Patrick (10/5): - Sehr schöne Unterkunft, perfekte Lage direkt im Centrum der Stadt. Paolo und Rossella sind zwei super nette Menschen, die haben uns den Aufenhalt mehr als bequem gemacht. Paolo hat uns ein Parkplatz mit üick up und Drop off Möglichkeit organisiert, wir konnten vor der Unterkunft halten, und das Auto wurde abgeholt, wenn wir es brauchten, war es innerhalb von 5 min vor der Unterkunft. Rossella war sehr sehr nett, zuvorkommend und stets ihr bestes gegeben. Wir haben von Ihr Local Informationen und super tolle restaurant Vorschläge bekommen. Alles was sie uns empfohlen hat war klasse. Sie hat sich immer die Zeit genommen wenn sie da war. Vielen dank Paolo und Rossellla ❤️ Gibt nichts rundum zufrieden

Simon (10/5): Super Lage und unbedingt Kontakt mit Paolo aufnehmen. - Das Townhouse Tropea liegt sehr zentral, sodass alle Shops, Restaurants und der Strand fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ist. Das Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück war sehr freundlich. Die Reinigungskräfte haben täglich sehr gründlich gereinigt. Vielen Dank! Hervorzuheben ist auch die schöne Dachterrasse zum Frühstücken oder einfach zum Entspannen am Abend. Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal erfolgte bereits im Vorfeld unkompliziert über WhatsApp. Hier empfehlen wir jedem auch Paolo zu kontaktieren. Er ist der Sohn des Besitzers und kümmert sich um Fragen und Probleme. Außerdem hat er uns eine private Bootstour offeriert, die wir gemacht haben. Diese können wir jedem Gast empfehlen. Er erklärt viel zu Tropea, fährt alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten an und es besteht die Möglichkeit zu entspannen, zu Baden/Schnorcheln und Wein zu trinken. Er richtet sich dabei nach den Wünschen der Gäste. Wirklich super. Die Atmosphäre war sehr freundschaftlich und ein super Ausflug. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl, sodass Menschen mit Einschränkungen oder beim Tragen des Gepäcks ggf. Hilfe benötigen.

Very clean, comfortable accommodation with breakfast on lovely roof terrace. We loved the area around Tropea too and the Townhouse was a great base for exploring.

The room was clean and a huge thank you to the staff who were very helpful throughout our stay. There are a lot of stairs this didn’t worry us but someone with less mobility may want to consider a location that has a lift.
Astrid (9/5): Toll, sehr bemüht, zentrale Lage, neu renoviertes Haus. - uns hat der coole style des Hotels gefallen, welches mit viel Liebe zum Detail neu renoviert wurde. Angenehmer schlichter beach style. der check in war zu langwierig, vorallem das wlan paßwort könnte man einfacher zugängig machen. Leider war die Garage nicht zu finden, was uns abends einen Zeitverlust von 1,5 stunden bescherte. Das war nervig. Die Dame bei Frühstück war offensichtlich genervt, Gäste zu bedienen. Das Buffet war ausreichend, der Blick der Terrasse super, die Bedieung jedoch mit negativen vibes, schade.

C'è la disponibilità di un parcheggio privato a pagamento vicino l'hotel, cosa che abbiamo utilizzato per non doverci preoccupare dell'auto.

Marina (9/5): Enjoyable stay in Tropea - Townhouse Tropea is located in a great part of town and was within easy walking distance to the beach. The room was impeccably clean (thank you to the amazing cleaner) and we enjoyed the generous and delicious breakfast. The room was comfortable, although smaller than other rooms on our travels. Paolo was great at helping us with information and recommendations for our stay, and we also went on a boat ride with him, which we loved. The hotel also has a secure carpark available (at a fee) within walking distance from the hotel. We thought the room was noisy at night, so we recommend packing earplugs. Our room was located on the 4th floor with no lift, which we found challenging with luggage.

Stephen (10/5): Start to Finish 10+ - My wife and I stayed 9 nights at Townhouse Tropea. From the start everything was above expectations. Paolo the owner’s son picked us up at the airport. On the ride from the airport, he provided us information about Tropea and its many offerings from the Beaches to the Restaurants. It is a hotels job to make your stay enjoyable. The difference about Townhouse is they did it out of true caring for their guests not because it was their job. We stayed in Room 202. We had a nice balcony with a partial view of the Sea. The location is the best. Everything you want from the beach to the many fine restaurants are not more than a 5-minute walk. The shower was excellent with instant hot water and plenty of pressure. The a/c was also good. The room was well appointed with a mini bar, desk, sofa and Queen size comfortable bed. The hotel has a solarium on the roof to enjoy your morning breakfast. You must get their breakfast it is a wonderful bargain and Ayelene who was always smiling and pleasant is there to prepare your style of coffee and prepare fresh eggs. The buffet has all you would want. You can also go to the Solarium in the evening with a bottle of wine and look over the Town of Tropea. In the full season they also have a bartender in the evening. Sara cleaned our rooms. I guarantee you cannot find anyone who does a better job. The room is spotless. The room is cleaned early it was completed no later than 11:30. Sofia works the desk and always greets you with a smile and a Buon Giorno or Buona Sera. She is there to answer any questions you may have. Just a quick note about how caring and professionalism of Townhouse. I had a medical issue and Paolo had a driver pick us up and take us to the hospital. He checked in at the hospital to see my progress and had someone drive me back to the hotel. He checked in the following morning to see if we needed anything. This is an organization that cares about their guests. We can’t wait to return to see our friends
Hugo (9/5): Very charm and cosy hotel - Very charm and cosy hotel, equipped with beautiful and modern furniture/decoration; Competent and nice staff; Excellent breakfast for a very reasonable price; Perfect location in Tropea's city center. One has to climb three floor stairs to reach the room. Is challenging to get a parking place in Tropea during high seasons.

Katharine (9/5): We loved the Townhouse and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of old Tropea. - Lovely old town house on the edge of the old town. Great views from the roof terrace, where a very good breakfast is served. The service from the receptionists was exceptional. We had a great stay here after a bit of disastrous introduction to the town, and it really made up for it. Being an old building, there are quite a few stairs to navigate; and there was a lot of noise from the street late into the night and early in the morning - but that’s what you get for a central location.
My (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed our stay at Tropea Townhouse. The room was very nice and the location was perfect in the center of Tropea. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of things to choose from. The best part for us was the warm welcoming and the good service. The receptionist Rossella was so helpful and gave us a lot of good tips where to eat and helped us with both dinner reservations and finding the best transfer to the airport.
Christopher (10/5): Great location and great property. - Everything was fantastico! The staff, the rooms, the location, and the roof top terrace. We enjoyed every part of this property. We would stay here again and again and recommend to our family and friends. Truly the only down side was the stairs to the room. We didn’t have any issue walking up and down them but if you are someone who has heavy luggage or can’t climb 3 flights of stairs this might not be for you.

She was a great host, very personable and a true asset to townhouse! Nothing was too much, everything was effortless and she was very hospitable making us very welcome throughout our stay 💯. Our daily maid was one of the best we have ever experienced, she was incredible at organising and resetting the room each day, all her efforts were greatly appreciated !! The air conditioning whilst it was modern it did struggle to keep the room cool, rooms are a little small if you are on a long trip with lots of luggage but this is also expected from central historic locations.

I would ad a lounge chair to relax and take sun and maybe some plants.
Lisa (5/5): Nice looking hotel with friendly staff, but not suitable for families or those wishing to stay longer. - The staff were great and very friendly. Especially the ladies at reception were very helpful and attentive. The lady who cleaned the rooms is a jewel of this hotel. She does an excellent job. The interior of the hotel is clean and very nice. We liked to spend time on the roof with the view. We booked the suite as we were travelling with a one year old. The room was quite small. The 'balcony' we were looking for to sit on while the little one slept was not possible as there was barely room for a chair. I wouldn't call the walls soundproof either. We could hear everything that was going on on the floor. And I feel sorry for our neighbours who might have heard the little one crying or complaining. There was also not much storage space for our clothes and luggage. Breakfast was definitely very one-sided and limited.

No Elevator had to carry luggage up 7 flights of stairs. Need to upgrade with an elevator. Parking was off site and additionally charged $24.00 that wasn't mentioned in the reservation and after I sent a message to confirm parking. Nothing was mentioned until we were onsite with our luggage
Isabella (8/5): Great stay in an amazing location. - Amazing location right in the middle of Tropea old town, only 10 mins walk to the beach. Clean compact rooms with a small balcony. Great rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. Quite noisy at times - can hear other guests in the stairwell.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and coordinated with a garage for parking within easy walking distance to the hotel. The gentleman who ran the garage was also very nice and accommodating. The room was lovely and included a balcony. We took advantage of the rooftop area for breakfast and enjoying the sun. It was a lovely small hotel and we would stay there again when visiting Tropea. As in many places, there are stairs to climb with your bags so be prepared for this. Nothing

Angelina (9/5): To make your vacation truly memorable, this is the perfect boutique hotel - Location: in the midst of cafes, gelaterias, shops, bars, restaurants, nightlife spots, and boutiques. Approximately 10 mins stroll to beach. The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot to catch the sunset. The hotel personnel David is extremely helpful, friendly and gives great tips and recommendations. We had tried most of the ones he highlighted. There is no lift. About 75 steps to the 2nd level. I am thankful that David helped with our 🧳 luggage🙏

The location couldn't be better, offering stunning views of the rolling mountains from not only the amazing rooftop, but also from our room/balcony. What truly sets this place apart though is the receptionist - David - who went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met with enthusiasm and care. He even surprised us with a room upgrade and in general simply made us very comfortable throughout all the stay. If you're looking for a little cozy stay in a prime location including exceptional service - stop searching. 10/10

Even eggs and bacon made on request which was lovely. Only issue was all the stairs with luggage. definately got a work out but David was amazing and always happy to assist.

Christopher (7/5): Fantastic location, great staff, a few points to consider to make it amazing. - Fantastic central location, walking distance to all the best restaurants and bars and to the seafront. David (front of house) was fantastic and no request was too much, proactive in keeping in touch by text message and greeting you each day, as was the service staff at breakfast. Ineffective air conditioning that could not keep the room at the desired temperature until the early hours of the morning. Terrace/Sun Terrace bar not open, only open for breakfast coffees. No facility to make tea/coffee in your room or on the terrace once breakfast had finished. House Cleaning everyday was too much, it’s environmentally damaging and having the cleaning staff rearrange your cases and room on a daily basis is frustrating, especially when the Do Not Disturb light doesn’t stay lit. The staff did a wonderful job but it’s just too frequent, two or three times a week would be appropriate.
