- Rebecca (8/5): - Great place to stay at for its unique character and all its charm. Right down to a tree growing through what feels like a tree house accommodation. The gentleman that checked us in at the desk was super friendly and very accommodating. He showed us where everything is and tips for anything we may need or use. No fridge in the bedroom but communal fridges with ample room to store your food/ drinks in a bag downstairs. The room was everything we needed and the bed was comfy. Only bummer was staying on a Saturday night and us leaving 5am the next morning. Could hear people up and about till after midnight laughing / talking etc. Wasnt unbearable or a deal breaker next time but could be if you are a light sleeper. Maybe earplugs if you need. Bring a waterproof bag that could hold belongings on the back of the bathroom door as there is no shelf and the whole cubical gets wet while you shower. Other than that was a great stay! Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the free breaky and the bar facility. First travellers lodge experience and as a whole what a great place to stay!!
- Wendy (10/5): Stay before joining Intrepid tour to the Bungles - The Lodge was a great place to meet fellow travellers of all ages and nationalities. Staff friendly and very helpful. Laundry facilities most welcome at this stage of my trip.
- Jeremy (4/5): - Seems to be used as long term accommodation for a lot of working backpackers, so much expect clutter in the dorm rooms such that you can barely get to your bunk. Bathrooms aren't cleaned daily, mold in sinks and shower persistent for 3 day stay.

- Andrew (10/5): Nothing wrong with this place. - All our needs satisfied for an interim stay st great rate. Booking process, confirmation and updates excellent. We never usually stay in a YHA style, but overall attractive c/w bar, light brekky, pool and nice adventurous fellow guests. Location was great and an easy walk from airport.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent hostel, BUT… - The price was right, but definitely a bit more rowdy than other YHA hostels in Australia. Not a family friendly atmosphere, with heavy drinking & substance abuse by most of the young clientele (many smokd up right in the common area). The hostel staff are amazing, though. There’s a bit of a problem with long term residents here, so my room was piled with someone’s boxes and personal effects - barely an inch to walk. Would I stay again? Probably only in a private room. This was by far the rowdiest hostel I stayed at in Australia, so just know what you’re getting into. Despite the young and immature crowd, the facilities were generally well appointed, with a spacious common kitchen, a daytime hours pool, and an excellent location just a stone’s throw from Broome airport and the bus stop to Cable Beach. So, don’t be deterred, but just keep in mind who you’ll be staying with
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointing, unless you’re 21 - Party hostel - VERY young clientele. Not your typical YHA experience & they should probably just drop the brand. Heavy substance use among guests (even in the common areas) and plenty of off-colour, profanity-laden conversations. When I saw the check in girl chugging from a bottle of the hard stuff while on the job, I learned everything I needed to know about this place. Everything is a joke to them. But at least it’s cheap, if not family friendly.

Positives- comfy bed, fresh linen..

The staff were friendly and helpful, and guests that were there at the time were a happy bunch. It was clean and welcoming. Good budget cafes and restaurants were a short walk away

- WILLIAM (10/5): Outstandingly Awesome - This little gem of a place allows a weary traveller the "spice of life" to be experienced with its fantastic vibe, great aircon + very comfortable bedding in each room,excellently clean toilets+showers, a really large range of drinks (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) at the internal bar, and a large kitchen to prepare your culinary delights. To make it even better, all the staff are outstandingly pleasant and exceptionally helpful.
- Tony (8/5): A budget stay with everything you need - I enjoyed a pleasant overnight stay in between other arrangements. All staff were helpful and friendly. I had a private room which was basic but clean and functional. Nice sheets. Bathroom round the corner. Parked my car off the street. Had a swim in the rock-pool. Happy hour @ the bar ~5 p.m. & a help yourself breakfast in the morning.
