• Kellee (10/5): We will stay here again if we come back this way again. - Exceptionally friendly staff. Very clean environment. Helpful. Wonderful breakfast bar in the morning. Many options for all guests. Clean rooms. Sauna, pool, hot tub were all clean and well-maintained. All was perfectly fine.

• Gina (8/5): It was pleasant. I was tired after a very long drive and the amenities were greatly appreciated. - I felt safe and appreciated the area offered food delivery. There were other guests hanging out in the parking lot (a group of men) that made me feel a little uncomfortable. They were watching me.
• Nancy (7/5): Good for a one night stay but priced higher than better hotels. - Liked the setup of the room with the sink and vanity separate from the bathroom. Comfortable room for one night. No elevator and we were on the second floor. After a long day of hiking to see waterfalls, it would have been nice not to have to lug our suitcases upstairs.

Breakfast and pool area were very nice. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a king bed, it could’ve been a little softer but didn’t interfere with our sleep. TV in the lobby was on Fox News but the remote was accessible so sometimes it would put on Sponge Bob.

• Vytautas (4/5): Overpriced hotel with WORST BREAKFAST - Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna Its very OVERPRICED. Right now is not season time and for 2 nights cost $375. The food is ridiculous, no hot food, unless u want to make waffle, or warmed 3 types sandwiches from the fridge, no fruits, limited various. I brought my own food that I will have what to eat for breakfast even we booked hotel with breakfast. Furniture is old and damage. I am traveling a lot in Michigan because I love hiking. If u compare price in pictures rock or other part of Michigan I can GET BETTER QUALITY HOTEL WITH NICE BREAKFAST FOR REASONABLE PRICE. Right now I am feeling that we got SCAMMED.

• Janet (8/5): A great location for hiking the many waterfalls in the area but would recommend better breakfast. - The hotel was well located for the 2-night stay. It was close to the waterfalls that we hiked. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing. There were Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches that you had to heat up. Overall for the high nightly rate paid we believe that breakfast could have had a better offering.

Rooms are very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast is great. There aren't very many places to eat near by so plan ahead for dinner.

• 132gardener (6/5): Decent Hotel - This is clean and up-to-date hotel in Ironwood Michigan. I would have given it more stars except for the following concerns: First, this is a two story hotel that does not have an elevator. If you have mobility issues, getting to a second floor room can be a problem. Second, their breakfast includes waffles and breakfast sandwiches that need to be microwaved. However, during our visit they did NOT have scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage or bisquits and gravy.

• Christopher (10/5): Probably one of the better hotels in town! - A short drive to Copper Peak, which was the main purpose of our trip, this hotel was a wonderful stay. Room was adequate enough for our weekend and was fairly close to shops, gas stations, and decent food options! Would more than likely come stay here again when coming to visit the UP.

• Z8523BHjeffs (10/5): Road trip - After departing a night stay at another America Inn in Duluth, we decided to stay in ironwood, and our stay was far better than the one at baymont. I wouldn't recommend that place. The spirit mountain America inn did not have an elevator just a lot of steps. And it's hard for older folk like us to navigate stairs. Plus the first room that we were put in, it was dirty. Their excuse was, they were short-staffed and should have not put us in a dirty room. We were promised a $40 refund, which we have not yet seen on our charge.

• Shannon (7/5): Nice hotel but way too expensive for what it is. - The hotel is nice and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I didn’t use the pool, but that looked nice. I don’t understand why this hotel is so expensive. Ironwood is a small town with not much in it. I could maybe understand the prices being a little bit more during winter, when there’s skiing or snowmobiling, but in summer when there’s not a whole lot to do, there’s not much to offer in this town. This is the same price I would pay to stay at a nice hotel in Madison. There’s no reason that a hotel in Ironwood Michigan should cost the same amount of that. I was at the hotel for less than 12 hours and it cost me over $200. I checked in at around 8 p.m. and checked out around 7 AM. Also, I was pretty disappointed with the breakfast. There was nothing hot, aside from making your own waffles. I was hoping for a better spread other than waffles or a cold breakfast sandwich that you had to put in the microwave. It also would’ve been nice if they had strawberries and whipped cream or something other than just syrup for the waffles. I’ve stayed here before and they typically have eggs and sausage or bacon, and these types of toppings for waffles. I don’t understand why they didn’t have it this time. I was quite disappointed with the breakfast, and that’s what I was looking forward to the most

• Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t Do It - Despite all of the rave reviews, I feel like our experience was lacking. Some small things that wasn't a huge inconvenience - outlets didn't seem to work. The alarm clock was plugged in and wasn't working (nothing on screen). Tried a couple different outlets with no luck. The main door was also broken. Most hotels' room doors swing shut on their own but ours would stay where you left it. I let the front desk know but they seemed unbothered. This might be normal for them? It's our first stay here, so we have no idea. The last thing, and the one that drove me to take off all stars, is the carpeting in our room. I've never stayed in a place that charges $200/night with such disgusting carpet. Wet and sticky. Reminded me of bar/club floors at the end of the night. For the price, I expected better. We will not be staying here again.
