• Fritha (9/5): - Beautiful apartment with everything you need. Nicely appointed, warand comfortable. Lovely lounge room with big TV. Super comfy bed with TV in bedroom too with lots of channels. Proper washing machine and dryer and dishwasher with lots of detergent. Very warm and cozy. Very convenient to the main bus stop for airport and tours. Very friendly helpful staff including bag storage with bags in our room for second stay. Delicious breakfast up at the hotel at reasonable price. Lovely restaurant down the steps from the apartment with best cocktails. Highly recommend. The check-in is at the hotel opposite which was a bit of a hike up the hill but it is 24 hours reception and super helpful. The apartment doesn't have a view of the harbour just the street but we were happy with that as it was light and airy with a little balcony and right near the waterfront so we could stroll and enjoy it. Thank you very much will stay again.

Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from at Salamanca Place. Our mattress was saggy with a rise where the single mattresses join together - to the point we had to flip one mattress.

• Helen (8/5): Comfy, spacious with great water pressure from shower. - It was a large room. The shower was fantastic…no door! Having a dryer meant that we had warm towels. We watched our Netflix shows. Having a microwave to heat things was great. The chairs were comfy for sitting and reading and there were two of them. The apartment was light and we enjoyed the warming sun on our backs. The staff were professional and kind. The amenities…crockery etc were only ok. The location was great but not the view. The bed was huge but we joked about having to cross the dividing range to cuddle…it had a hump where the beds joined. However, we slept well.

• Rebecca (10/5): Cosy, close and everything you need. - Salamanca Suites was an incredibly comfortable stay, included all amenities of an apartment and very close proximity to the heart of Hobart. The staff were always most friendly and helpful, giving us extra towels or detergents or bathroom amenities as needed. Staff were extra accommodating when we requested a late checkout as we were travelling with a baby, they allowed us to stay until midday which meant we didn't have to carry our luggage and car seats to reception to store and we were allowed to store infant milk in the fridge until the last minute of leaving given the later checkout. This really helped our travel home with an infant and made our experience so relaxed and enjoyable. The details and over and above service really goes a long way, and the rooms are the perfect place to stay with everything needed for a cosy getaway. We stay each year and can't wait to return. • Denise (10/5): Highly recommend Salamanca Suites as a place to stay when you are in Hobart. - Salamanca Suites are situated in the wonderful Salamanca area of Hobart. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Galleries, supermarket, and a very well stocked second hand bookshop. Walking distance to wharves for boat trips. Felt a very safe area. Nothing could be improved. It was perfect!

• Henry (9/5): A pleasant and enjoyable stay! - Excellent location right next to the Salamanca Market and Taste of Summer. It is situated right in the heart of the city, neighbouring two supermarkets that were a 15-minute walk away, close to the MONA pier, many tour pickup points as well as many restaurants closeby including the Mures Upper Deck. The room itself comes with a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a washing machine plus dryer and a balcony overlooking the view of the harbour; perfect for families. The concierge was very helpful, they allowed us to leave our luggage at the front desk for a few hours after we checked out. There is daily housekeeping, however occasionally the living room was not vacuumed properly and there were hairs and dirt on the floor. The drawers storing the utensils could be cleaner.

• Yinghua (9/5): A happy experience. - The hotel facilities are very well-equipped and comfortable, and both the bedroom and bathroom are exceptionally clean, making for a very pleasant stay. If the room doors could be fitted with a soft-closing mechanism to prevent them from slamming, the experience would be absolutely perfect.
