Douglas (10/5): - Passamos apenas uma noite no local, mas a experiência foi positiva. Fomos bem recebidos, a acomodação é confortável, o chuveiro é ótimo e o café da manhã é bem servido. Além disso, a localização foi um grande diferencial para nós, já que fica próximo ao terminal de ônibus, 4 min caminhando, o que facilitou bastante a nossa logística.

The rooms had a small table and a couple of chairs outside each entry door for enjoying a coffee or glass of wine . The included breakfast was OK. It was fairly quiet for sleeping. There was a table and chairs next to the pool that we used with our friends for our takeout pizza dinner. The rooms were small and cramped. The room could use some new linens and towels.

Gail (10/5): A Wonderful Place to stay. - Safe, secure, peaceful place to stay and relax. A good location for visiting wineries. Good restaurants are within short walking or driving distance. Supermarkets and coffee shop are within walking. Free parking, good wifi, excellent breakfast, laundry service, comfortable bed and very clean. Room service was done daily. Those working at reception were friendly, patient (while we Google translated to Spanish), and helpful. The grounds were tastefully decorated with gardens to give the feel of a tropical setting. The property was gated and monitored. There was a nice pool with loungers and umbrellas, Two hot tubs and a spa that provided massage therapy. Even though we were in town, it was quiet. You cannot beat the price for staying at this establishment. Breakfast was a buffet of fruit, yogurt, cheese, meats, breads, cereals, plus you could have eggs cooked fresh to your liking. Coffee and tea was available anytime. A very comfortable place to stay. There was nothing I didn't like.

Julia (10/5): Well located and comfortable small hotel - Casa Calfu is ideally situated in a quieter part of Santa Cruz, but walking distance to the centre where there are shops, restaurants, a street market and a superb museum. The rooms are small, but comfortable, with good sized bathrooms and quiet AC units. The pool area is great, the best we’ve experienced in Chile. The breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. Nothing of concern

Blair (10/5): A Lovely Oasis - Cancellations to earlier plans in Southern Chile “forced” us to spend 9 days in Santa Cruz. It was wonderful. Casa Calfu is a lovely oasis in the town. Breakfasts were great with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries, and eggs. The grounds were meticulously kept as was our room. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. We accepted their recommendations and enjoyed three great wine tours and some equally great dinners.

Mas penso que poderia ter um frigobar no quarto já que a recepção é longe(quarto proximo a piscina). Eu não tenho essa complicação, mas uma pessoa com diabetes pode necessitar guardar a insulina por perto.

Paul Stretton (9/5): Lovely stay with warm and friendly staff - Pleasant rooms with good shower facilities, and pleasantly decorated. The wifi is good, and there was a lovely breakfast each morning in a delightful breakfast room. A nice touch was the cold drinks and wines etc. available from the reception at reasonable cost. The pool is pleasant and well furnished. The location of the accommodation is very close to everything in the town. Staff were absolutely lovely. If we're ever back here, we'd certainly stay again. A small sofa or chairs in the room. Would be nice but not essential.

Kristen (5/5): Ok considering the options but not a number one pick. - The staff was kind and the accommodations were beautiful being a nice escape. Grateful for the security of the property. The shower and bathroom were quite dirty with a hair ball and the shower head showing many signs of age. The bed was fine but fairly old feeling with dips and divides of wear and tear. Breakfast was ok but a bit of a tired experience.

Muy amable la atención y atentas en todos momento. Fuimos a pie y pudimos trasladarnos sin problemas Ideal un frigobar. Aunque no fue mayor problema que nos permitieron guardar bebidas en la heladera de la recepción.

Walter Jose (6/5): OK - Boa localização e lugar calmo Ao chegar fomos informados que o site cobrou valor errado na reserva e tivemos que arcar no check in com uma diferença para ficar hospedado. Isso foi um pouco chato, pois como cliente fiz a reserva em setembro e em nenhum momento foi falado nada sobre isso. Acho que era algo que a pousada/hotel tinha que resolver com o booking intermediário e nao cobrar de mim na chegada. Já fiz mais de 30 reservas pelo booking e foi a primeira vez que isso ocorreu. Haviam outros opções na época e acabei escolhendo eles, no final não foi o valor combinado o que muda totalmente a decisão da escolha. Falta apena um frigobar no quarto.
