The staff were trying their best to resolve the issue but it was still an inconvenience to not have any running water and no appropriate back up plans. The kettle in the room did not work. There is barely any parking due to the high traffic to the restaurant. The parking attendant does not do enough for residents staying at the hotel to get parking, instead the manager had to come out and mouth off a truck driver who was trying to park in a spot that we were waiting for. I liked the convenience of walking to various restaurants in the area as well as how sound proof the walls were to deter any road noises.

A beautiful hotel and residences equipped with the standards to get by whilst on your trip in Guyana, Georgetown. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay at this lovely and healthy environment. The cafe bistro does amazing food dishes and has a great bar to enjoy luscious alcoholic beverages. Loved the coconut prawns, fried rice and steak dishes. Great variety to choose from and everything is affordable. Overall 9/10 for a hotel excellent service and excellent house keeping helping to keep the environment clean and friendly for all guests. Well done folks! Keep up the good works!

• Trek59255426509 (10/5): Excellent stay!!! - Upon arrival to the property, we were greeted by Marcia who was very polite, friendly and professional. We were checked into our suite as soon as we arrived. Check in was quick and seamless. This hotel is centrally located in Georgetown. We were assisted by Curtis to take our luggage to the room. He was very respectful and professional as well. Lunch was delicious at the Bistro cafe which is on the ground floor of the hotel. We met some of the most pleasant and welcoming staff. We had breakfast every morning here. Top notch service were provided by Ricardo, Amelia, Avril (all bartenders as we ate and drank at the bar). Nirvanie and some other servers whose names I can’t remember. The hostesses were all very nice as well. Kurt the manager was also very friendly. Jamilette, our housekeeper ensured that our room was clean at all times. Everyone was very polite and helpful. My only concern was that the water pressure in the shower was low. Even though the pressure at the sink was high. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

• Alan (8/5): Helpful Staff, Convenient Restaurant, Clean and Safe - The beds were clean, staff were friendly, building felt safe and secure. The bistro cafe downstairs is pretty convenient. They offer helpful services like currency exchange and have a list of reliable drivers to help you get to and from the airport and will help you make arrangements if asked. Water pressure was weak in the shower. The shower stalls weren't sealed properly so water leaked onto the bathroom floor, but you can just lay a towel down to catch the puddle.

Most things are in walking distance, Hotel reception was very good At ordering a taxi and getting a price. The hotel could benefit from having a communal area, that seems impossible now. It would be it would’ve been nice to have a kettle.

Bistro's kitchen needs to have a better cooking and delivery process, 38 minutes to serve two poached egg on toast, with only one couple in front of me, feels extremely poor, that said the food is delicious and its a very popular spot with hotel guests and Guyanese try the Thai curry it was excellent.

• Terence (2/5): No value for money - 1. The breakfast tasted good 2. The staff were courteous but it does not count when they are ineffective at WiFi and meals. 3. The room was very clean and there were no malodors. 1. I had to wait a long time for breakfast in Sun 28th as the cook was not out at 7 am and I was stressed as had to go for flight back 2. Fri dinner I was not told that the shrimps had pepper in them - very uncomfortable for me as I began to cough 3. There was no gym!!! At 400 USD per night there is no hotel I thought in the world that would do me such a disservice. 4. There was no lift, I was on the 3rd floor, I did not mind the exercise but it was not nice when I had to tote my luggage! 5. The WiFi was NOT working when I got there, the lady at the front tried to make me believe it was my equipment failure!! I took out my laptop and it too could not connect. Finally when I said I want to leave and book elsewhere then she reached technician who fixed it within 3 mins- this was gross inefficiency. 6. The surroundings looked dangerous so I did no feel safe to go out for a run!

No elevator. - The presidential room was nice No hot water one morning and very little on the 2nd morning. They don’t tell you that there is not an elevator. The presidential is on the 3rd floor. No one offered to carry luggage. At dinner the pork chops was burnt and very tough and the cream of potatoes went bad

The coffee was substandard and expensive. I think the cost was a bit high for this location where the guards suggested against going out on foot. Seedy neighborhood although close to downtown.

The only downside- There are larger than normal spaces under the room door which noise and light comes in.l through. A rolled towel helps but if anyone is having a coversation in the corridor, you definitely feel a part of it.

BISTRO is the best! I haven’t had a bad meal there. The bartenders are also very friendly and talented. They make some of The best cocktails and provide quality service. Dislikes : our first room had an odor , and was on the side of the property where the generator is located, so there was constant noise. Additionally, the property is being improved so there was construction during the day and materials in the hallway during my visit. I complained to the front desk staff about my room and, the manager immediately came to speak with me and relocated us. I gave this review 4 stars because of the noise nuisance and the initial smelly room. But, once we were relocated , our visit went smoothly. I have recommended this property to friends and family and will definitely stay there again.

The location is close to may eateries and there is a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was great and needed in the hot climate. We did eat at the Bistro restaurant next door, the food is excellent

Should have some sandwiches or something for guests arriving early so bring something with you. Location is good and like I said perfectly functional. Bistro restaurant is good and food excellent
