• David (4/5): Frustrating and poor communication makes it bad - Lets start with the good: Nice place, clean, large, good kitchen, nice couch, private and quiet. Small balcony but overlooked the water and old town. Location was not bad - not walking distance to anything but not far from bus line and had a washer and dryer. The bad - EVERYTHING else Even though I “paid” on Hotels.com I apparently did not and they had me pay through their portal separately - and it was so poorly communicated and last minute they ended up cancelling my reservation and I had to rebook. I “prearranged parking” but that all went away when it cancelled so had no place to park. Communication was VERY bad - key pickup on a street with no parking, crude written directions to the actual apartment not near there - that were wrong, poorly written, and no clear way to get luggage to the apartment (not even temporary parking - entrance on a busy street no garage). Took a day to get parking arranged and same issue - VERY poor directions, had to message them 5 times to get the parking, and it was 5 buildings away from the apartment. Bed was hard, only two pillows (had to buy our own) - NO amenities (soap, shampoo etc). And shower could not be contained in the shower - leaked all over the entire bathroom for every shower. It was a good deal but definitely not worth all the frustration and difficulty. In particular having to carry luggage up three flights of stairs in the rain was bad. I would definitely not book this again.

We had to keep it on the floor and I think thats not convenient. Also there was no instructions to use the washing machine. It didnt work, so why keep that machine there.

Also include the hours of parking. We had no idea the garage closed. A parking pass would be beneficial. I would pay a little extra knowing i had acess to parking. The unit itself is nice. Clean and comfortable for a short stay.
• Craig (6/5): - The key pick up was a complete mess. Should have had an email on the day with key and apartment location. There was no email and no response to telephone call. Eventually we got in touch with group management, and they managed to guide us over telephone to key location. There was still no details on property location and we eventually found it by asking locals. There should have been directions or a map. When booking we asked about parking and noted we had a person with some disability that required close parking, they assured us there was good parking. In fact the parking garage was 5 floors below the apartment with steep steps up 4 of the floors and only a lift for the last.

Only 2 things needed, one important and the other far less important: a more detailed map of the streets to get to the apartment building! and a page in the house manual to give instructions on how to use the tv and remotes.
• Tessa (10/5): Good view - Nice apartment but quite far from the tram/bus stop. Good view of the water and the mountain. Quite area but have supermarket nearby. Apartment was quite big, with 2 bedroom and a lot of space for storage etc. definitely recommend this hotel

Var parkeringsgarasje i samme bygg som leiligheten noe som ville vært mer beleilig. Leiligheten luktet røyk(?). Ellers helt ok for kortere og lengre opphold.
• Gry (10/5): Førstevalg når Bergen skal besøkes - Super beliggenhet og fasiliteter for en venninnetur til Bergen. Nydelige senger p ligge i, godt utstyrt kjøkken og god plass med spisebord og sofagruppe…for ikke p snakke om innglasset veranda med utsikt over Damsgårdssundet. Har benyttet dette tilbudet tidligere også…og ny tur skal bookes snart😃👍

• Geoffrey (10/5): Fabulous Value Apartment in Bergen - This is easily the best value accommodation in Bergen and the best value I have found in decades of travel. It's a small two bedroom, one bath apartment with balcony for way less than a minimal hotel. The location is excellent, 25 minute walk to the centre of the city and excellent bus service, too. Line up BLYSS.NO app and you have bus and tram done. Come in October for BIFF 2025 (Bergen International Film Festival). I was here by accident but was able to get to a screening. I have done a lot of travelling in the past 40 years and this is the first place I could move to and live in for a while.
• Douglas (6/5): - Staff were in informed numerous times that the stove would go into an alarm mode requiring us to trip the breaker to reset. Even maintenance can, the issue was not let resolved. The dishwasher didn’t work, but we never reported it since they couldn’t get the stove to work. Instructions were not left as to where garbage was to go. Again, had to email for instructions. In general, great location but the staff need to prepare instructions to be left in the unit
• Verified traveler (2/5): - They changed the address and sent a confusing email about it, if you don't check your email you will be likely to run around the city looking for your apartment like us. Beds are uncomfortable, no headboards. We were sent an email that basically asked us to clean the apartment before leaving which wasted an entire day of our trip to do that. I highly recommend staying anywhere else.

Reservé un departamentl por 3 noches y la reserva tenía vista a la Marina…decía pago al llegar…nada de esto respeto el establecimiento, me dieron otro depa, la regadera se salía toda el agua, querían que dejara todo como me lo dieron como si fuera airbnb, batallé bastante para saber cómo llegar ya que me cambiaron el depa, para abrir fue un show ya que no contestaban correos, pude localizarlos hasta el otro día gracias a hoteles.com y no quisieron respetarme nada, y para terminar querían que lavara las toallas loza y todo (sin tener con que en el departamento)

Alleen jammer dat de parking blijkbaar zeer klein is en we pas de avond voor onze aankomst een bericht kregen dat de parkeerplaats, waarom ik had gevraagd bij reservatie, niet beschikbaar was. je moet dan ergens in de buurt een parkeergarage zoeken.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Will never again take a corporate apartment. Poor directions on finding apartment within complex, No front desk to ask. Poor layout…..2 doors to bedroom, each going to one side only of the bed. Neither washer nor stove working. No dryer. Gave up after two days. They agreed to refund rest of stay fairly readily.
• Andrei (2/5): - This place is a scam! The unit, once in, is just ok but the posting is deceiving using area landmarks as ‘external’ photos of the premises. False advertising all day long. The actual building is modest, without any views and basic facilities. Not worth the money and have been misled in booking it as advertised, otherwise would never stay there. The booking is cumbersome and requires time to process payment, extras and so on and the check out, rather misterios. The unit is ok and if properly advertised, would price as such and avoid any misleading but for this time would definitely recommend against and also I would want Expedia to verify these properties better before offering them to us.

No one returned our calls or messages in a timely manner. The apartment was dirty on arrival. The TV box did not work. There are much better options

• Brian (10/5): - A little confusing on the directions but clean apartment in an ok area. Apartment needs to figure out better directions. Address on location finder brings you a distance way and key box located “next to gym” is not helpful when there are multiple gyms around. I met another family wandering around the area confused I had to help locate Bjørvika. They need to figure this out but the apartment was clean and a good stay for the price.

• Donald (10/5): - Apartement looked brand new. Beautifully located. Excellent vue on the fjord. Walking distance to the bus station and trains station. Arrived at 2 AM, Took a taxi from the airport that drop me off in front of the KeyBox. Just by following the message that was sent prevuously by Bjovika, it was easy to get the appartment's key, and a walking distance to the apartment. Highly recommend Expedia and Bjorvika for the no-hastle reservations. Communication with Bjorvika is excellent (by phone, e-mail or SMS)
• Bjørn Øystein (8/5): Fint opphold, dårlig seng - Fint opphold. Eneste minus var at dobbeltsenga var 2 delt og det ble en glippe mellom sengene som jeg havnet i og gjorde at jeg våknet med vondt i ryggen. Hadde vært fint om sengene var bindt sammen.

• Johannes (10/5): - Een geweldig appartement op een rustige plek op loopafstand van supermarkten en koffietentjes in een met moderne appartementen gerenoveerd deel van het havengebied. Op loopafstand van tram- en bushaltes. Het appartement herft alle voorzieningen die je je kunt wensen en is ruim en licht. Je kunt buiten zitten op je eigen terrasje. Zeer aan te bevelen, ook voor een wat langer verblijf.
• Yvonne (6/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt nahe des Hafens in Mohlenpris. Es ist eine wunderbare Gegend. In die Stadt braucht man zu Fuß 25 Minuten, Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war nicht sauber bei unserer Ankunft. Die Dusche ist nicht richtig abgeflossen, das Klo war nicht wirklich sauber und der Boden auch nicht. Topflappen in der Küche sind erforderlich und es wäre schön, wenn eine Küchenrolle vorrätig wäre. Ansonsten war die Ausstattung der Wohnung völlig in Ordnung.

Var litt vanskelig å finne ut hvilke bygg leiligheten var i da jeg kom. Enkelt å hente nøkkel i nøkkelboks. God kommunikasjon med utleiefirmaet. Det var en lyspære som hadde gått og fikk vaktmester til å fikse det allerede neste dag. Sleit litt med induksjonsplata og firmaet ringte meg med en gang og forklarte. Veldig bra service. Alt man trengte av kjøkkenutstyr. Utrolig god seng, sov kjempegodt. Koslig balkong med utsikt. Alt i alt et supert opphold.

• Ellen (8/5): - This apartment is a very basic comfortable space. The furniture is limited as are the kitchen utensils and dishware. The rental company will provide shampoo and one small bar of soap. No lotion, no conditioner. No spices or salt and pepper or cooking spray or olive oil. There is a clothes washer, but no dryer. But it is a clean space and walkable to transit. The immediate area is also very basic, but comfortable. Yes- there is graffiti, but also a neighborhood market. Yes- people may be picking through the trash, but there isn’t any trash on the street. So, it’s not high end, but it is very approachable. And it is nice to have two bedrooms when most hotels would cram you into too small beds in one small room. Plus, it is typically quiet at night and that is lovely.

• Dominique (4/5): - Die Wohnung war insgesamt in keinem guten Zustand. Der Boden war klebrig und staubig. Durch die Fenster konnte man vor lauter Dreck kaum durchschauen. War aber nicht so schlimm, zu sehen gab es eh nix. Wohnung war ebenerdig, dementsprechend der Blick auf andere Häuser. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend und nicht annähernd so, wie es die Bilder suggerieren. Die Bewertung betrifft das Apartment in der Damsgardveien 42.
• Martin (8/5): - This was a good place to stay. Within walking distance of so much to do and eat. Nice mini mart close by too. Was hot at night so kept the windows open and then noisy. But overall very good. Clean!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Veldig fin leilighet, rent og pent. Sentral og fin beliggenhet. Kort vei til bussen. Gode senger. Litt mangelfullt i kjøkkenskuffen; savnet slikkepott, stekespade, grytekluter og vannmugge. Ellers veldig bra :)
• Bror (8/5): Bjørvika Apartments - Vi bodde i Michael Krohns gt 63. Leiligheten var flott med utsikt over sjøen og en lekepark. Lett tilgjengelig offentlige kommunikasjonsmidler. Renholdet var ok, men sofaen kunne vært støvsuget, da det var hår og rusk mellom og oppå putene. Avluftingsventilen i stua var ikke rengjort. Helt svart rund den og opp mot taket. Fin leilighet og rolig strøk. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit!😁👍

• Arne J. (8/5): Flott leilighet - Meget bra leilighet, men dårlig info om hvilken leilighet vi skulle til. Leiligheten var kun angitt med Bjørvikas referanse, og ikke leilighetsnummer i bygget.
• Mourad (4/5): - the apartment is too small for 3 persons extra bed provided was terrible not water view as per picture over 5000 korona for cleaning and they never show up once in 10 days and ask us to leave it as clean as we found it
• Claudine (10/5): - Etat de propreté irréprochable ! Malgré qu'il n'y ait pas de reception, ils sont très facilement joignables et répondent efficacement et rapidement ! Nous voyageons beaucouop... et pour nous c'est le logement le plus sur propre et convivial que nous ayons eu depuis des années. En deux mots: PARFAIT et MERCI! Nous reviendrons !
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The place was extremely difficult to find and the instruction was confusing. The manager was somewhere else in Norway and she did know what she was talk about. We had two local to talked to her and still could not find the place in about one hour. Plus I did not get a parking place even for one night inspite being told that parking is available.
• Chris (4/5): - The apartment was not where it was advertised to be. It was not on the water or even near the water but was in a non-descript area and the view was of other buildings.
• Mark (8/5): Average despite good location - So the apartment is very spacious but it was not facing the water like all the photos show. The apartment is a bit dated and the sofa too small for two people to sit at conformably. There was one cereal bowl for two people. The bed was too bouncy and when one person moved so did the other. The pillows were awful and provided zero neck support. The location was good. My main issue was the apartment smelled of smoke on arrival and despite my email we only got a 'thanks for your feedback' response.

• Julie Helen (10/5): Flott sted å slappe av, både alene og som gruppe. - Fantastisk fin og lys leilighet med fin sjøutsikt, både fra balkongen og fra sofaen i en stue med mye naturlig lys. Fikk en varm og hyggelig velkomst, og de svarte meg på mail fortløpende når jeg hadde spørsmål. Alt i alt, så hadde jeg et fantastisk og avslappende opphold her!☆☆☆

• YUNLEI (10/5): 喜欢 - 整体房间很大，有阳台，面对河和山，很漂亮。是一次很好的体验。就是晚上入住如果超过九点办理，每小时要付200挪威克朗，超过11点每小时400克朗。小伙伴注意了。还有hotels上的价格并不包含清洁费，所以还要额外付25%的清洁费。

• Henriette (10/5): obs last minute hidden fees - I had paid for the stay in advance through hotels.com. When I arrived and met with the employee, he asked me for my credit card... I had to pay another 25% of the total amount for housekeeping, before he would hand over the keys. Even if the apartment was in perfect condition, perfectly clean and in great location. This is a reason for me not to stay with them again. I do not support a system that operate this way.
• Michelle (10/5): Great location - Really clean apartment that was located in a great area. We loved having a grocery store on the street level. If we come back to Bergen we would stay here again. Check in was very smooth.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Pay a lot, get a little, and then pay another 25% - If you like surprise charges and non-transparent prices, you'll love this. Beware--the price you are considering (nonrefundable by the way!) is not the real price -- just add 25% you will pay for a cleaning fee, payable on check-in. And leave it clean and take out your own trash. We could have gotten two rooms in the city center (Bryggen) for what we paid for an apartment at this place. It's a big new apartment building, decent location, clean, all worked ok. Bergen is great, but look for a closer-in lodging option that actually tells you what the price is.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Location is good and in a reasonable distance from the city center. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The sofa bed was not setup at our arrival.

• Kathleen (8/5): Nice size apartment but not ideal location - 10 minutes walk to the city. Pre arrival I sent 4 emails and had to make a phone call in order to get in contact. Was sent 2 different street addresses one by email and one text message. Then the first apartment did not match the hotels.com bedding configuration so had to change apartments. Difficult to get to with luggage using bus as the road has a lot of construction going on. Great size for families but too inconvenient and should have booked a hotel instead.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Waited for 20’ in the rain waiting for someone to bring the key. Had reservation through Expedia for 4. The appartment was for 3 and they had to bring an extra bed. Far from downtown.
