• lee (10/5): If you want a quiet relaxing stay then this is ideal. Staff are extremely helpful and polite. We will definitely be stay - Very peaceful location, room was clean and well maintained. Parking was a problem outside of apartments, limited parking spaces so had to park further down the road.

• Matthew Steer (8/5): Decent little apartment, but in a quiet residential area a long way from facilities - We had a compact, comfortable and fairly well equipped little self-catering apartment, with the bonus that they provided some breakfast every morning. It was quiet and peaceful, staff were friendly. Sol Mogan Suites are in a little residential area a long way from any facilities like shops or restaurants (you'd have to drive), and parking is actually a bit tricky - we usually had to park 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is pretty small and does the job, but nothing about it feels deluxe.

Personeel allemaal supervriendelijk. Ze geven je een heel welkom gevoel. Mss de weinige parkeerplek was een klein minpuntje. Het water van het zwembad mocht een graadje warmer maar das persoonlijk.

• Helene (10/5): I would definitely recommend for a quiet place to stay - I really wanna recommend if u want a quiet and relaxing place to stay away from touristy hotels. It’s a bit far away from the town so we either walked for 30-40mins or took a taxi to the town. I really recommend to get a car so u can travel around the island.
• Micky (8/5): - Het was een mooie locatie. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en we werden heel goed ontvangen. Rustig en het zwembad is wel een meerwaarde. Een goed bed. Er was spijtig genoeg geen parkeerplaats voorzien en op de straat was niet altijd plaats. Het ontbijt was basic,er was geen thee bij,er mag wat meer variatie zijn en ook een broodje meer voorzien, 1 broodje is weinig. Ik zou een ander merk van yoghurt nemen want "Kalise" is niet lekker.

• Simone (10/5): Perfetto per le nostre esigenze - Struttura molto graziosa , in una zona tranquilla, abbondante colazione portata in camera , bellissima la parte esterna con piscina e sdraie Ci siamo trovati molto bene L’unica pecca se così si può dire il parcheggio per chi ha l’auto , purtroppo gli spazi limitati richiedono qualche passo in più se non lo si trova vicino , ma ne vale la pena ugualmente

A nice, downhill 40 min walk to town or the local busses run 8mins past every hour & the stop is a 2min walk from apartments, with also the option of taking one of the bikes you can use for free. The pool area & pool are brilliant. No crazy "bagging" sunbeds here. Lack of parking choices, but that's not really the owners fault.

Nogle gange var pladsen 300 m også optaget, ket krævede "kreative/halv-ulovlige" løsninger.

• Boddington (9/5): Fantastic apartment - This was a lovely apartment with everything you needed. The view of pool was lovely. Bed really comfy and quiet and dark at night. There was also a book exchange, recycling, bike loan, beautiful pool area, even a gym. Staff were helpful and we really appreciated being able to use apartment till we left in the afternoon. You could walk up into the hills nearby. Nice walk into Puerto de Mogan. Buses were really reliable and taxis easy to get back from town. We mainly liked everything but would have preferred a "help yourself" breakfast so we could have chosen more what we wanted. We weren't able to adjust both the bikes so one was uncomfortable! It was quite a long walk into town.

• Paul (6/5): - - Check-in was easy and convenient and the host is very friendly - Most importantly: Getting around without a rental car can be quite inconvenient—for example, the nearest supermarket and the public bus stop to the airport are about a 30-minute walk. Make sure you have a rental car or are prepared for a lot of walking. - Breakfast quality could be improved; I often skipped it, which is a shame since it’s delivered to your door daily. - There were no “Do Not Disturb” signs on the door, so sleeping in can be tricky if room cleaning starts early. - The walls are quite thin, so noise from other rooms and the hallway is easily audible.

I personally would not return to apartment 5 it’s small and basic. I understand there are many more that are more spacious look out for that. Staff were helpful.

La única pega,es el aparcamiento. Delante solo hay sitio para cuatro coches, tienes que bajar abajo al camino, pero está a unos metros. Porque sí aparcas justo al lado es raia amarillo y ponen multa.

• Silvia d. (7/5): Posto giusto per qualche giorno in relax - Mi dispiace andare un po controcorrente rispetto ai giudizi che leggo online, ma devo essere onesta e basarmi sulla mia esperienza. La stanza era carina e il fatto che sia presente un cucinino è un valore aggiunto, molto pratico. La zona esterna con la piscina è curata e si puo stare in relax senza schiamazzi, essendo un hotel adults only, motivo tra i quali è stato la nostra scelta. Quando siamo andati via, in reception ci hanno salutato e consegnato un pensierino, gesto molto gradito. La struttura dista 8/10 minuti di auto dal centro del paesino. Se non avete la macchina pero è un problema La colazione viene servita tra le 8.30 o, piu spesso, alle 9, per le mie esigenze veramente troppo tardi. È composta da prodotti confezionati, ad esclusione di due uova fresche e due panini. In tutta la settimana non c è stato mai il cambio delle lenzuola, ne alcuna pulizia all interno della stanza. Gli asciugamani si. Purtroppo un pomeriggio mentre stavamo dormendo, ci hanno bussato alla porta quelle delle pulizie e noi abbiamo risposto che la stanza era occupata. Hanno allora inserito la chiave e iniziato a forzare la serratura, ma chiaramente essendoci la nostra chiave inserita non sono potute entrare. Al che, istintivamente, abbiamo gridato "ooooh" (della serie siamo dentro, peraltro nudi, non entrate). Come risposta abbiamo avuto un "oooooh" da parte di una di loro, che ha poi continuato a bussare alla porta. Al che parecchio indispettita mi sono alzata, vestita e ho aperto la porta. La ragazza non parlava una parola di inglese quindi col mio spagnolo basico ho detto di cambiarmi solo gli asciugamani. Non so, personalmente mi è sembrata una scena tratta dal teatro dell assurdo. Altra cosa: il parcheggio. Il parcheggio è inesistente. Di fronte alla struttura ci sono 5 stalli sempre occupati. Per trovarne un altra decina si deve camminare un duecento metri. Finiti quelli, che raramente sono liberi la sera, si deve andare in uno sterrato molto lontano. Insomma un disagio non da poco.
• ROSARIO (9/5): - Desayuno bueno. El alojamiento está un poco alejado de la zona de playa y del pueblo. Es muy tranquilo. Que para ir a un restaurante o salir a comprar algo tienes que ir en coche.

We could hear everything through our apartment walls. Had to move the mattress off the bed away from the adjoining bedroom to try and get away from snoring etc next door. Was told pool was heated but it was cold.

• Susan (8/5): Pleasant stay for a few days. - Everything appeared fresh and new - decor, bedding, bathroom etc. very comfortable bed. Excellent shower, plenty of hot water. Pretty garden with a small pool, lots of loungers. Quiet location, so slept well. The balcony was quite enclosed, no sun. Breakfast is a tray brought to the room - over the 4 days, this arrived between 9 and 9.30. Very late to start the day. The breakfast was very uninspiring. (I could have bought my own, as we had a kitchen, although there is no bakery/shop/cafe near the property.) It’s a longish walk into Puerto Morgan (45mins) but there is a bus. Parking near the property is limited, but manageable.

The location is quiet and within a 20 minute walk to the port area and there is a good bus service with a bus stop just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast is delivered to the room each morning with enough content to make a small snack for lunch. There are bicycles available for guest use and there is a small gym. Tranquil garden with pool, plenty of sunbeds and chairs and tables.Ideal place if you want a quiet relaxing holiday. Luckily we had hired a car as it is a forty minute walk to the beach on Porto Mogan.

The pool was nice and the sunbeds were very comfortable. There was a good bus service into the port but we tended to drive in as the walk was a little further than we expected - It took us an hour. We enjoyed the camel ride that we booked, though felt rather sorry for the camels! We were not expecting the breakfasts to be delivered on a tray outside our room. We are used to having breakfasts with others on holiday, so it was rather disappointing not to meet anyone else... For us this is part of the experience. The pool was very quiet - no one talked to each other which we found rather strange!! There was no room for having friends in the room - no extra chairs or space on the balcony

• Colin (10/5): Relaxing, a wonderful location for 'winter' sun with plenty of restaurants for daytime or evening - These suites are in a lovely quiet location away from the busy Port area and a very healthy walk away. The garden and pool area were excellent for relaxing and reading with the pool being big enough for a cooling off swim. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There were no shortcomings.

• Linda (8/5): Lovely and peaceful, in a great location for accessing the South of Gran Canaria. - Excellent location, nice and quiet neighbourhood and it was an easy walk to Puerto de Mogan. Breakfast was lovely. Nice room overlooking the pool, with an excellent balcony. The pillow was too hard, so I had to use the cushions on the bed instead. We would have preferred breakfast served earlier but appreciate that others may prefer a later breakfast.

• Ines (8/5): Gute Gesamterfahrung mit Potenzial - Apartment 1a hat eine sehr große Terrasse mit Liegen und mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten auch um die Hausecke herum, sodass man früh in der Sonne sein kann. Es war schön, ein Frühstück vor die Tür gestellt zu bekommen, auch wenn wir es anders organisieren würden. Das Bett war gut. Auf meine Bitte um ein Schneidebrett für die Küche wurde sofort reagiert. Für 4 Euro konnten wir Wäsche waschen. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ebenso die vielen britischen Stammgäste. Self-Checkin funktionierte einwandfrei. Wir haben die ruhige Lage sehr geschätzt und dass man direkt vom Haus weg in einen Wanderweg, der hoch hinauf über Mogan führt, einsteigen kann. Anstatt einer lauwarmen Kaffeebrühe (diese und die warme Milch für alle Zimmer zuzubereiten ist ein riesen Aufwand), die uns an ein Altersheim oder Krankenhaus erinnert hat, würden wir ordentliche Kaffeemaschinen in die Wohnungen stellen und morgens nur einen Brötchenservice (Säckchen an die Tür) anbieten. Für alles andere sind die Bedürfnisse zu verschieden (Vegetarier, Veganer, Early Birds, etc.) und ich möchte nicht den Berg Müll eines Jahres der ganzen kleinen Verpackungen (Öl, Butter, Marmelade,...) sehen. Weil hier so oft die Parkplatz Situation kritisiert wird: Das wird wirklich gut im Voraus kommuniziert und man muss eben den Spaziergang im schlimmsten Fall von den Plätzen vor dem Kreisverkehr in Kauf nehmen. Ein Auto braucht man unsere Meinung nach. Im Apartment 1a gehört das Sofa eigentlich schon erneuert und ganz allgemein würde es von hochwertigeren Möbeln extrem profitieren.

• Tjaša (4/5): Based on the Booking.com rating and the reviews, we expected a bit more. We were disappointed with the terrace, the bath - Excellent location and a beautiful garden. Very friendly staff. It’s very nice to be welcomed by a bottle of wine on the table. The photos show a view that is not guaranteed for the room you book. This means you may get a room with a view of the neighboring building and the street. A very big problem is parking, which is practically non-existent. Cleanliness in the bathroom could be better. The sink drains were barely working. If you are used to hotel breakfasts, the breakfast here is very basic.

• Stefano (8/5): bella - la posizione è ottima, la camera bella e funzionale, bel il giardino e piscina, la sistemazione è diversa dagli "alveari" che hanno invaso la costa. Non cercate parcheggio vicino alla struttura, non c'è. Si parcheggia a circa 400 metri sulla strada principale, quindi non dimenticate niente in auto. Comoda la colazione in stanza ma è poco varia.

• Himeleers (7/5): - Rustig gelegen, nabij het mooie Mogan.vriendelijke mensen, proper..beddennok, Prijs, kwaliteit ok. Wij zaten in kamer aan de straatkant, waar het terras uitgaf, vlak naast de andere toeristen. Dit vonden we soms wat ongemakkelijk. Parkeren niet eenvoudig. Ontbijt op de kamer vonden wij minder..1 broodje per persoon, koffie en melk in thermos, voor ons lauw.., Je kreeg ook stukje fruit, stukje vlees. En wat confituur, Naar de toekomst zullen we kiezen voor locatie ontbijt op terras of gemeenschappelijke ruimte in het complex.

• Berardino (9/5): Soggiorno da rifare. - Tutto è stato all'altezza delle aspettative, personale sempre gentile e disponibile. Struttura immersa in una oasi di pace, Appartamento comodo e confortevole. Il caffè per noi italiani è importante e purtroppo in tutta l'isola non è facile trovarne di buoni. Quindi sarebbe utile quando ci sono turisti italiani avere almeno una macchina a cialde in camera.

• Carmen (10/5): Una estancia excelente - Una de las cosas que más disfrutamos fue la piscina exterior, rodeada de árboles frutales con vistas a una montaña preciosa. El desayuno súper completo, en general nos gustó mucho.

Tienes todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la estancia. El apartamento muy cuco y con una terraza para disfrutar de las noches de verano. Guillermo nos recomendó playas y sitios donde comer muy rico. Sin duda volveremos muy pronto.
• Diana (10/5): A relaxing, quiet place that has a lot to offer. - This is one of the best accommodations we’ve ever stayed in, and it’s not just one thing that makes this place great but more like several things that add up together to create a wonderful experience. If you are a fancy pants please look somewhere else, but if you are someone that wants to get a real feel of the island, and is looking to connect with nature and reconnect with themselves then this the place is for you! A big plus is how quiet this place is day and night. Swimming in the heated pool surrounded by those gorgeous views and trees full of exotic fruits, without people yelling or splashing, was also very nice. Both of us have stressful jobs so we really appreciated this! Parking is not a problem like other people are saying. You can always find a spot if you are willing to take a 2 minute walk back to the accommodation. However, a rented car is a must (but how else are you going to see all the wonderful things that this island has to offer?) Breakfast is really good and was always served at 9am sharp. We would also like to give a special thank you to one of our hosts, Guillermo, who helped us plan a whole itinerary and gifted us some local honey. You can see when people do their job with passion and understand the meaning of being a host. We will definitely be back!!

• jozef (7/5): Mooie locatie maar heel wat gebreken. - De tuin en het zwembad. Het balkon. Slechte kussens. Heel weinig keukenmateriaal. Sober ontbijt. Zelden parking voor de deur, met dan zoektocht. Weinig bemande receptie, ook niet bij aankomst.
• Minnamaija (9/5): Would like to come back next winter - Very good breakfast, pleasant staff, my terrace was facing the pool at pool level and it was the best room in my opinion. The kitchen is well equipped . The sauna experience was pleasant for one person. The only minus is the difficulty in finding parking spaces nearby if walking is difficult. The pool water is a bit cool in January.

• christine (6/5): - location - Puerto Mogan is lovely and there is a beautiful view of sea and mountains. comfy bed and generally very clean friendly staff There was no one at check in when we arrived. A message was sent to say keys were in lock box but they werent in there ! 4 separate couples arrived around the same time, i had to whatsapp the staff and wait for them to come to property to check everyone in- not the best first impression. We needed to ask for many things which is uncomfortable as it felt like you had to keep bothering them ! there was no clothes airer in our room but did get put in after asking, you had to ask for pool towels and i was asked to go collect them ! should be brought to you i think ! I asked if we could have cheese with the breakfast instead of ham which he was more than happy to do but still gave ham and no cheese ! He forgot our gluten free roll one day so i had to ask for that aswell ! Parking is a nightmare - at no point were we able to park at property so you had to walk 300 yards to spaces. I asked the cleaner to come back in half hour as we weren`t ready to leave- she never returned ! and finally...the bathroom....it absolutely stank the entire time ! the shower curtain was missing so we literally flooded the place every shower !
• Alicja (8/5): Cichy i spokojny, ale do plaży kawałek. - Przestronny, w kuchni wszystko co potrzebne włącznie z ekspresem do kawy, wygodne łóżko, pościel dobrej jakości. Cisza! - hotel naprawdę cichy, co po gwarze turystycznym jest istotne i kojące. Śniadania choć forma super - na tacy pod drzwi, to mało urozmaicone. Jedna bułeczka dla kobiety jest ok, ale dla mężczyzny to trochę jednak za mało, no i całkowity brak warzyw, sok sam cukier. Lokalizacja - do plaży spacerem to dobre pół godziny, a po zmroku już niestety się nie dojdzie, bo droga w części jest nieoświetlona.
