Guest Reviews
- Williams (9/5): Efficient friendly staff. Food excellent. - Excellent Bedside plugs as I use sleep app machine and had to look for extension
- Maggie (10/5): Outstanding hotel, excellent food and really lovely staff - Everything was just perfect. Friendly, helpful and happy staff. Exceptional food fairly priced. Good sized room and the view of the bay was delightful. The pillows weren’t the most comfortable.
- Malcolm (8/5): Peaceful and relaxing with stunning views - Pleasant staff and clean Food menu trying to hard to be fancy keep it like a family run business as it is
- Thomas (10/5): Enjoyable to relax and enjoy lovely food - Staff were extremely helpful It is a lovely place to chill out and enjoy the beautiful view
- Marcus (10/5): -

- Joseph (10/5): We will definitely be back . 4th time to Northern Ireland and this is the best place we've been - Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, amazing views, vegan menu. Nothing. Can't think of a single thing that was disappointing in the slightest.

- Karolina (9/5): Fantastic views - Beautiful little hotel with fantastic views, staff very friendly, lovely food in the restaurant and EV chargers available which is very handy! Everything very nice, just not much breakfast choice for kids( fussy eaters), but as for the older audience food was just perfect tasty and local

- Coli29 (10/5): Excellent - Just back from our first stay in Bayview hotel. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Clean, comfortable rooms, delicious food and friendly helpful staff. We will definitely be back

- c1lee (10/5): Wonderful hotel - We spent five nights here in a beautiful sea view junior suite. The room was really lovely, very spacious with a comfortable seating and an amazing view across the bay. It was extremely well-furnished and equipped. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed having a bath as well as a shower in the room. Breakfast was excellent and we ate in the hotel most evenings as the food was so good! Staff were very helpful and service was excellent. The hotel is well located for lovely walks, golf and touring the area. We hope to return!
- Gillian (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay. - Absolutely wonderful stay. My partner & I stayed for two nights in March 2026 after a couple of nights in Belfast. The sea view room was wonderful. We took the bus to Port Rush one day then did an 8 mile coastal hike along the coast to the Giants Causeway the next (you don’t need to go that far, it’s probably under and hour through the dunes if you go direct). The food is incredible and the staff are wonderful. Highly recommend.

- McDowell (10/5): - Hotel staff and setting excellent .
- Q7933VOmichaelw (10/5): 5 stars - Fabulous hotel, myself and my wife spent 3 nights from 2nd to 5th of March, from start to finish everything exceptional, Trevor an amazing host and his staff so friendly and welcoming, food outstanding my favourite pork belly with scallops one of the best dishes I have ever tasted, will definitely return
- darrenmV6760MR (10/5): A wonderful hotel stay. - We booked a 1 night stay for our mother’s 70th birthday. We had 3 rooms and all three rooms were lovely. Our parents had a room with great views looking out to sea, the other 2 rooms didn’t have the great views but those rooms were really big with comfy beds and super clean. Each room had a coffee machine and plenty of storage. An iron and ironing board was also provided in the room.
The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries that were provided were really nice. A none slip bath mat was also provided.
Each and every staff member was wonderful.
We had a pleasant welcome from the staff at check in who gave us all the information we needed for our stay.
We had a table booked for dinner in the restaurant and those staff couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was excellent.
Likewise at breakfast everything was superb.
It was a wonderful stay for a special occasion.
- Tony (10/5): we really enjoyed our stay - The room was very spacious, there were excellent breakfast selection in a lovely setting with a sea view we will ask for room with a sea view in future, as we only had a car park view
- kathleencE4605WB (10/5): 5 star experience - Spent Valentines night for our 50th anniversary. Location perfect, Superior seaview room. Bed so comfortable, bathroom spacious with jacuzzi bath and great shower. Had a lovely lunch in the restaurant and then drinks and dinner. Meals were delicious as was breakfast and I also chose here because they had a good choice of vegetarian dishes for hubby. Great selection of cooked breakfasts and after brought our coffees over to sit in front of the fire. All the staff were so friendly and big shout out to Alice in the restaurant for being so hospitable. Will be back.
- Taryn (10/5): - When booking I left a note to say it was my dad's birthday - when he went into the room there was balloons and a card - lovely touch. No issues.
- david (10/5): -
- Deirdre (10/5): -
- John L (10/5): -
- Keith (4/5): I would not return. - I liked Fiona who answered the phone and was polite and as helpful as can be. The view from our breakfast table. The ladies at reception were not all that friendly and seemed bothered at check in. They could smile and make you feel welcomed.
It was bayview and we viewed the parking lot from an awkward disabled room. The sheets were somewhat stained and the towels were actually rough and grey. It was gross. For one night, we delt with it and moved on.
The onsite restaurant was not good. I can say it was clean as the waitress whipped out a dust buster next to people eating to dustbust the shelves and knick knack area. Food was not good and coffee was worse. Breakfast was cold scrambled eggs cooked to order but I didn’t order cold toast, cold eggs and a vat of instant coffee. I realize this sounds harsh but what we paid for the room was extremely disappointing after staying for nearly the same price in a Donegal hotel that treated you like family and you received the royal treatment.

- Metin (8/5): - Great location
Great staff
Good restaurant

- Margaret (10/5): Perfect 2 day stay at the coast. - I liked everything. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the sea, and the waves were crashing on the shore and rocks. Had GF corn flakes and soya milk with fresh fruit salad and coffee. The next morning, I had the same plus poached eggs and bacon. In the evenings, we had dinner at the hotel, and because of my food intolerances and the foods I don't eat anyway, I was able to omit certain items from the set menu. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Two photos were taken from the balcony of our room. We went to Derry for the day by train from Coleraine. 40 min journey: £15 return. Lovely day walking around the city. N/A
- philhea (10/5): A superb stay once again - We have just returned from a two day break at the Bayview Hotel. A very homely hotel with friendly & efficient staff, led by the owner, Trevor. It is worth booking a room with a view, at the front of the hotel. The food is delicious ..a great selection from the buffet & also for the cooked breakfast .Evening meal also gives guests plenty of choice. We look forward to a return visit very soon
- barbaradyer (10/5): Excellent hotel. - Just back from an overnight stay here, as always such comfortable place to stay. In a cold January it is so warm and comforting. My advice would be book a bedroom with seaviews, it's worth it. Bedrooms are a good size and well appointed.
Enjoyed an excellent meal at night and a great breakfast.
- dorothyf563 (10/5): Amazing - Beautiful hotel, very well managed. Food, service, cleanliness all top notch with amazing sea view. Great for coeliacs. Would highly recommend
- magictohear (10/5): Stunning Spot - The Bayview Hotel is nestled in a stunning spot with a lovely view of the sea. The cosy fire, as seen in the picture, is always burning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere- especially on chilly days. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the service is consistently excellent. We've visited many times and look forward to coming back again and again.
- Jennifer (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay in the Bayview. Staff are really welcoming. Such a relaxing stay. - Lovely comfortable hotel, beautiful location. Food in the restaurant was lovely. Very cosy bar and restaurant.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Paula (10/5): Fab food, staff lovely and rooms clean and modern x - The location was perfect, the views of the ocean were gorgeous. Room clean and presentable and was cosy and warm. Only thing I’d say is when I booked an ocean view room the picture came up as above however the room we got was smaller but still had the views
- R2085ZClynnem (10/5): Haste la vista! This is the spot! - The Bayview is an excellent destination for food and drinks. Although we haven't stayed there since we have a house nearby, we're confident that the service and accommodations would be outstanding. The bar's decor is fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, with fabrics that exude quality.
However, what truly stood out for us was the service that night. On a bustling New Year’s Eve, we were impressed by Trevor's professionalism as he moved around the room, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of. When we found ourselves in need of a ride back to Bushmills early in the early evening and the rain started pouring, he kindly arranged for Scott, the barman, to drive us home—making three trips! While we understand this is likely not the norm for customers it was greatly appreciated, especially since no taxis were available in the area.
We look forward to returning soon!
- RKJ8 (10/5): Perfect stay - An exceptional hotel. Staff led by Trevor are outstanding. All areas are spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Bedroom was spacious. Food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious and a good range of choices. Views from seaview bedrooms and restaurant are magnificent. Would thoroughly recommend the Bayview.
- Harvey (10/5): -
- Alex Radu (9/5): Comfortable stay with sea view and tasty restaurant menu - View was amazing, especially in the morning.
Breakfast was good, very friendly staff.
Dinner was actually a highlight - I did not expect such a nice experience in a small village. Bed was not the most comfortable.
There was no way to increase heating more than 22C.
- Kieran (8/5): In all i would def go back just hope an improvement on the breakfast - Location was superb
The hotel was so cozy and staff are all very fiendly the evening meal we had was delicious and very reasonably priced The price of drink was little to expensive
Breakfast wasnt great. I had the ulster fry lot of the items were cold the soda and potatoe bread toasted not fried. More like an ulster grill
- Petite1978 (10/5): First class in every sense! - Just back from the most peaceful and luxurious 2 days at the Bayview Hotel. I had been previously with parents but it was my partners first time. We were simply blown away by the cleanliness, decor, outstanding food and attentiveness of the staff. Everything was 10/10!! We have travelled a fair bit and kept commenting that the hotel looked brand new. Everything was shining, no worn seats, not a speck of anything out of place, no unattended tables… Beautiful touches throughout the bar area showcasing local sporting talent such as road racing, golf and football. Makes it seem so local It’s a homely but luxurious spot, not clinical. We would and will recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you for such a wonderful stay and we will definitely see you again!
- Sean (1/5): Very noisy - Music was playing till early hours of moring down stairs in the bar Music was playing till early hours of moring down stairs in the bar
- AnnMarieP628 (10/5): A Cosy Bolthole on a Winters Night - We stayed here 15 years ago with our kids and I always vowed to return so this weekend we took a one night Winter By the Waves package for my birthday. A magnificent Junior Suite overlooking the sea with two comfy recliner chairs to facilitate the view. Three course meal, complimentary Irish Coffees, full Ulster Breakfast, free parking and free wifi all included for £298. I even got complimentary birthday balloons on arrival and a bespoke birthday dessert. Spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed with friendly attentive staff and excellent service. We had lunch and dinner and enjoyed a post dinner drink by the open turf fire on a wild winters night. Only surpassed by the walk along the coastline in the crisp sunshine the following morning, with some great pointers and local tourist information from our breakfast waitress. I can highly recommend this small cosy hotel. Well done to Trevor and all the team. We will be back.
- Michaelmakro (10/5): Such a lovely Bayview experience. - Staying at the Bayview hotel is a lovely experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the breakfast/dinner excellent! - Dominique (10/5): - beautiful location and nice people
- 966colinp (10/5): Romantic Weekend Away - First impressions were excellent. Pleasant and friendly check-in. Our room on the 3rd floor boasted magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. Room was well stocked with tea/coffee facilities, an actual tea pot, complimentary biscuits and crisps were a nice touch. Room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. Great shower.
We availed of spa treatments- Indian Head Massage and Swedish back massage, both of which were excellent.
Dinner in the hotel was excellent, quality and service were of a high standard.
Vegan breakfast was the only disappointment, it lacked finesse and flavour, cooked breakfast was delicious. The staff across the board were excellent, friendly and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the near future.
- Markus (10/5): - Das Hotel, das Zimmer, die Lage, das Restaurant war alles top.
Wir hatten die Suite im obersten Stock mit sehr schönem Blick über die Bucht Nichts
- Alan (10/5): - Everything. Perfect location, fantastic food, spotlessly clean and comfortable room. The staff went above and beyond and made sure we had food and coffee to take with us as we had to leave before the breakfast start time. Cannot fault and will be back but will stay longer next time. Nothing.
- Manfred (8/5): -
- philip (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - Food at the hotel was very good, staff were excellent. Worth paying for a sea view room. A choice of soft or hard pillows would have been nice.

Handy parking at back of hotel. Bedroom was spotless; mattress and pillows very comfortable. Fantastic view over the bay. We had our evening meal in the hotel. Husband said the ribs were among the best he'd ever had. Great range of flavourful vegetarian food - I had mushrooms on toast and summer greens rissotto. Breakfasts are freshly cooked. We'll be back!
- G2402ITsandrac (10/5): Fabulous view, food and service! - Fabulous view overlooking the bay, wonderful food - especially the puddings and great service! Would definitely return.

- Sanvir (6/5): - Location and staff Overpriced food and drink quality
- Helen (9/5): Brilliant - Comfortable room, excellent food and attentive staff
- Rachel (9/5): Mini break - I loved the proximity to giants causeway and white cliffs beach. Very comfortable home with gorgeous view. Near to Bushmills, 30min walk to shop. Nice chip shop there but and unusual lack of restaurants/cafes in the area.
- L6391JWjohnn (8/5): Not as good as it was and more expensive - Returning customer
Getting very dear
Great views
Shower hand holder broken
Shampoo not working correctly
Bar open for non guests who gather at front of hotel creating lot of noise
Coffee machine not working
Dinner nice but no use of air com therefore far too warm
- Roisin (7/5): - Room too hot. Couldn’t open a window.
Bedding was for cooler weather
- Jeremy (6/5): - Had high hopes, but cottage while spacious was a bit dated. Some staff were friendly but servers at restaurant were terse and inattentive. Had last reservation time for dinner and shortly after being sat was told needed to order because they were closing. That was the first night, and was off putting. Location is outstanding to Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge.
- RANDALL (7/5): - View Dated furnishings
- Sank (10/5): Great base to explore the beautiful north of Northern Ireland coast - Great stay, we had the three bedroom apartment close to the main hotel. Good parking, plenty of room, very clean, good facilities (fridge, kettle etc). Great place for a family of 4, 3 bedrooms downstairs with living area and kitchen upstairs. We ate in the restaurant one evening, good size portions and very tasty.
