- Tracey (8/5): One night stay only for family visit, but would stay again if in Birmingham. - Standard pub with rooms, and pub grub and cooked breakfast available. Around 20 mins. walk from New St. Railway station, 15 mins. from bus station. Digbeth high st. nearby with shops/pubs/cafes etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy rooms. Nothing. All good.
- George (3/5): Cheaper option but still not worth the money paid - On site parking Room wasn’t particularly clean or well maintained, blind was broken and walls were very thin
- Jennifer (8/5): Friendly basic rooms above a pub - Cheap and cheerful but ideal for us seeing a band at the 02 institute.
Basic but clean and tidy. The staff were great - friendly and efficient. Beds were not very comfortable.
- Paul (8/5): All good - Great price Parking was difficult
- Nicola (7/5): - The staff were very friendly and accommodating It was a bit basic but clean and tidy with free parking

- Jennifer (9/5): Touch of locality - Friendly chilled vibes there. Good pub menu selection and cosy quiet stay away from the busy city centre. You'll sleep well here. Felt safe as well and with a key to your room, peace of mind. Towels and wash items available. A historic place to stay. The only thing we found is the loud squeaky bathroom door.
- Donna-Marie (7/5): The staff made it all worth it - The staff here are what absolute makes the place. Patrick was soo friendly and funny too, helpful and really is the jack of all. Sarah was soo efficient, all of the staff really do work hard and are soo well managed by the fantastic Sharon. As I arrived in the room, there was a strong sewage smell from the bathroom, as soon as I notified the staff, they did their best to amend the issue. The overall cleanliness of the room was okay, but it was in need of a deep clean. Tusty carpet corners, scuffed walls and dusty skirting boards. I found the bed super uncomfortable, and there were no mattress protectors or pillow protectors which I feel should be standard.

- Nicholas (3/5): Won’t go back - It was on the cheap side in Birmingham The room was old, lose floor boards, ripped wall paint, cracks in the ceiling, neighbourhood was terrible.

- jessie (8/5): Lovely staff, will definitely stay again now i know how to get there. - Staff were lovely and helpful. Property was well presented. Room was clean and comfy bed. Confusing how to get to the car park due to one way systems but that not the property fault

- Roisin (4/5): N Oi t very pleasant at all - Not much staff were pleasant The toilet stunk like something had died in there from the second we stepped in till we left to the point i gagged walking in there and the beds were uncomfortable as anything and felt like u were sleeping on concrete with springs stabbing u in the back all night long I could barely sleep I could hear people in other rooms talking all hours as well the telly also took us a hour to work and when I phoned the receptionist I was told to just go on normal telly which I was on wha it was on when I turned it on and was being asked for a pin the kettle was also rusty on the inside and the cup mats were filthy underneath
- artikoti (10/5): - Everything
- Matthew (8/5): Good value room, clean and comfy - Room clean and comfy. Staff very welcoming and helpful. No frills but certainly got what I paid for. Just a mile walk from city centre, if that. Could have provided more coffee sachets!
- Karl (8/5): Nice gem of a place for future stops in Birmingham city. - Lovely clean room, far enough away from the pub entertainment when required. Pub was a nice place to be, staff were brilliant, couldn’t do enough. Breakfast was just right. If I was to be over critical, my wife and I struggled with our bags walking to the property from the train station, with hindsight we should have arranged a taxi, but this is not the properties fault, it is ours because we knew how far we were going to walk.
- Susan (9/5): - Good location, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't say there was anything that I found unexceptable or could complain about.
- Noah (10/5): clean tidy simple rooms and easy entry along with nice staff. good location too! will be booking again! - clean, simple room, entry and lovely staff nothing
- Gardiner (7/5): Friendly staff but rooms could be cleaner - Friendly staff
Good location
Good prices Hairs on bed sheets and blanket
- Joseph (8/5): -
- Bryan (9/5): - Nice place friendly helpful staff Bathroom had a slight fusty smell
- Rachel (2/5): A double booking was accidentally done due to internet issues. This was discovered on arrival and they haven’t refunded -
- Anna Maria (7/5): Overall I had a good stay at a fair cost. - Close to city centre. It was very quiet which I was nicely surprised about. The staff were really lovely. It is a bit outdated.
- Frith (7/5): -
- Adrian (9/5): -
- Ian (7/5): A fairly central location at a good price but beware of the late music on Saturday night - Location was a little run down but I felt safe enough walking to city centre and back numerous times. Room was clean and tidy, although I never had a drink at the bar as I spent my time with my daughter who is attending university in the city the atmosphere always seemed good. I did eat breakfast on one occasion and it was perfectly fine. Although I did manage to park both days of my stay I returned mid afternoon to find the car park full on street parking is a mixture of permit and very time limited ( I did see parking tickets being handed out). I had to make 3 circuits of the one way system and then just wait for someone to move their car. Lastly a detail I had missed when booking was that loud music is played until 1am on Saturday night meaning no sleep until 1:30. I understand that it is a Pub and people were obviously enjoying themselves, but this fact could be made more prominent in the discription.
- Fradge (7/5): - Nice room, comfy bed, everything you needed was there. Music downstairs until 1pm was not good. Paid the extra £10 for a late checkout as we were knackered.
- Allyballybee85 (9/5): - comfortable room, short walk into the town. friendly and helpful staff.
- Noel (6/5): Nice stay, good value for money :) - Nice rooms perfect for a night away somewhere.
WiFi was good
Easy to check in and out
Side door for guests and was given code so didn’t have to walk through main bar when coming in and out. Very confusing to get to, no fault of the property at all the roads leading to the property where all one way and the satnav didn’t know these roads were one way.
TV did not work.
- L-B (6/5): - It was quiet Door had a large gap at the bottom and the mattress were hard.
- Molly (10/5): -
- grecia gutierrez (10/5): - El sitio bonito La ubicación
- Ollie (8/5): -
- Grace (8/5): -
- Milena (10/5): Superb - Affordable and lifesaving Nothing the place was perfect for what I needed
- John (10/5): -
- Amandio (10/5): - Staff really helpful. Some noisy customers.
- Martin (8/5): - Location and the staff The area around the Moseley arms is a little derelict.
- Noor (10/5): -
- Peyman (7/5): - The price should be lower
- Angela Patricia (5/5): - The room was smelly and noisy, we could hear everyone walking o talking on the hall and the rooms in between.
- Gennaro (6/5): Carino 20 minuti a piedi dal centro - Carino letto comodo camera piccola, Affacciava sulla strada ed era molto rumorosa
- Brian (1/5): The worst accommodation experience ever. Would have preferred to sleep in my car with a sleeping bag - The linen appeared to be clean and so did the bathroom however as I sought an alternative place to stay I didn't use them. Sound proofing or clear advertising that loud music events would continue until 1am BEFORE placing a "non refundable" booking would have meant I would booked elsewhere. Maybe I was unlucky but the room I was assigned smelt of mould/mildew and didn't seem at all healthy. I decided to book alternate accommodation elsewhere at 10.30pm at night with the risk of no refund it was that bad.
- chagweda (10/5): I loved all , good access to everything - Excellent Convenience
- Barbieri (6/5): Host molto disponibile e gentile ambienti abbastanza risicati e datati - Ambienti molto datati e poco curati
- Luca Gandolfi (8/5): -
- dave (7/5): - The price was good. Good location. Free parking The mattess
- Vicky (5/5): Good location for what we wanted, no food served on Saturday. Breakfast was ok but instructions to make your own drinks - Lively pub good location for the purpose of our visit.
Clean room, comfortable bed. Inadequate parking.
No towel hook/rail in bathroom so nowhere to hang any used towels.
Bedrooms too close to the pub, bar closed at 1am.
Noisy morning, music/radio playing at 6:55.
Staff didn’t give instructions for breakfast, make own tea/coffee/toast etc.
Staff member roaming in dressing gown and slippers, told us to use the back door to leave when we planned to stay for breakfast - lacked hospitality and welcoming feel.
- Giuseppe (8/5): Ottimo qualità prezzo - Avevamo una tripla, camera e bagno abbastanza piccoli ma puliti. Qualche prodotto per il bagno e bollitore in camera. No asciugacapelli. Avendo prenotato in settimana la struttura era molto silenziosa. A pagamento tipica colazione inglese.

- Bartosz (10/5): -
- Heleen (8/5): Brilliant location, simple facilities - Location, and a fabulous reggae event was on when we returned after the gig we came for. We had so much fun, late bar. And staff were lovely. Very simple facility and good do with better cleaning
- Chris (6/5): -
- Christian (10/5): -
- William (4/5): - Couldn't use the wash basin due to the big tap being in the centre of the basin. Also the room had a very damp airer smell about it. Said that the room was very clean although very small.
- Barwise (3/5): -
- GUY (8/5): Good day and night in a great location - Great location friendly staff Nothing
- Delyth (3/5): Good room. Bring earplugs - Clean room, soap and towels provided. Free parking There were very loud guests who kept us up 0200-0400am, the pub didn’t provide an emergency number and I didn’t feel safe to confront them ourselves. The walls and floors are very thin so you can hear people talking and walking around. The car park is poorly sign posted on a very confusing one way system.
- Antoni (6/5): Its fine for one night - Its above the pub, there is not dedicated parking - small space behind the hotel for 4-5 cars.
The rooms looked old, the showers seemed a little dirty.
The biggest problem is the neighbourhood - it looks like a ghetto. After sundown I would not recommend to have a walk outside.
