Services provided like a 5 stars hotel. - the location is awesome, super convenient walkable to many delicious restaurant with great values. Breakfast is very inexpensive and give us more vietnamese cuisine selection. The staff is super nice, friendly and accommodating. I had some medical procedures and they were very attentive to me. none.

The owner speaks English and French, and the staff are very friendly. Good value for money. The rooms aren't all new (with only a small window in the cheapest rooms), but for the price they're comfortable enough.

• mochagal37 (6/5): Last night in Saigon - This is my second time staying here at this hotel. I stay here to be close to my cousin home so I can visit her. It looks like the room quality is on a decline here. For the money, it is better to stay in District 1 and also to be close to much other attractions. My room this time is 30% less than my other room last year. I am a little disappointed. My mattress is a little on the softer side for once. The mattresses I have experienced in other hotels this week have been on the very firm/hard side. I hope to get a good night sleep. The shower can have an additional glass door added. It was hard to take a shower and trying to keep the water from spilling all over thr floor. I did get 2 water bottles for free in the room. So it was nice to make myself a cup of tea before bed.
• raqibchowdhury (10/5): Excellent Service and Friendly Staff - As a Visiting Professor at a local university, I come to visit Saigon and I am put up in this hotel. On three different occasions (in 2015, 2017 and 2018) I have now spent nearly two months in this hotel and it is my hotel of choice in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. Small and friendly, and located very conveniently in District 3 close to the city centre, shopping malls, tourist attractions and parks. The overall service is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly, outstandingly professional and always courteous in their demeanour and approach. Their communications skills in English are excellent. I have seen the same level of work ethic and eagerness to help in all staff from the Manager to the security staff. The rooms are very clean and spacious; the amenities are generous and always topped up, room service is prompt and friendly, wifi is fast and reliable. A security safe/locker would be a good feature to have. The restaurant serves a wide range of choices and the included breakfast has many options to choose from - both local and international. The ca phe sua da (iced milk coffee) is particularly good. On one occasion, I borrowed money from the front desk to pay for a taxicab when I ran out. On other occasions, the hotel staff promptly arranged to get me a spare helmet or an umbrella when I needed one. In particular, I would like to thank the FO Team, including Mrs Ha Chau (the Manager), Ms Bao Tran, Ms Thuy Trang, Ms Ngoc Tuyet and Mr Minh Triet for always being there for me. Throughout my visits, I have felt like home and the hotel has truly been my family away from home. I am appreciative of the kind and generous support extended to me from the very professional hotel staff. I will always choose this hotel in Saigon. I look forward to seeing you again next year, Minh Khang!

• 884joshuag (8/5): nice hotel but no elevator - The room was nice and quiet, it was clean as well but we were on the 5th or 6th floor, they don't have elevator. staff is nice and price is cheaper than the others nearby. looks simple on the ground floor but rooms are good.
• Selena (6/5): Good hotel in District 3 - I rented two rooms here at this hotel for my family. The rooms were on the small size and good AC available. I was disappointed that the rooms did not come with a safety box. For this hotel cost it should come with a safety box. It is a pain having to carry all of your important stuff with you. The bed is medium to hard. I was able to sleep on this mattress. I would prefer a softer bed but it was sleepable. I really like the location because it is walkable around town with shops nearby. The staff were very professional and helpful. You get 2 water bottles in your room on the counter but there is a charge for everything else in the refrigerator. I stayed at two other hotels in the Ben Thanh area and there was not charge for the drinks in the refrigerator. I would stay at this hotel again to be close to my relative and the convenience..

• SalimosDeBilbao (6/5): Average, clean but there where ants - We asked arround an this was amongst the lowest prices arround the bus area. It wasn´t as good as previous resting places for this price but good enough for the night. There where ants in the room, despite that no further problems.
• HongV6 (8/5): Good business hotel - The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Lobby is nice and comfortable. Distance to city center is short, quite easy to get to. Local restaurants are nearby, convinience shops is just 3 mins away. Room is clean though small but good for business travel. Bathroom is clean. Service is good. Very quite hotel
• Amokhtari700 (10/5): Excellent hotel: Service, price, location and friendliness of staff - Well, I am a regular business traveller and it has been fours years since I am visiting Vietnam and every time I have stayed in this hotel. The rooms are always clean, hotel staff and manager are very friendly and also helpful, so for sure the price is worth it. location was it's also close enough to the centre, if you are a walking person, it won't take you much to get to city centre. Apart from the reasons I mentioned, there is one other important reason which I prefer to stay in Ming Khang hotel is I feel very safe and like home here. When you travel a lot, nothing is better when you arrive in the hotel, someone recognise you by name and say hello and welcome to you.
• S5286NCkarens (10/5): Perfect Escape - One of the only good things in Ho Chi Minh. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very quiet. The staff are very accommodating and try there best to communicate with you. Breakfast was very good. Good cafes to eat close by. The city is an easy walk. They do not rip you off unlike the rest of this city.
• NguyenT2166 (8/5): Great hotel to stay - I had a trip to Saigon for 3 days, and I was here as my friend had advised me to choose it. Not so far from the central area. The room is not so big but clean and cozy. Breakfast is ok since I did not have much choices. Staffs are really helpful and friendly. The boy at the Receptionist counter showed me the place to by raw coffee with good price. There is a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel, just wanna let you guys know. Will be back here if I have chances
• Kimkimkim9 (2/5): Horrible experience ever - I was on a business trip and stayed at Minh Khang Hotel for 11 nights. It was supposed to be 16 nights but I left earlier. The other night I was in bed in a t-shirt and watching television. Suddenly, someone outside tried to open my door with a key "at 9:30 pm" without knocking and calling my name. I am a 25-year-old girl, staying alone at the hotel. I was extremely scared, couldn't speak anything. Someone finally opened the door, I shouted who it is. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" in MAN'S VOICE. I was so freaked out. It was a male staff to give me laundry back. He said he thought there was no one in my room. Thank god second door lock was there. I shouted at him to leave laundry outside. I cried out for a while in a shock. After 40 minutes, when i opened the door to talk to a receptionist, he was at the hallway, outside the room. Second horror. (Maybe he was on shift that night in his casual clothes. I never seen night staffs at the hallway before though.) He kept saying it was an accident and receptionist said she didn't see me coming in and she told him so. (Excuse me? even they didn't look at me when I entered the hotel most of time) I had had breakfast everyday more than a week. I'm sure all the staffs knew I was staying alone.(It is not a big hotel.) Also, I usually came back to the room right after work. I complained to the manager next morning and got a refund and moved to another hotel. I have traveled abroad quite a lot, and this was the worst experience ever in my life. Here are my questions. Q1, Can hotel staffs just come into customer's room without knocking if they GUESS there's no one? Q2, Can it be an ACCIDENT to open customer's door at late night? + There was no locker in my room. + The picture shows how housekeeper treated my shoes until I asked not to put my shoes like a mountain. Thanks.
• gc20215 (10/5): Great value, nice and clean - After having a horrible experience at another hotel in the city, I was so relieved to find Ming Khang. The place is clean, the wait staff and security guards are helpful, and the aircon and wifi both work great. Just like a middle tier American hotel, but for only around 30USD a night. The location is very convenient. Not directly in the most touristy parts of the city (in District 1) but still very close walking distance to main attractions like the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Post Office, and City Hall. Would highly recommend this hotel.
• calcutta666 (10/5): Lot of hotel for little money - I have stayed in a lot of hotels in HCMC, usually in district 1. The difference between backpackers and a more upmarket hotel is usually huge both in standards and cost. This time I was recommended to come here by a Vietnamese friend as the hotel I now usually stay at was fully booked. This turned out lucky for us. It's only a few blocks to district 1 but there is all you need right here and at half the price. The hotel is lovely, it's clean and comfortable, the beds are great, breakfast is delicious and the staff really go out of their way to help you in any way they can. We have come back to here after a trip to Danang and this will definitely be our choice in future.
• PaulVWilliams (6/5): OK budget hotel - This is an OK budget hotel, twin room was bearable size, air conditioning very noisy and we couldn't adjust it and no hot water from the shower! Breakfast was nice and the staff were excellent going well beyond the call of duty several times. Location is also OK, a few local restaurants nearby and only a very short taxi ride from the centre.
• 285emilyw (10/5): Very good would stay again! - Extended our stay 3 times.Comfortable room that was clean and tidy. Cleaned everyday. Very good A/C, fridge, kettle in room. Free water. Comfy bed. Hairdryer. Booked through agoda for a good rate, but when extended our stay we got a better deal through hotel itself. Breakfast: you pick one drink and one dish. Good variety of choice though. Pancakes and french toast is delicious! Both served with bananas. Yum! Quiet place , I. E.no noise heard from road. This is a rare thing here as os soooo noisy everywhere. near everything you want to see in saigon. Everything you would want to see here is no more than a 20 minute walk away. Would recommend staying here, rather than backpacker area. You get hassled constantly there. Not around where this hotel is. Good choice of food around- bakerys, street food and even pizza hut is a 5 minute walk from here. War museum is a 10 min walk. Lots of nearby parks to chill out in too that are also no more than 5 mins walk. Backpacker street is a 15 min walk. Vin mart is accross the street to pick up drinks too! Fabulous hotel!
• KLAM88 (10/5): Amazing service - I have stayed here for 3 days for a short trip in Ho Chi Minh city in order walk to my office easily. I did not expect to much for any service or facility thus all needed is location. However I was impressed a lots since my arrival with the dedicated receptionist (Tuyet) who checked in for me. The room is clean & tidy as well as internet is free but fast. The staff always remain their friendliest & most helpful. The breakfast is not much choices but equal for the room rate. My last impression was even better that I was given a bid farewell by hotel manager who are leading the entire team very much. I would highly recommend this hotel for you & I am sure that you never been disappointed.

• JetShiba (4/5): "Got Cheated-like" impression. - Moved from Hanoi, after a week stay at Hanoi L'Heritage Hotel. Before leaving Hanoi, I called Minh Khang hotel and asked to give me airport pick up service. A lady on the phone told me that I should email them to request the service. So I emailed them again to ask for the airport pick up. They emailed me following day saying that their driver got car accident resulted no car services provided. Also, I asked them to give me a room with a nice view and they responded me "everybody says so. So we cannot guarantee it." I am here in Ho chi minh city and staying in a room with "NO VIEW". I will never stay this hotel again. (But I have to be here until 26MAR. too bad)
• yellow2103 (2/5): Felt cheated - The room wasn't the same as the pictures they had posted. Air conditioning is a big boo boo. But the staffs are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is not very near to convenient shops. Gotta walk about 10mins to the nearest convenient store.
• 33PatrickB (8/5): Decent option with some room for improvements - Stayed in one of their larger rooms and would say that the size met my expectations. I had read many reviewers mention the rooms being rather small. Seeing the spacing in the hallways between rooms, I am rather sure this is correct. We were in one of the front facing large rooms. Rooms: It is what would you expect in this price range. Small annoyances were outlets that didn't work very well. Plugs don't fit snug and this led to out mini-bar often just being off, although plugged in. Bed was ok, could a bit larger. Bathroom fine. At least has its own stand up shower that doesn't cause the entire bathroom to be flooded after every shower, like many budget/mid-range hotels in Vietnam. However, wish the blinds could create real darkness without having to rig them yourself to do so. Also, our room had a long wooden bench built along the windows. They could add cushions along this or use the space rather for a couple of small chairs. Service was rather good. Friendly people happy to help. I would say the nicest part of the hotel is the restaurant/cafe area on the first floor. They have some outdoor seating and very good VN coffee. Breakfast was ok, not great, but better than many other places in this category and with far more choice with a small a la carte menu, rather than a small "buffet" than many places offer. All-in-all, a decent place, but I had a larger room, so can't speak for the layout or size of the standard rooms.
• KevinN98007 (8/5): Great for the value - All staff provided excellent service. Breakfast was simple but great. Room kind of small, simple, had contemporary style, nice and clean. Good location. Wifi was good. I would stay at this hotel again. Ask for higher floor if one doesn’t want to hear noise from the street.
