

Plenty of parking spaces at property if you want to rent a car. 5 minute walk to a well stocked shop, and 10 mins walk to the sea front which has plenty of bars and restaurants. Overall would recommend and I would visit again.
- Jonathan Ward (10/5): - We stayed for 9 nights in September and really enjoyed staying here. The apartment was very clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed. It was well positioned in a quiet neighbourhood with a short walk to the beach and restaurants, and easy parking next to the property. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool which was never crowded when we used it. A very pleasant stay, the only minor thing was that the tv in the bedroom didn't pick up any channels but the one in the living area was fine.

- Femke (8/5): Fantastisch - Het totale appartement, alles zit erin wat je nodig hebt. Ideaal. Ook de gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden problemen met onze deur en het werd meteen opgelost, super fijn! De ligging is ook top, je bent binnen 5 minuten op het strand. Het enige minpunt is dat we zelf moesten vragen om schone handdoeken. Dit werd niet uit hun zelf gedaan. Het appartement is soms wel wat gehorig, zeker ‘s ochtends vroeg.

It was exceptionally hot so hard to keep the bedrooms cool because ac only in kitchen. However, the decks were both very nice with a beautiful ocean view .

A big thank you to the owner for being very helpful to us in every way . We had a slight problem with a taxi and he solved it for us . The apt is ideally located near shop, beach and restaurants. I recommend it highly and hope to be back v soon . Everything was perfect.

- Sally (10/5): Well appointed apartment close to the sea with great facilities. - Apartment very comfortable with decent kitchen and cooking facilities. Plenty of storage, comfortable bed and very clean. Housekeeper very friendly and helpful and owner/manager very responsive to messages. Pool area lovely and had to ourselves most of the time. We visited 13th to 20th May so early season, only a few restaurants open and tourist agency closed so not easy to book any trips. This is a reflection on our own timings for the area not the apartment.

- Gaylene (9/5): Beautiful apartment- would stay again - Spacious apartment which was modern and clean. Small complex with a lovely pool . Location is 10 minute walk down to beach and handy to supermarkets etc. We would have given 10/10 but during our stay there was road works going on down the side of the complex which created a lot of noise from early morning. This was beyond the control of the owner who was very apologetic and gave us a lovely bottle of wine by way of compensation. These works should not effect future stays as they were finishing as we left Nothing - it was great The only feedback maybe would be having a few little staples in the pantry so that self catering can be achieved e.g cooking oil; salt /pepper.

Great value for money! - Beautiful and very comfortable apartment - modern equipment, sparkling clean and a very nice pool area with beach towels and comfortable beach chairs. The host was also very responsive and accommodating. We felt great and we wholeheartedly recommend it! Having some basics in the the kitchen, like salt and pepper, would have been welcome. These are not expensive but very needed ingredients that come in big quantities in supermarkets and you don't want to buy them for just a couple of days. Other than that I can't really think of anything else - it was a great stay!

- Verity (9/5): Lovely new, clean apartment within a short drive from Split - Excellent new and stylish apartment which was in immaculate condition with a decent pool with loungers and umbrellas. The interior had everything required for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The access on arrival was easy because communication with the owner was swift and straightforward. The apartment is located on a hillside which was no problem for us because we are both mobile and we enjoy walking to and from local restaurants all along the front in Podstrana-which we did most nights of our stay. We had a car and driving to Split was easy and very worthwhile for a tour around the old town. We also visited a couple of other places nearby including Stobrec which has a pleasant harbour and some good coffee shops and Omis which is the gateway to Cetina River canyon whose spectacular views were unfortunately compromised by some English wet weather Nothing to dislike

- Jan Anton Van (6/5): - Een goede en fijne accomodatie op een centraal gelegen plek. Zwembad is iedere dag onderhouden en je kunt gebruik maken van dagelijkse schone handdoeken bij het zwembad. Het grote nadeel is de gehorigheid. Je hoort de buren woord voor woord praten. Konden er 's avonds niet door slapen en maakte ons 's ochtends weer wakker. Wij hadden ook een beetje pech met de buren, een groep jongens, dit moet je ook een beetje treffen

Great location, just up from the beach with bars and restaurants nearby but still very peaceful at night. Friendly and helpful host. In our two bedroom apartment with two double rooms, the second bedroom was very small. Other than that, I cannot fault it.
- MArika (10/5): - We had a top floor apartment with great sea view from the balconies. Very modern and clean. Only a ten minutes walk to a lovely beach and 5 minutes to the local grocery shop. Accessible to both the centre of Split and to Omis via bus. Good communication with the owner Ivica throughout our stay and happy to accommodate our needs. Would definitely recommend this place!

Local shops, bars and restaurants are all a short walk from the property, as is the beach. The owner and his staff were lovely and very helpful.

There’s a little shop not far away that is handy. Definitively recommend using Bolt/ Uber as some taxis can over charge so be aware.

The host Ivaca is very friendly and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff. The appartments have a really nice pool with sun-beds and clean towels every morning. Would recommend staying here when you visit (the area of) Split. Everything was great!

Pool large enough for the children although not for length swimming (10 strokes of front crawl end to end). Building on a hill with a 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket (Ribola) and beach and then a tiring climb back up the hill to get back. Having a car would have been better for us. Host was fantastic and even arranged taxis for us to get into Split (15 minutes) and to Kris Fortress (worth a visit). Would highly recommend apartment if you are a family with children (any age - ours are teenagers).
- Kevin (10/5): Lovely Apartments, Near the beach - Great apartment in a quiet area 5 mins walk from the beach which is stunning. Friendly staff on hand to greet you & we had the whole building to ourselves so the pool was empty & we could just relax in peace. Only a couple of things that I didn’t like was the WiFi which constantly dropped out so if you wanted to watch Netflix at night you’d better brush up on your Croatian & the building site works that where going on throughout the day during our stay but that’s not the owners fault.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great apartment - The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great pool and pool-area, spacious and clean apartment with good air condition. There was only a five minute walk to the bus-stop that takes you to Split in 25-30 minutes, seven minutes to the grocery store and a good lokal bakery with the beach a couple minutes further down. Good location in a quiet area, with value for money. We really enjoyed our stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I stayed for a week with my sister and two children (11 & 8). The owner answered pre-arrival queries promptly and helpfully and the apartment manager Antonia appeared to greet us as soon as we arrived. She could not have been more helpful and friendly during our stay. She helped us with questions about places to go and went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable holiday. The apartments are furnished stylishly, air conditioned and super clean and comfortable. The pool is really lovely too and there are always sunbeds available and freshly laundered towels each day for pool use. We self-catered a fair bit and the kitchen was well equipped. It’s a short walk to the beach which is warm and clear (pebble beach) and a number of restaurants that we used. We liked Amigos which is a short walk along the beach. There’s a handy bakery and supermarket close by too. The bus to Split stops close by and runs every 30 mins and costs less than £2 each way. We had a great week here and would highly recommend this accommodation.

- Pia (10/5): - Very nice, clean and quit place, with the most lovely and helpful housekeeper, Mrs. Antonia. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay and also the fact, that it was at a suitable distance from the main street.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The apartment and communal areas were kept pristinely clean by the lady who lives on site. The gardens were always immaculate. The only negative was the short uphill walk from the beach to the apartment. It wasn’t a problem for us but could be if you were elderly or disabled.
- Hayley (10/5): Fantastic apartment - This apartment was wonderful. It’s slightly larger than appears on the photos and is pristine. We didn’t make use of the pool as the weather was cool. There’s a little noise from the apartment above but nothing significant. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach and main road (10min back as it’s up a hill) which is where the bus to Split goes from. The bus is every 30mins and takes 15-20min to get to central Split. Ivica and his housekeeper are incredibly accommodating and helpful. We arrived on a late flight on Easter Saturday and Ivica organised our airport transfer and was at the apartment to greet us. We’d definitely go back again.
