The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The staff are truly the highlight - always warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is green, peaceful, and quiet, creating the perfect place to relax and unwind. The lodge also offers a wide range of amenities that make your stay even more enjoyable, whether you’re looking to rest, explore, or simply take in the surroundings. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

• Eline (10/5): Amazing place in Moshi - In the past 6 weeks I have stayed almost every weekend at the Ameg Lodge and the experiece has been absolutely perfect. A couple of weeks ago I booked a stay at another accommodation, because Ameg Lodge was already fully booked. I immediately regretted it! The facilities at Ameg are perfect: a clean gym where they have everything you need for a good workout; a beautiful, clean pool with nice sunbeds where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings; a restaurant with amazing food and good prices; staff that is professional and friendly, but at the same time discrete and beautiful rooms providing everything that you need for a good rest (nice bed with mosquitonet, airco and clean bathroom with hot shower and fresh towels daily). The staff is also available at every moment to help you and answer any questions. They also make it possible to leave your luggage at the reception after checkout. I asked if it was okay to stay at the pool and have some food at the restaurant the day that I checked out (after 10am) and that was completely fine. The last 3 stays they even gave me an upgrade to the junior suite, because they wanted to show their appreciation for me coming back at their place :). Would absolutely recommend Ameg Lodge when staying in Moshi.
• Audrey (10/5): Excellent end to a memorable stay in Tanzania. - My daughter stayed here before travelling home after volunteering at a hospital nearby as a nurse and as she was travelling alone I was a bit worried, however the staff were very welcoming and helpful before she arrived which reassured me. The food was excellent and she enjoyed the tranquility of the pool area.

• Madelon (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf na een safari! - Ruim opgezet, mooie kamers, goed eten, fijn zwembad, aardige mensen. Het is echt een heerlijk hotel, een oase van rust. Ik zou dit hotel zeker aanraden en zelf ook weer boeken. Alles was goed. Als ik 1 ding mag noemen dan de douchekop, die was iets gedateerd en vast gemonteerd aan de wand. Maar dat is slechts 1 puntje want er was voldoende warm water.
• Malene (10/5): We cant wait to be back :-) - I have stayed to weeks at Ameg lodge, and after spending time at 5 different hotels/lodges in, and around Moshi the past 5 years. This is now my new favourite spot. The sourroundings are beautiful and It is peaceful and quiet. It is a littlebit outside of town, but you can find resturants/cafe’s within walking distance. It is also just a short trip by Bajaji to town (7 min and aprox. 2$). Due to my long stay we have tried almost everything on their menu for lunch/dinner, and not once have we been dissapointed! The food is delicious. The rooms are very nice, and always clean. The pool area has comfortable beds, the pool has good temperature and you get fresh towles everyday. The gym has everything you need for a good workout. The staff also needs to be mentioned. Everyone - from the guys at the gate, the cleaners, the gardeners, the ladies in the reseption area, and the waiters are all so nice and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. I was here with a friend, but I have also seen people with kids, and think this is a good spot to bring my own kids one day. We will definitely come back next year. There is nothing we are dissatisfied with.

En ce qui concerne la literie, aucun hygiène, pas de protection sur les matelas et les draps tellement fin par l usure qu on a peur de les déchirer ! Franchement ça fait pitier l entretien des chambres pour le prix !! On nous prend vraiment pour des pigeons !! Le pire endroit que nous ayons eu !! Les photos ne reflètent pas du tout la réalité. Phenomenal staff who are friendly, discreet, check in with you but manage to do it without encroaching in your space. It’s not a dislike per se but I would have appreciated a small refrigerator.

• Julie (9/5): Beautiful settings with amazing personal. - The personal on site is amazing! The breakfast is versatile snd good. The surroundings are beautiful. It’s always a pleasure staying at Ameg. Unfortunately the police academy, next door, had a few drills the week I was there and created some noise. I don’t remember it being like this all the time though, as I haven’t heard it before like this.

Die Zimmer und Badezimmer hätten saubererer sein sollen. Die Damen an der Rezeption und im Restaurant waren etwas unfreundlich oder genervt. Die Stimmung war nicht so schön.

Queen did a fantastic job at dinner and lunch for me and I really enjoyed speaking with her. Thanks for a great stay !
• Sonja (9/5): - cozy vibe at breakfast some of the food was empty in the serving trays, even though the breakfast was open still for several hours. So we needed to wait to get more fruit eggs etc.

• Peter (10/5): Eine aussergewöhnlich schöner Aufenthalt, rundum stimmig. - Bestens ausgestatte Zimmer, richtig schmackhaftes Essen und ausserordentlich freundliches, aufgestelltes und hilfsbereites Personal. War einfach toll Habe nichts zu beanstanden. Bin sehr zufrieden,. Alles bestens , auch verglichen mit anderen Hotels in Moshi. Lohnt sich sehr. "Nichts zu meckern"

• Daniel (10/5): - Great hotel with wonderful staff. On-site gym was a huge bonus. Restaurant had a good variety of items and all were very tasty with good portions. Swimming pool was very nice and the room itself was modern with plenty of outlets, air conditioning and decent WiFi.

• Laura (10/5): Un espacio de paz y bienestar - Qué maravilla de sitio! Ameg es un espacio de paz, un pequeño paraíso en el que descansar, relajarse y cuidarse después del Kilimanjaro o del Safari, o simplemente porque sí. Las instalaciones son estupendas, súper bien cuidadas, el gimnasio es muy completo, los jardines están ideales, se respira bienestar. El personal hace todo lo posible para que tu estancia sea impecable. Ha sido un gran acierto, volvería sin duda! Estuve encantada con mi estancia, nada que objetar

• Orit Kapon (8/5): Nice lodge, small rooms - The lodge is very nice - the garden, pool and restaurant are very inviting and the atmosphere is relaxing. The rooms are relatively small. The shower water pressure is much too low.
• ariel (8/5): - The facilities were great, also the restaurant good food and fair prices The staff was a bit though, we lost the room key and they demanded 5$ to let our car leave the priperty, only after they called their boss they let us go without paying for the key

• Mirlene (10/5): - The property is well maintained. Staff both at the office and restaurant were outstanding. I enjoyed my 20 days there at Ameg. Will certainly go back.
• Pooja (8/5): Overall a decent space if one doesn’t mind small bathroom size & geckos.. location is heavenly - I loved the garden landscape .. tranquillity. The staff was very accommodating of our preferences . They upgraded us to junior suite. All the amenities were fully functional . Bathroom size & layout .. shower space is so small that only a child could shower comfortably & toilet is in the corner making it more claustrophobic. I personally have a phobia for geckos & there geckos outside the cottage walls which is very scary for me.

• Sofie (10/5): - Personalet er top professionel og meget varme og altid med smil. Værelset og faciliteter og køkkenet og bare virkelig godt. Hotellet ligger et godt og trygt sted hvor jeg fint om dagen kunne gå ture alene uden problemer. Jeg kommer helt sikkert tilbage.

• Domenico (8/5): - Die gesamte Außen-Anlage war gepflegt und der Pool war sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stets bemüht, uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Die Lodge liegt etwas außerhalb von Moshi-Stadt, was auch definitiv zu empfehlen ist. Mit den sogenannten Bajaji kommt man für wenig Geld (fast) überall in der Umgebung hin. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Abzug gibt für die den Zustand der Lodges. Die Möbel und die (Bett)-Wäsche sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Hier müsste einiges erneuert werden. Auch ließen sich die alten Fenster nicht komplett schließen. Der Safe funktionierte ebenfalls nicht. Dennoch fühlten wir uns dort sehr sicher, was unter anderem an dem 24/7 besetzten Wachposten lag. Insgesamt hat es uns dort gut gefallen, und der Preis war in Ordnung.
