- Ms. K (10/5): Three hour drive from Dallas, a great visit with Friends and a wonderful weekend in Sweetwater T - Super comfortable bed. Hot breakfast meats, eggs, potato, juice, coffee, tea, waffles too. Very nice staff and the location is fairly close to town. Staff knowledgeable of good restaurants and events in the area. Five minutes from the WWII Avenger Field site of the Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) museum. Fascinating museum definitely worth the visit. Very windy area, although it was very warm, could not use their lovely pool.

- Rosemary (7/5): Not accessible for us. - Breakfast was minimal. We looked it over and decided to get our breakfast elsewhere. Powdered scrambled eggs and sausage were the only low carb options. High barrier to step into the the shower. Not accessible for me and my husband. Walk in/roll in showers should be standard in so-called accessible rooms. The beds were too high to get into comfortably.

- michaelsU8444JV (10/5): Impromptu Stay. - Nice staff. Accommodating. Rooms clean bed comfortable. Breakfast above average for price point.
- Dellecaj (7/5): Solid choice, nothing special or fancy - Did the job for a stopover stay on a cross country trip. The hotel was mostly filled with local workers, or so it seemed. The hotel lobby has a vinyl backdrop of wind turbines (maybe turbine workers?). Nothing in particular, this was a solid choice, though nothing spectacular.

- Elisa (10/5): Great Stay - Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy check in Nothing to complain about
- Y (10/5): It was fast to check in and out, the room was clean and breakfast was hot and fresh. - The breakfast was wonderful. The one thing I think that may have made it better was if we had bottles of water in our room. I have stayed at many hotels and resorts and this was the first one that didn't have bottled water.

- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Robert (7/5): It got the job done. - Easy to get to and was clean “We’ll be back in a few minutes” sign when I arrived. 5 minutes later, 2 staff members arrive at the desk together. No “thank you for waiting” acknowledgment of any kind. Not the best first impression after driving for 9 hours.
- Renée (10/5): Very confortable and quiet. Evening g staff was great and quick when I tripped the breaker. Whoops! - Front réception was very accommodating for a quiet upper room away from traffic after my very long drive. Best room on this trip from Oregon to Austin.

Checkin was smooth and it felt great to get to our clean, well lit and comfortable guest room. Breakfast bidder area was clean and the food offerings warm and filling. Biscuits and gravy a surprise addition. Would definitely stay here again.

- Kay (9/5): Very clean, great breakfast, and friendly staff!! - Very clean
- Steve (9/5): - Very pleasant and accommodating. Handled my incoming mail/packages very professionally
- patriciasH1743KO (10/5): Great hotel for your travels - This hotel was great rooms was great hotel was clean and rooms were great size. The customer service was excellent. Had very good parking and well lit

- Carol (10/5): Great Stay. We will return! - The room was perfect. Clean and very quiet. We slept well.
Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Even the maintenance person outside waved goodbye as we left! Good job! Thanks. Just a minor problem with the tub, it would not hold water for a bath.
Took a shower about 7pm and water was warm. Later the water was hot. Maybe my timing?
- Jay (8/5): - Bottom floor next to exit door in an oil field town is not a great location. 4:30 am and the exit door was slamming constantly as the roughnecks headed for the field.
- Kitty (8/5): Good option for quiet, comfortable access to Interstate - Convenient near food and interstate highway. Visually appealing in Lobby. The bed and pillows were very comfortable The bath is really tight, especially for a couple. There were numerous broken tiles on the floor and in the shower. The shower door would not close.
- Escape647101 (10/5): Day 46 Road Trip - The hotel room was very clean, staff was friendly and large area - great when traveling with pets.
I like the location since it was right down from some of the top restaurants in this area .
- Julius (10/5): - Welcomes pets, and very nice and upscale property!
- Jerilyn (10/5): - Very clean and staff is great!
- Jacob (10/5): - xcellent Stay – Clean, Comfortable, and Great Amenities!
I had a very pleasant stay at La Quinta by Wyndham Sweetwater East. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a great range of amenities. My room was spacious and comfortable, with cold A/C, free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, and a clean private bathroom. I especially appreciated having a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and even a safe right in the room.
The staff at the 24-hour front desk were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also felt safe with all the health precautions in place, including hand sanitizer stations, social distancing, and contactless check-in options.
The outdoor pool was a great spot to relax, and the fitness center was well-equipped for a quick workout. The BBQ area is a nice bonus if you’re staying with family or friends. The hotel is also pet-friendly, which was perfect for me traveling with my dog.
Overall, this is a solid 3-star hotel that delivers great value, cleanliness, and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sweetwater.
- Anthony (10/5): - My third time staying there loved it each and every time.
- Alexandra (10/5): - Great hotel, great breakfast, great staff!!
- Carolyn (10/5): Nice stay. - Very nice place to stay.
- Felton (8/5): - Everything was excellent
- Tracy (10/5): Great place for a stopover! - Very comfortable pet-friendly place for an overnight while roadtripping.
- Matthew (10/5): - friendly staff
- Meta (8/5): LOUD!!! - People at front desk were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Hotel’s appearance was fresh and modern. My only complaint (which the staff can do nothing about) is that the building was not constructed to minimize sound. We could hear the person upstairs walking back and forth above us (for a ridiculous amount of time). Could hear the person in the room next to us sneezing and all morning, up and down the hall, doors slamming. The room, overall property and staff were great.
- Kim (8/5): -
- Tina (10/5): Nice - Very clean The bathroom sink didn’t have a stopper. Plus the lotion was empty
- Michael (10/5): - Nice place to stay. Quiet convenient and clean
- Kimberly (10/5): - Pet-friendly
- Bradley (10/5): - Best La Quinta I’ve ever been to. Staff was super friendly and nice. Everything was very nice and clean
- Robin (8/5): - Everything was great except water in the shower was not hot.
- Deborah (9/5): Quiet stay. Thank you - Well kept Room could be a little cleaner. Housekeeping should look at walls and door trim, baseboard and other for dirt, finger prints and other marks and smears and they should be wiping those clean daily. Overtime, it gets very noticeable and harder to clean.
- Judy (10/5): - Overall good experience. Kind staff , clean . Definitely stay there again.
- Gary (10/5): -
- Bobbi (10/5): Clean! - Clean, comfortable and safe.
- W4915ZDamys (10/5): Great hotel - Front desk staff was super friendly! It was late when we got here and there were no hotels with a vacancy from Abilene ro Sweetwater, except this one! We got the last room. Checking in was very easy as was checkout. The room was very clean and nice and cool when we arrived. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone needing a good night's rest!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
- Jwhite31 (9/5): -
- James (10/5): - Great room, nice staff!
- Stewart (10/5): -
- John (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Angela (10/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accomodating. Although they were working on upgrades, there was absolutely no inconvenience to the guests. Would definately stay again.
- Karl (10/5): - The Conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty #216
- Deborah (8/5): - I liked that it was clean everywhere. All the staff was friendly and helpful whether on the phone or in person. My room was near the lobby and I could hear louder sounds from there but it got quiet by evening. I never heard any noise from adjacent rooms. So I slept well. I would recommend a room on another floor but that’s true anywhere. I’ll remember on my next trip. I would stay there again and recommend it.
- JAMES (10/5): - Always enjoy LaQinnta - dog friendly - excellent staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good location and clean - Our room was clean and beds comfortable. Good lighting in parking lot area. Easy access to hotel off the frontage road. Nice seating area in lobby to sit and visit with family and friends. Did not have any issues with the room we stayed in.
- Michael (10/5): - I had avoided La Quinta Inns due to some bad experiences many years ago. I'm happy to say that a couple of very good stays, including the Sweetwater La Quinta, have convinced me that Wyndham has corrected those past shortcomings.
The Sweetwater La Quinta was clean and bright, with quiet, comfortable, spacious, nicely appointed rooms. The breakfast was a good, hot buffet with plenty with plenty of choices. Both the front desk and the buffet staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. Ample free parking was available.
The location on I-20 was convenient, but the selection of nearby restaurants is a bit limited. Try a local family restaurant called Skeet's about one-half mile west of the hotel on the same access road. It's a simple looking place and *very* popular with the locals. It has lots of home style meals at great prices.
- Cameron (8/5): Overall great and easy for a quick stay - Location made it very easy to stop for the evening and head out early the next morning. Loved that my pet was welcomed since we had to bring her on this trip. The exterior was a little scary in the evening for a female to take the dog out to potty but that’s mainly because of the location right of the highway.
- Tom (10/5): - Excellent service from check in clerk!! Asset to facility!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very clean and the front desk ladies are extremely kind and friendly.
- Alberto (10/5): Castle - Was excellent
Bed comfortable AC was great Breakfast was delicious
👍👍👍👍👍
- Deanna (10/5): - Anyone knows that mold grows quickly down south. We've stayed at various other local hotels in Sweetwater, but none are as clean and quiet as LaQuinta! VERY impressed with the bathroom cleanliness!!!
- Buddy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): - This place was clean and nice. We stayed one night on our cross country drive and it was just what we needed. Large room, nice bathroom, good shower (no tub) and close to Highway. Smaller town so not a lot of traffic or people in hotel. Many options - glad we chose this one.
- Susan (10/5): - A nice experience
