Ben (10/5): Thank you!! - I had and unfortunate delay getting to the hotel before the lobby closed on Friday evening! Since I arrived after the lobby closed, I did not see anyone inside but was met with a sign on the door saying if you had reservations to check your email for after hours check in instructions. I checked my email and did not find anything. I was standing in the rain at the front door and sent an email to the booking company asking for help. I heard nothing for a good while so I left the property and continued to travel as there was no where else to stay. I finally heard from my booking company at 4 AM that they had not passed on my email to the hotel so they would not have been able to get me the after ours notification. I asked if the hotel might have sent that instruction to the booking company so I would have known what to do! The hotel got my note and was gracious and professional to consider my dilemma. They subsequently did not charge me for the stay since I had not cancelled but just did not know what further to do to remedy the situation. This is a company with integrity and is worth supporting. When I travel back this way, I will most assuredly be staying here. Thank you for helping turn a crazy situation into one where I find the good stuff in people that continue to bring hope. gail (10/5): Our stay was comfortable and satisfying. - The location was very close to the complex that my granddaughters tournament was at. The check in was simple and fast. The clerk was very helpful with giving us information about the surrrounding area. The breakfast was good. Fresh fruit, grits, oatmeal, cereals, toast, juice, coffee and yogurt. It would have been nice to have waffles.

Kelli (6/5): Not what it used to be. - This is my second stay at the Heritage Inn. I am from DeQuincy and make the trek home to visit family. My last stay was 18 months ago and was quite pleasant. The internet was good for my work, the room was comfortable and clean. My visit this time wasn’t as good. The internet barely scraped up a single bar, my room smelled horribly musty and old, there was visible wear, tear, and staining. I hate to see it, because it’s truly the only decent place to stay in town. My next visit will likely be to a hotel in Sulphur unless the Heritage Inn does some maintenance and upgrades.

The two days we were there they only had a cold breakfast which was a bummer. They also had no swimming pool which was disappointing since both days we stayed there were hot days.

Beverly (10/5): DeQuincy 'Jewel' Hotel - The little thoughtful extras like full length mirrors, quality products, room darkening curtains, quiet hallway carpeting and easy room access. The studio room includes a full sized refrigerator and microwave, a dishwasher and an induction cooktop. Very comfortable beds and friendly staff. Nice hotel for such a small town. When we return we will definitely state again.

The front office was close. I tried to call the motel like 9 times no answer. We had to sleep in the truck for the night. Went back the next day to try to get a refund. They said no refund $109.00 Really doesn’t make any sense to close a motel at night. So we had to sleep in a hot truck but had a room that we couldn’t get too.
