• Jane (9/5): Would stay again! Great place! - Clean, comfy, friendly and convenient. Great shower. Very nice woman at check-in. Hot breakfast was good too. :-) No airport shuttle after 10 pm but we had rental car so it was ok.

• Kristen (9/5): For what we needed and in the area we needed to be, this was perfect. The food options were awesome! - It was like being in your own little town. We didn’t realize it was a “truck stop” so that was kinda different but all the amenities were great! That it was a truck stop. Usually I’d be fine letting my kids go “tour” the hotel with their friends but I didn’t feel comfortable with that here.

THEY PICK WHO THEY WANT TO TREAT WELL AND WHO THEY WANT TO PROFILE AND TREAT LIKE SHIT!! - There was laundry onsite My wife and I were harassed BY Security from the moment we pulled into the parking lot. Then a couple days into our trip we wanted our bedding changed and the room vacuumed. So little secret, we told them that soda spilled on our comforter so that they would replace it with a freshly cleaned one. Anyways, all seemed well until we were told by front desk and lil miss in charge of housekeeping said that the comforter was so bad that it soaked through to the mattress! So right there, Lie! We never spilled anything and there are spilled proof liners on all the mattresses. I couldn't believe it, then we kept getting arranged by security everytime we went to the car for something!

They do have a newer section that was full. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They do have an airport shuttle service. Rooms were clean and showers good. A great value for the traveler

• Lisa (7/5): This is a truck stop! - This is a unique place, you'll never find another truck stop / museum / full service mall with a hotel. Really sound proof room. Staff and people were really friendly. The bed was not very comfortable. Couldn't open the window at all for fresh air (4th floor). You'll be eating your breakfast in a honkey tonk bar! It was a little unusual, I would think families with kids might not like that. I didn't mind too much.

The only negative was I had a family in the room above me for two of my three nite stay and the noice was awful. I’m a single older woman and when you book people in to rooms you should take in to consideration the guests that are in the room below.

After sitting in meetings all day I was glad not to have to leave the property for anything. Hot water is slow. I had to run the sink faucet full blast while taking a shower just to get hot water. I'm assuming it is a tankless system.
• RobinRedbirdFL (10/5): Wonderful Stay - I highly recommend this hotel. We chose it based on the good reviews and the fact that it was close to our daughter's house in Portsmouth and also to the airport. All of the employees were very nice, especially Maryland in the Cascade Inn. The rooms come with a voucher for a good breakfast in the restaurant, or you can take $8 off other items on the breakfast menu. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is some noise from the gas station, but we sleep with white noise, so it didn't bother us. Some of the rooms in the hotel are pet friendly.
• uncleakamai (8/5): Comfortable stay with super convenient amenities - Check-in was quick, parking was easy, and everything — lobby, halls, and room — was very clean. The room was a good size with a nice walk-in shower. TV quality wasn’t amazing but fine, and the HVAC worked well. Each floor had vending and ice, which was convenient. The included breakfast voucher for the Cascade Grill was great — the included items were good, and you could order anything from the full menu with an $8 discount. The 24-hour Jubitz Market and the on-site laundromat near the lobby elevator made it easy to grab supplies or do laundry without leaving the property. The only minor downside is that the rooms face the gas station, so you’ll hear some noise. Otherwise, the location is excellent: 5 minutes to shopping areas and about 10–15 minutes to downtown Portland. I’d definitely stay here again.

• Lisa Cambray (10/5): My favorite hotel by far! 10/10! I'll always choose The Portlander Inn for my "Staycations"! 🥰 - I love everything about Portlander Inn! Whenever I plan a "staycation" for myself, I always come here! Staff is always helpful and friendly, Beds are comfortable (Lots of pillows too!), Rooms are clean, Plus they have so many things to do here, I rarely need to leave! I've tried the food at Moe's deli, Cascade grill, and cocktail drinks at Ponderosa and they were all good! They also have a breakfast voucher you can either take to their 24 hr. market for a "To-go" type breakfast or take it to Cascade grill and you can pick a breakfast option that's listed on the voucher until 10am. They have a movie theater with showtimes at 12pm, 3pm, & 7pm. Oh and there is poker machines at both Moe's deli and Ponderosa. Need your clothes washed? They have laundry services too! Lol There's a few other things to do here, but I can't remember exactly what. I don't have any complaints.. well except the single elevator available is slow (is that even a complaint?) Lol

Front desk was very kind and welcoming, loved the hotel itself had great amenities will definitely stay in this hotel again. Location was sketchy lol but not too far to get to highway

• Nichole (7/5): Good enough for what we needed! - This place is much more than a hotel. With a deli, 2 restaurants (one a bar), a market and a theater there is much more to entertain yourself here. I had a concert to attend, but my husband had stayed at the hotel and was entertained for sure. Also if you need any snacks, food or even some medicine you just pop downstairs. They also have lot security, so that made me feel better about the location. The room is pretty average in size along with the bathroom. There is a TV as well. The location is unfortunately going downhill (Portland in general) over the last 5 years or so. They do have security, so that gave me piece of mind. The beds were a little on the stiff side, but they can make a bed that pleases everyone! The showerhead could use some improvement, and I wish there was a handheld attachment. There is breakfast included, and you get to pick from a list from the restaurant. The selection is limited and narrowed down for each plate (not rounded). You can pick from the main menu and get a discount though.
• BeachBrenda (10/5): Clean, quiet, comfy stay for a decent price. - I was leary of the location, given what I've seen in the surrounding area. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. All amenities were right there in the same building. The breakfast was great! The room was very spacious; the bed was comfortable; the whole place was clean. It felt safe to travel as a single woman. My room was right next to my co-worker, which was very convenient. The shower pressure was just okay & the shower head was aimed a little too much to toward the wall (room 418) so I had to hug the wall to get my body under the stream. The water took a bit to warm up, too. For some reason my phone did not get good reception in the hotel (but it's an Android, so who knows what was going on there). The remote stopped working & I couldn't figure it out.

• Timika (7/5): This is truly a 1 of a kind location. - Overall, we enjoyed our stay. With all the various options at this property, 2 Restaurants, a Deli, Connivence Store, barbershop, postoffice, laundromat, place to renew a license or TSA pre-check, a movie theater & fuel station all on the premises, there was no need to truly leave the property if you didn’t want to. The free breakfast while seemingly limited in options, it honestly wasn’t. The portion sizes are HUGE. Plus if you wanted more than the free selection, you could redeem your food voucher for $8 off the regular menu. The room was clean & the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly & accommodating. The property was a trucker stop, but with plenty of parking, which is patrolled by security. Despite that & being close to the airport, this location was very quiet. The room we were placed in didn’t have a table/desk, desk chair nor sofa. No note pad nor pen to wrote with, nor a booklet/pamphlet on information about nearby attraction. The room had a TV, Remote, station listing, bed, jacuzzi tub in the primary space, microwave fridge, coffeemaker, bathroom Essentials, and 1 chair. Not enough seating for 2 people & having to eat on the bed wasn’t ideal at all.
• R1501CKmaryy (10/5): Best place we have stayed in Portland. - This is an excellent place for to stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean. They give you a voucher for breakfast - either in the restaurant or in the convenience store. They even have a cinema, a laundry, and gas station. They have a deli that makes sandwiches and pizza and a full service restaurant! Wonderful place to stay!
