- David (6/5): - Hotel in great position for trams and metro to central areas. Breakfast also excellent. Room a bit small and needs updating. no English speaking channels on TV . Staff quiet and a bit miserable.
- Gregg C (6/5): - This hotel was in a good location within walking distance of old town and the square. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of an overhaul. The main issue was the Wifi. We barely got 1 bar and it was very difficult to do anything. We would pay a bit more to stay somewhere that had that amenity.

We stayed on a ‘room only’ basis, and there are places to get food/drink nearby. No A/C and if you leave windows open, traffic can be a little noisy.

- John (10/5): Clean, safe, walking distance to downtown and more - The hotel is in walking distance to downtown and to all the historical parts of Prague, we walked along the river Vltava up to the Hradcany Castle, which took us both ways 2.5 hours. Beautiful walk with many historical sites and cafes along. The subway is one minute from the hotel. The public transportation from Prague Airport is well connected and takes about 35 minutes, bus nr. 59 to Veleslavin subway A and at Museum take C and one stop at I.P.Pavlova and 1 minute walk to hotel Legie. We were very satisfied with our room, it was clean, wi-fi works good, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Could not ask for anything more. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Ironically in our cathedral sized room the TV was the size of a small postage stamp but we didn't watch it anyway. Great location about a 25m walk from the centre and Charles Bridge etc. No tea or coffee making facility in the room but available in reception. Our only gripe was our handsoap was empty and didnt get refilled. Definitely would stsy again though, and recommend. Great stuff.

Karşılama ekibi çok güleryüzlü özellikle döneceğimiz gün check out yapmış olmamıza rağmen ücret almadan bagajarımızı kilitli odada muhafaza ettiler. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum. Teşekkürler

- Lucia (8/5): Très bien situé pour les visites - Hôtel très bien situé, à (littéralement) 2 pas des métro et tram, ce qui permet de visiter la vieille ville sans difficultés. La chambre et l'hôtel en général étaient très propres et le personnel serviable. Chambre un peu bruyante dû à la circulation en contre-bas.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for the price - Good for the price, clean, friendly staff at the reception but you have to know that walls are made of paper. You could hear the housekeepers talking and shouting non-stop in the hall each morning starting at 9 AM like they were in the room. I could even hear from my room the children crying in the room at the end of the hallway. I was out of my room for most of the day so it didn’t bother much but unfortunately, I couldn’t get enough sleep on the last night of which I had to wake up early at 6 AM because I had these people next to room talking until 2 AM and I could clearly hear everything they were saying.

Der var ikke A/C på værelset, men de havde sat en ventilator op på værelset til os. Der var dejligt der var elevator. Maden smagte vi ikke, men hotellet ligger godt centralt og gå afstand til mange restauranter
- Hector Armando (8/5): - is fairly close to the old city, but to walk back to the hotel is up the hill. can be a 20 minute hike, other than that is great, but city train ride is like 10 minutes and stops 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. if you want air conditioning in the room is extra charge. we were happy in this place

Hotel en reparaciones, obras, habitación muy pequeña y poco "atractiva visualmente", no invita a querer quedarse, pero eso no es lo peor, no tuvimos agua caliente mas que el primer dia. Lo unico bueno que tiene este hotel es la ubicación. Si lo reformaran, podría llegar a ser hasta bueno, pero la experiencia que hemos vivido dista mucho de cumplir con unos estándares suficientes de calidad. Usaria palabras mas concisas y descriptivas pero por desgracia vetan el comentario.

Når man bor på hotellet over en uke, kunne jeg ha fått et rom med bedre utsikt. Relativt kort vei til museum, torget i nybyen og gamle torget i Praha 1. Det er severdigheter i nærheten, som politi museumet.

One the negative side the room allocated was not of the size that was included in the description based on comparison to a number of other hotels stayed in during the overall trip.

- Christian Victor (2/5): Pick something better than we did. - Terrible service, beds so hard it felt like sleeping on stone. Bathrooms varied between disgusting and poorly maintained. We didn't get enough towels, and the walls were so thin, you couls hear everything the hallway and nearby rooms. Rooms were also poorly ventilated.

- Marco (4/5): Solo se siete costretti - L'hotel è centralissimo, in Praga 2 accanto ad una stazione metro della linea rossa. E qui finiscono i lati positivi rumoroso perché vicino ad una strada di grossa percorrenza, probabilmente non vede un rinnovo dai primi anni 70, le camere sono raffazzonate, cavi elettrici a vista, tubi a vista, coperchio cassettina water di modello differente (almeno funzionava...), muri scrostati con intonaco crepato, per non parlare degli acari della polvere. Ci sono rimasto solo perché era impossibile trovare un'altra sistemazione in quei giorni, a meno di spenderci 500 euro a notte.Ne ho spesi 170 a notte, per due notti, ma ne valeva a malapena un decimo.

- Bala Aditya (8/5): - Very nice location, lot of eateries near by and good transport links. Easy to walk to the city square. Just the noise levels are too high to sleep at nights sometimes, especially with ambulance and police sirens.

We thought that there might be a small fridge in the room which wasn't the case. We could hear the street and other guests. But through the central location, we weren't bothered by that. We will come again for sure.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Average and adequate - The receptionist who received me and signed me out was charming, helpful and had a lovely smile! My room was very small but warm and clean. However there were a few niggles. There were not enough coat hangers and so drawers to put clothes away. Although the shower was clean and the water hot the shower fitting was Rosen making it difficult to use without holding it together at the same time. The hand basin was badly cracked. The breakfast was adequate and the coffee hot but the cooked food was of very poor quality.

For the safe deposit box in my room, had to pay extra money for use (2...3 €)...and it was not Digital. If you are a smoker person is a bit difficult cause we had a terrace but it was closed. So if you are at level 7 or any levels you should go to level 0 smoking area. The check out is at 10 am I think its a bit too early, it would ve better at Noon.

Tasty breakfast every morning with choices . Our room was large enough to place our luggage and clean . All in all , will stay at this hotel again next time coming to Prague .

We left after the first night as we were extremely hot and uncomfortable.The hotel could use updating and our room was not cleaned very well. Although, we were offered to be relocated to an affiliate hotel with air conditioning, we declined as we already located and booked another hotel that we were extremely pleased with.

- German (2/5): The nightmare hotel - No air conditioning, no fan, have to open window , because of the heat. Ambulances and police sirens going on every 5 minutes. Extremely noisy. Mold in the bathroom. No plastic or any kind of shower curtain. You have to hold the shower house with one hand and soap with the other hand. Disgusting. No scrambled eggs, no orange juice, very basic tasteless food.
- Ramon (6/5): Noisy - Good hotel for the price, was told they had parking and had to park in the street. Breakfast was good and basic European. If you are a lite sleeper this hotel is not for you, outside Main Street was very noisy and had to keep the windows open because it was very hot. Between the outside street noise and the drunk people in our floor couldn’t sleep the last night there. Front counter was polite and courteous. Would make a difference choice next time.

The good side of the hotel is that they serve a breakfast and is at a good location. The red line metro stop is across the street along with the street car. It is less than a 1-mile walk to the main square and National Museum. There are many affordable shops next door along with reasonably priced restaurants.

Gave me great advice on trips and local restaurants and couldn't have been more helpful. My only complaint was that my single room got all the late afternoon/evening sun which meant it was very hot and stuffy. Overall a good place, great location

Martin (4/5): Sleepless in Prague - The rooms had very poor soundproofing, I could hear clearly occupants next door to me using shower, the bed was so hard I would compare to sleeping on the floor. In fact when I camp it is always better on the ground than this bed. The breakfast was pretty good though. Lots of noise from busy road outside
- Walter (8/5): Nice Hotel - Nice hotel, large room with 3 beds although only a single booked. Friendly welcome. Very good breakfast with good range of hot and cold foods. Great location for tram and Metro which was close by.

- Nick (8/5): A great value hotel with good basic amenities - A basic hotel with clean , warm rooms,comfortable bed and a filling breakfast buffet. Hotel was close to amenities and sights with the old town a 20 minute walk away. Breakfast was basic but adequate and plentiful. Although the view from my room was nonexistent this didn’t concern me as the price was low and facilities just what was wanted. My only issue was the shower - it worked and the water was hot but the shower head needs upgrading and it was difficult to get in and out of the shower because it was raised high off the floor and the shower door was hard to manoeuvre into and out of! All it all, a good, basic hotel at a great price!

- Wynona (8/5): - Hotel location convenient walking distance for my conference venue ( House of Vinhorady). Breafast facilities and food very nice. Staff was very accommodating and helpful when I needed to add a roommate, rooms simple but very clean. Facilities are older, and street façade could use some improvements to make it more inviting :). I would stay here again! Overall reasonable rates, and pleasant stay for me!

- damien (8/5): central and surprizing - Right between two Metro stops, this hotel is easy to miss but surprisingly comfortable. The staff were efficient if a little cool. My room could have done with some air conditioning and opening a window exposed me to the roar of traffic from the street outside. Breakfast was a buffet with nice sausages and the lift was small and a little temperamental
- Theresa (8/5): - The staff are very nice and helpful. This is a budget hotel so don’t expect top of the line facilities. The rooms are a good size and nice and clean. The breakfast was much better than I thought it would be. A 15 minute walk to old town. I would definitely go back.
- Laura (10/5): Excellent - We chose to stay here as it had a central location and a reasonable price. We were very surprised by how nice and spacious our room was, as well as the fantastic views of the city. The breakfast was simple but nice and filling. The room was very clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel Legie is in an excellent central location (about a 20 minute walk from Old Town Square). We walked everywhere, including to Prague Castle on the other side of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and recommend it to anybody on a low budget who wants to stay in a lovely place in a good location.

Our room was only just big enough for 2 people and bags. The shower worked but was broken and had to be handheld. Overall wethough it was a good place to stay.
