I got a voice complaint when my children were all laying down and I was in the shower . I missed the call from the front desk and he said the people under me said that we were making noise which was impossible unless it was the noise from me showering after a long day of working . But other than that thw stay was great .

It's was definitely for us, the best place . Rooms nice and clean. Facilities very good Location perfect. If I had to say one thing that would have Given us Extra sprinkles was if they had a Complementary breakfast . Lol That being said, the do give every room a very nice kitchen. Our situation there wasn't time for making one. That's why I said "for us" . So honestly it was just all in all very good.

The first night I checked in the ac/heater wasnt working and was stuck on ac at about 60 degrees! Had to sleep in a sweatshirt and long pants... Front desk guy was polite and tried to fix it to no avail! Jerome came up the next day and fixed it... And also checked back 2 to make sure everything was working. Other than horrible first night.. everything was great! Highly recommend!

• CrawfordGene (4/5): Declining - We stayed here late last year and the decline is showing. Only one hand towel in the bathroom told us something—cutting costs as much as they can get away with. There is no seat cover on the toilet so no where to sit once you get out of the shower plus the nearby countertop has stuff on it that could fall into the toilet. The kitchen has no oven, only two burners on a range top difficult to figure out, the barest minimum of utensils, plates and glasses, a very noisy dishwasher (don't run it late at night—it will scare you out of a deep sleep), and poor, read "none, lighting over the sink. The kitchenware was not all that clean. The bed has one flimsy blanket. The tub diverter for the shower kept falling down making sh over difficult. Everything is done at a minimum. The room did not seem very clean. This is a fairly new hotel and not being taken care off all that well. We have stayed here because we need a kitchen on our visits to town. The restaurants in Pueblo are almost all bad, so bringing our own food is the best approach. There is only one other hotel with a kitchenette room—only one—so this is the only alternative. Standards are low here. If you can park in a handicapped spot, avoid the one just to the right of the front entrance. If it rains or snows you may step into an inch or more of standing water.

• chris (8/5): August 2023 review - Very good location. Rooms have enough space. I have stayed several times and this time is the first time I noticed a lot of wear and minor damage on cabinetry. Not very attractive. Appliances were effective. Typically I had a cutting board but there was not one there this time. Overall a good stay but the interiors are definitely aging. • Jeronimo (10/5): Exceptional - It was pretty good. The only thing. Was it didn't have a pool. But the stay was great. No complaints. Maybe needed a little bigger trash cans in the room. All three got filled up pretty quick.

• CrawfordGene (6/5): OK, could be better - Better than we expected in Pueblo. There are only two hotels with kitchenettes in Pueblo and the other one is in a steady decline. This place is newer, has better staff, and is better maintained, but there are some issues. Alisha was very helpful with the awful reservation system IHG uses. Note that rates change constantly and extending your stay can result in major upcharges. Avoid the reservation system and call directly if you have any questions. The fridge is next to the door and the door cannot be opened all the way making it hard to open one fruit and veggie drawer. The fridge door has dents from hitting the door locks. Lighting for washing dishes is poor. The eating area for two people means the cook top and microwave cannot be accessed if someone is sitting watching TV and eating. The cooktop is hard to figure out and awkward to use once you look it up on the internet. It only has two burners and both are small so a larger pan is hard to use with another pan. There is no oven. Some of the floor planking is coming loose. A lounging chair is stuffed between the smaller (queen) bed and the wall. The furniture looks ok, but being cheap stuff, will deteriorate quickly and some of it is starting to look bad. Nevertheless, the bed is ok though it could use another blanket. The TV channel list is only on the TV and hard to use. There is no information about programming as they use junky Direct TV, so if you want to know what is on HBO in 2 hours, forget it. If you use the shower or tub, there's no where to sit once you get out. The toilet seat has no cover (the cheap kind you find in gas station bathrooms) and the tub side is so low it is hard to sit on. But in today's lodging, there are no more motels run by people who care for them, but large corporate franchises and absentee owners running cheaply built hotels, milking them for profits, and then sell them to a less scrupulous owners as has happened to other hotels in Pueblo. 30 years ago it would rate poor, but now it is average and in reality much better than other hotels in Pueblo. The price is for a much better place, but with only franchises, prices are kept high.

• Jeremy (8/5): - We needed a hotel room quick that was handicap accessible and Candlewood is always a reliable to chain to have a room when you need it. We have used Candlewood for years and this was the first time in Pueblo Co that we stayed and it was great for an emergency stay.
• Kelly (3/5): Poor - The entire ground floor had a bad sewer smell that apparently management knows about from reading previous reviews but doesn't do anything about it. My husband tried to work out in the gym although the smell was unbearable. The kitchen drawers were scattered and food in drawer. Dishwasher full of dishes. I don't know if they were clean or not. Room smelt like food the entire stay, bacon and eggs to be specific. It's obvious that deeper cleaning of kitchen grease is not being observed. Pretty expensive for the area for this type of service.
