Michelle (2/5): Bring your own towels. - Breakfast was fine. The room was big enough. They only put 2 bath towels in the room that was reserved for 4. When my husband went to get more towels the staff member barely looked up from her phone to say that all the towels in the hotel were in the washer. She offered him pool towels but then said they were all in the washer too. I was already in the shower while this was happening. I dried off with a hand towel and he bought towels at a local store. Also, the AC unit had a rattle that kept us up all night.

Shelania (8/5): Good location, convenient, great staff, overall good deal for the money. - The layout of the room was functional, it was clean, and the indoor pool was excellent. The beds were not very comfortable and the kitchen was not well stocked at all. We booked this room for the sole purpose of being able to have an Easter dinner there, and thank goodness I cooked and prepared the entire meal before leaving Kentucky because there was only a single pit in the kitchen.

Lesson learned.

Mary Beth (10/5): Great stay after MSU football night game - Short drive to MSU’s campus. Short walking distance to shopping and restaurants in Eastwood. Excellent night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. Front desk staff warm and welcoming. Best value during football season with an indoor swimming pool.

Myia (2/5): - For a newer hotel, property wasn’t cleaned and maintained. The front desk staff, Chloe, wasn’t helpful. She said the terminal took apple pay, which it did not. I went out to get my card for her to process and she said “he’s gonna have to finish you up”, when I moved over to have her co-worker help me check in, he was confused and didn’t know where she left off. Poor managing, poor communication. I’ve stayed at many hotels around Lansing and never had an issue like this anywhere else. I will not be returning.
mohammadmonir (2/5): - Worst than you think It was my wedding in lansing Michigan so all of my families came around usa and we booked this hotel to he together but when we check in the hotel was dirty. Appliances were not working. The rooms smells bad and the beds were dirty. The room ac were making noise and in some rooms the ac were leaking water. This time we made a mistake and booked hotel for all families with just looking. At the pictures i am requesting hilton management to please when you charge people that much please give them a good service i had to wast my perfume so the room can smell good. The bathroom floor was sticky and dirty the toilet was making noise after flushing this is not just for my room every room had an issue and we have to call the front desk to come and turn on the microwave fuse for use from fuse box. Don’t book your rooms here before asking someone and reading this review. I stayed there for 4 nights and i had to stay because of other families but what i am saying we paid thousands to have a bad experience and we booked hilton cuz we trusted it but now no never

Dan (8/5): - Overall, it was a good experience, the room was spacious, but the carpet was filthy, so much so, that the bottom of our feet were literally black if barefoot. The staff were wonderful. The water pressure in first room we were in was very low in both the kitchen and bathroom, and the toilet ran constantly. We were switched to a different room, which was much better, although the carpet was still dirty. Again, overall it was fine.

Brenda (3/5): Nothing special, a basic room if you can handle the moldy, chemical smells, old air conditioning units and hallways that - Location The property you can tell is old, the air conditioning units in the windows, make a lot of noise and have odor coming out of them. The room itself was clean, but they use terrible cleaning supplies that stink and are very strong which also made the smell in the room, almost unbearable. They brought in a machine to my room. That did absolutely nothing. This hotel is a basic place to get a night sleep nothing fancy, nothing that would make me want to go back. The amenities are subpar to say the least, and the front desk staff can’t even direct you to local restaurants as they do not have much knowledge of things.

Lindsey (9/5): Decent would stay again - The room was comfortable and already cooled. It was clean and plenty of space The check in took too long. The kid went somewhere while in the middle of checking me in and then was taking multiple phone calls and booking others. Then came back and started with someone else again. I had early check in of 2pm and I waited 25 minutes to be checked in making it 250pm. Just disappointed.

The kids of course enjoyed the pool, and we happened to there Easter weekend and they nad an Easter bunny there to give out baskets to the kids and take pictures with them! It was a great weekend and we will visit again!

Several issues such as, no remote for second tv, only one tissue in tissue box, no ice trays or icemaker, breakfast wasnt much, no trays so you had to keep going back and forth to get a complete breakfast, had all the extras for oatmeal but they were out of oatmeal, person in charge of breakfast was sort of crabby.This hotel used to have great snacks each night, now its only one night. Breakfast used to be great too. Not anymore. Very disappointing stay.

rlegal78 (10/5): Absolutely Perfect - This hotel has been amazing to us. We have been here since April due to a house fire and the staff has been amazing. The food is great with a huge variety. Wednesday appetizer night is great as well, I’ve never been to a hotel that offers that. Housekeeping is great, since we are considered long term guests, I do clean my own room but they are very nice when I go collect things we need or get the vacuum. I do not know their names yet but I’m working on it. They make my dog Beauty feel welcomed and try to make her feel welcome after the fire she is kind of scared of different things. I could write a book of good things about this hotel. Here are some people that really have been wonderful to me and I’d like to give them a shout out: Sean the houseman, super cool guy and he does a lot of different jobs. He always makes sure to talk and ask how we are while working. He puts a smile on your face. He does a great job keeping the area clean. Skeeter the maintenance man, another super cool guy. Always speaking to me when he sees me. Chatting about different things. That makes guests feel welcome and makes my day. Jessie May guest service, super super nice lady. Always smiling and greets me when I enter or exit no matter what. Angie, another lady with longer curly hair that I forgot her name and Brooke are all super nice and again very helpful. Always taking time out to speak. Cathy one of the managers, absolutely love her. Always chit chat with her and she really focuses on Beauty which I truly believe is helping her overcome her fear. Can’t say enough about this lady. Cole guest service, can’t say enough about him. Absolutely love him from day one. He was the first person I met and ALWAYS has went out of his way to talk to me, greet me no matter what and see if I need anything. Over all the service here is OUTSTANDING and I recommend this place 100 percent. I could go on and on but running out of room.

Jerry (4/5): - I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned. The ice bucket was on the floor by the toilet. There was a used bar of soap and rage on the sink. There were old access keys left in the room. There were empty plastic wrappers on the sink in the kitchen and the bed was not properly made with all the pillows on one bed. You have asphalt issues in your parking lot that takes away from the decor has you approach the front entrance of the bldg. The staff did not even seem concerned about the room issue. I will not be staying again. I'm sure I can get my 150-180 dollars a night to go a lot further at another chain.
Navigate13348209068 (10/5): Very clean, location was amazing, and Staff are some of the best I’ve encountered - My wife and I stayed here for a few days due to work being in the area. Hotel was very clean and it smelled like fresh laundry everywhere. There was a guy Shane? Or Shawn. He said he was the “houseman” who was extremely helpful. He helped us with info on things to do in the area as he was mopping the floor near the elevators upstairs. The guy even got us extra towels without us asking when he seen my wife and I in the pool area the next day. Very friendly and kind of funny as he joked about my Green Bay packers hat I was wearing . The lady I believe she was a manager. Long dark hair was very pleasant with us as well. I would recommend this hotel if you want a clean place , located in a great area, and very friendly staff.
Morgan (4/5): - I'm a simple person that really was just looking for somewhere to sleep & recharge after my day. The parking for this location is awkward & limited. There was never a member of staff at the front desk when I needed to ask a question. I had to move rooms twice; my first room had no electric in half the room while my second room ended up with no working microwave, the fridge was off when I got tere (which I did not know at the time, so an entire dinner was ruined because I put my leftovers into the fridge), and there was a leak in the bathroom. My third room was fine; i had no silverware in the kitchenette, the fan/vent in the shower area didn't work, a light at the vanity flickered terribly, & there was no silverware in the kitchenette (again). There was weird damage in the rooms (the wallpaper near the toilet was brown & discolored) and the showers were (oddly) devoid of any useful ledges or shelves upon which to place my 3 cleaning items (shampoo, body soap, & body lotion). The cleaning staff did a poor job cleaning the room; essentially, they messed with the bedding, took towels & only replaced half of them, left every single light on in the room, & took the trash (including trash bags but never replaced those). I had to ask for additional towels and additional trash bags to place into my trash cans. Honestly, the worst part about the room changes is that not one member of staff seemed to care that I had to move everything to another room nor did they offer recompense.

Marie (2/5): - First, they downgraded my room and wouldn't give me any money back for the downgrade, then there was a bloody towel in the bottom drawer of the dresser when we were there and then our box spring was completely broken and fell in. When I tried to sit on it. Then our toilet decided to stop flushing. Also all behind the toilet. The wall was completely discolored like there'd been some kind of accident or something. There were water bottles behind the bed. It was absolutely disgusting and I was offered nothing for compensation for it and all the rooms were booked so we couldn't switch. It was god-awful.
caseydf2025 (2/5): Don't Go Here - After we checked out on Sunday, I sent an email to customer service and still have not heard back from anyone. I've been a Hiltons Rewards member for 13 years, I've even stayed in this hotel several times in the past. I'm not sure if management has changed or what the issue is but our one night stay was very disappointing. First off when we walked into our room We could see that the couch had major rips all over it the foam inside was exposed, not wanting to complain, we asked for extra sheets to cover it up since we were only staying one night. On top of that It looked like our room had only been cleaned, There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher from the previous guest Housekeeping did not run the dishwasher, and even more gross or the used washcloths still in the bathtub. Thankfully, the beds were clean and made. In the morning, we went down for breakfast more than an hour before they closed. About half of my family got through the buffet, only to find out they had no more utensils. I asked the lady in the kitchen and she said there was no more because people had taken them up to their rooms so I went over to the front desk to ask if they had any plastic silverware. The guy at the front desk went to the kitchen to help and never came back in the 20 minutes that we were there waiting. Mind you both Sam's Club, and Walmart are in walking distance they could've ran over to grab a box of plastic cutlery. The other guests were getting frustrated at this point because not only Was there no cutlery but they also weren't bringing out more food so all that was left out was cold potatoes, And shredded chicken... unless you wanted to wait 20 minutes to use the one waffle maker they have. My expectations of a quality free breakfast are low But my expectations of service from Hilton hotels has always been high until this experience. I was really hoping that somebody would reach out to me i've even emailed them, but once again, the service is lacking here. Photos are the ripped up couch, the dirty dishes from the last guest and showing how close the Walmart was to be able to have someone run over and grab utensils.

TaurusSun (4/5): Disappointing for a Homewood Suites - While the outside of the hotel looked great, the interior was a different story. Exposed wires in the elevator, dirty dishes that were stacked at our room door upon check in were not removed until during the night. Our room ended up being handicapped accessible. It looked like the tv had been mounted to the wall put pulled off so only holes were left, the bathroom had yellowed and peeling wallpaper and a used water bottle was awaiting us on the counter. The finale was the power blinds being broken (no way to open manually), so we couldn’t let natural light in. Friendly staff at the breakfast area, with a tasty breakfast at that! Was a bit embarrassed by the shape of the facility as I was excited to introduce my partner to the Homewood line.

Thomas (10/5): - Only compliant is the laundry room door gets locked by a third party at 10pm and doesn't open until 7am and not even the staff can get in there. So if you put a load in at 945pm, don't plan on putting it in the dryer until the following morning. Solution; Rearrange the layout if noise is the concern and dont pay someone else to lock a door.

Craig (4/5): First time in Michigan blues - Got in on Sunday evening get to my room it's freezing in there. The thermostat and heater would not work together so pretty much has to keep it like 75 in the to keep it comfy but to comfy. Toilet paper holder was broken. Wifi didn't work well. And beds were not comfy at all.

Alexandra (8/5): - Well...I wish I could give an adequate review, but unfortunately the night we checked in, two out of three of us got hit with the stomach virus and stayed in the room the entire time. We missed out on the free breakfast, work out room, and weren't able to fully enjoy the swimming pool. Needless to say, the bed was comfortable and we were supplied plenty of towels, bed sheets and cleaning supplies to make our "sick" stay as comfortable as possible. Wish we could be given a "do-over" to enjoy all this hotel has to offer!
Kay (10/5): - The room was so roomy! It had a full size refrigerator, and small kitchenette. An office area, a living area and a king size bed. The best shower I've ever had.

The phone was not connected...so no phone....the second room had a dishwasher full of DIRTY dishes and the shower did not provide sufficient water flow for a satisfactory shower for a small person, let alone a larger man. I have stayed there many times, but the quality of the stay is depreciating..,
DutchLace (8/5): Comfortable Room - Front desk staff and housekeeping were great, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast area was better than average. Did have to let staff know coffee was empty. Room was comfortable. Bed slept great. Shower head had nice pressure and was taller to accommodate my height without having to duck. Nice conference room with restrooms across hall. Workout room was very nice. Indoor pool looked nice. Thanks for a nice stay.

Explorer799537 (2/5): Local manager aware of issues..unfortunately we weren’t - Unfortunately, this property is in significant disrepair. We were moved to 3 different rooms before we had accommodations that were marginally acceptable for our one week stay. First suite, facing lighted parking lot and multiple city lights, had no room darkening blind in the bedroom. The second suite had no electricity in the bedroom…no outlets, lamps, etc. In addition, the stile was missing on the entry door making entry and exit difficult. The 3rd room had obviously not been used in some time as every surface was covered with dust. When the heat was turned on, the smell of burning dust lasted over an hour. Had we not been exhausted, ( and Homecoming weekend at MSU) we would have looked for a different hotel.

OP-Critic (2/5): Don’t bother pre-checking in - I checked in the day before as I am traveling for business & I prefer a first floor room if I can get it. It was available, so I was super happy until I arrived. I like a key card because my cell phone is unreliable so when he handed the key card & it had a 4th floor room, I said no, I checked in already & it’s room 106. He said oh, there isn’t a room attached to your reservation so my theory is that my room was given away. He said there’s only the 4th or 6th floor is available I said 4th is fine as long as it’s close to the elevator which he said it was. Well, it’s not so when I got in the room, I called down & he then told me it was the last room available. Weird since he just said there was a room on the 6th floor too. I wasn’t happy, but then asked if I could at least get my water for being a diamond member. He did bring it up for me. I thought this hotel was newer but it is already worn & tired with chunks missing out of the furniture. This is not the place to stay. Not very welcoming & not what I expect from a Hilton property.

Room is set for 6 but needed to ask for towels and sheets as we booked 5 and was only set for 2. Breakfast menu and quality of food was one star.
